*The Best Cigar Lounge within an Hour to Disneyland* My fam went back to Disney every night. I couldn't find a lounge Sunday or Monday. Then, Tuesday I found 8 Eighty Eight Cigar Lounge! What a great lounge. The parking lot it's in is the same you'd use for Cultura Tacos y Mas and Fuoco's! What a trifecta!!!!First, up front Robert (Bob, Bobby) is the best! Very knowledgeable able and top notch when interacting and delivering great customer service. Love they have Opus X's and the next two nights I went to town haha. They have 4 chairs in the front room and very well lit. Middle Room, Bar Room, is where McKenzie is throwing down! This is more that darker, club vibe. This has a lot of hightop seating and many TV's, not to mention a killer bar. Also awesome. She recommended a burrito place in the same parking lot and it was the best burrito I've ever had! The Third area is straight lounge chairs, music, digital jukebox and bathroom, with medium lighting. This lounge is very deceiving one would think it's very small if you go to the front but then you'll see if it's very large. Loved spending my time there both nights. *Overall, there aren't many lounges now down there, thank God this one's so good!* read more

We were looking for an open cigar lounge yesterday, January 1st 2026 right after the Rose Bowl with Screens to enjoy a cigar and watch some sports. Using Yelp, we located this hidden gem. I called to confirm they were open, but no one answered. after 30 secs I got a call back saying sorry I missed your call. I was speaking with Mario who I had the pleasure to meet shortly after. Walking in, there was a nice size humidor with high end, medium, low budget options. I picked a few shown in the attached pics. Both well aged and conditioned. Worth noting, It is rare to find a cigar lounge with a full bar in OC and in general in California. Only other two I've been to is one in San Diego and another in Danville. Vegas lounge vibes with dimmed lighting and multiple screens. The front cigar-bar lounge has ample high top chairs and tables. Easily can seat ~30 people. Every seat has a view of the screens which is great. High ceilings and very good air ventilation. The bar had great supply of everything, and service was great. The bourbon was reasonably priced but the Japanese scotch was way way over priced, ah well lesson learned, won't order those again. The second/rear lounge had larger leather couches and chairs with a few screens with less distractions for cigar enjoyment. Can seat another 20+ people. Overall I would rank 4.0 stars! one suggestion is for management o provide a menu with alcohol pricing instead of us needing to ask waiter each time what cost of a drink would be. This is the place to be if you enjoy having a drink, a cigar, peace of mind and some great guy talk amongst friends and strangers as well. My friend mentioned that he had heard of this place and wanted to check it out. So, we had a friend fly in from Hawaii who wanted to go out and we decided on this place. We arrived behind the establishment and walked around to get the the lounge but did notice some parking in front. The only reason I mention this is just incase someone reads this and has an issue with parking. There are clubs and bars around so this could be a helpful tip. Anyway, upon arrival the place looks small with maybe 4 recliners, the cash register and the cigar steam humidified room with a large selection of cigars. Once you select your cigar, Mario (great guy at the front), lights you up and directs you to the back where all the action takes place! ** The cover was $10 a person and they have a yearly membership fee of $480 and that includes year round access and you can bring up to ten guess with the $10 cover charge waived for each person. They also have personal lockers which are $50 I believe (don't quote me). Police, fire and military get a yearly membership at the discounted price of $300. ** Ok back to the lounge, as you walk through the hallway, you open the door and you're greeted by a room with about 15 TVs, a bar, and some high stools. I believe this is where they host sports events and for people to smoke and socialize. Then you have the option to proceed even further to another room which is the lounge area with large couches, recliners, tv's, shuffle board and a jukebox. The vibe was dope and everyone was cool. They have a waitress who comes to see if you would like any drinks from the bar and keeps your water glasses topped off. This is a great location to kickback, enjoy your drink and cigar. Even for non-smokers, it is a comfortable environment, well ventilated. If you are not a member, the fee is $10 to enjoy all the amenities. There are many seat options from tables to couch's and leather chairs. The service is top-notch, very professional and very, very accommodating in both the front reception and the bar. Per my husband, the cigar selection is very large with something for everyone. Came here for a work fundraiser in the back room past the bar. Pretty comfortable place to smoke a cigar, enjoy some drinks, and maybe listen to some music or watch some sports. I believe if you're not a member, you can't go to the bar in the 2nd room or the private room that I was in. I talked to a regular and he said he believes he pays around $500 for his membership. If you're not a member, I think you can only sit in the front room to smoke your cigars, but I would check with the worker to make sure. Pretty cool place. I've been to a few cigar lounges around OC and this is one of the few that serves alcohol. It's worth checking out if you like smoking cigars. read more

Under new ownership and this store is already feeling corporate which is the exact opposite vibe people loved about this spot. Moving forward you can only smoke cigars purchased from this store. I think that really unfortunate for people who buy cigars every time they smoke there but prefer to smoke cigars they have been aging that this store doesn't carry or are out of production. You will also not be able to store cigars purchase elsewhere in your locker. Wish the store was bought by one of the customers who had frequented this establishment for the last decade to keep it the way people loved. read more

Mario came to help us host our son's 40th birthday party dressed for the occasion. Prior to the party he helped my husband and son's friend select premium cigars. They were so easy to work with. I sat in the overstuffed, leather chair in a room that just ached of elegant sophistication and gently soaked it all in. I watched a little football. I reveled in this refined, luxurious room. I realized that for some men this would be how they'd imagine Heaven. But far sooner than I wanted, I had to leave to dispatch other responsibilities. The folks at 8 Eighty Eight were wonderful hosts and I truly enjoyed my time here. Even this non-smoker looks forward to visiting again. read more

Stopped in after dinner and drinks for a cigar and, yes, more drinks. This place is the perfect vertex point of chill and class as far as cigar lounges go, it's one of my faves as I can come here at any time with any type of group and I know they'll enjoy themselves. I prefer my cigar lounges quieter with jazz, but this being one of the last cigar bar bastions in California, I'm all for the more raucous atmosphere! Also met Peter and Joey who are great people. The humidor keeps the cigars well; my Padron had an easy drag so I had to slow down between drags to prevent burning it, and the construction wasn't defective in anyway, giving it a clean flat burnline all the way down. I came here on Friday night with a couple friends to catch up, smoke a cigar and have a drink. The gentleman in the front was very nice and super helpful. He had us pick out the cigar we wanted from the walk-in humidor. They had a vast selection of cigars and he offered his expertise to help us choose one. Everything was great up until we walked into the back and sat down at a table. We waited a LONG time until the brown-haired woman that worked there came to take our drink orders. We first ordered some club sodas because we weren't ready to drink yet. She had very off-putting energy and her attitude made it seem like she was doing us a favor by waiting on us. We then waited over 30 minutes for her to bring over the waters and she asked if we were ready to order drinks again with the same attitude. We tried our best to ignore her demeanor and ordered. She asked for a credit card for the tab and we told her we would be paying cash. Once again another wait of 30+ minutes. When she finally brought the drinks out she asked if we wanted to close our tab and I told her no. She was acting annoyed and was being very weird and indirect towards us. I asked her point blank what the issue was and she said she needed payment. I once again told her we were not closing out and handed her my credit card to put on the tab since she continued to have a weird attitude and I was trying to enjoy my night. We ended up having our drinks and enjoying our cigars. But when we were ready to leave she again was MIA. My friend walked over to the bar to find her and told her we were ready. She then proceeds to walk over with my credit card and a receipt for me to sign. I told her that we had explicitly said we would be paying in cash and her response was "well your friend said to close out." He did not, and regardless of if he had the waiter is always supposed to ask if we would like to use the card on file to pay. Needless to say, she was a TERRIBLE waitress and made what should have been a relaxing night out with friends an unenjoyable experience. read more

This place has ALWAYS been amazing, as I have been coming here for years, thus the 2-stars which is for THIS visit only and not the establishment as a whole. My most recent visit on 11/14 visit lacked the regular level of service due to the short haired bartender Mac. Though friendly and pleasant(when she could be found), she was inattentive inefficient and lacked sanitation protocols. -She never approached us to take a drink order, even though she walked passed us while on the phone to get her food order that was delivered to the back door -She walked back passed us with no acknowledgment -We had to move to the bar to get drinks which was approx. 45 minutes after our arrival -She made the cocktail my guest ordered and walked away, completely forgetting to make mine. She came back about 10 minutes later after I had gotten up tp look for her. She admitted she forgot and apologized -The most egregious action I witnessed was when the bearded gentleman standing at the end of the bar ordered another beer, she took his used glass as refilled it, touching the rim of the used glass to the beer tap. His germs all over the tap to contaminate the next beer. DISGUSTING! -I wanted to cash out and again, she was nowhere to go found. After again waiting, I got up and saw the she was in a supply closet behind the bar eating. When she returned to the bar, the had a half eaten rib bone in the hand. She did not wash her hands(to my recollection) before presenting and processing my payment. This review is not intended for Mac to be reprimanded, just properly trained regarding service and keeping your customers safe from the possibility of getting sick due to her actions of cross-contamination. Get you customers a new beer glass, or at the very least, don't take a glass that someone just had their mouth on and touch it to the beer tap. read more

I go to Vegas often but I just started staying at Resort World. After finding Eight Lounge though I'm only staying here. Marie helped me my first night here and made my whole experience amazing. She suggested great wine and informed me further on the lounge. It was such a great experience that I've went back 4 times. She even told me about a special pop up event they hold here called Kicks & Sticks, she gave me dates for it but I haven't caught it yet. I can't wait to go back and I love Marie...she's really the best! read more

Is it the location, selection of cigars and drinks; or maybe it's the people and the experience... @8eightyeightcigarlounge located in Fullerton, Ca. pretty much is the "experience & example" of what your neighborhood cigar bar should be... and more! I was given the recommendation to check this place out while in town. I'm so glad I did. The sign upon entering made me chuckle with the "husband daycare center" but the overall entrance to the lounge was deceiving in a fantastic speakeasy way. I was greeted by Cameron, a young curly haired enthusiastic cigar lover. He mentioned that it was a "Members Only" lounge, but there was a day pass fee for non members of $10... not bad compared to another place I wanted to check out ($500 spend min). They had a great selection of cigars in their humidor and I was even able to find a Lancero (Illusione Fume D'Amour Juniperos)! They also offer locker service for members to keep all of their cigars. I'm sure you can afford one, since memberships start at less than $100 a month! While showing me the lockers, Cameron took me through a door at the end of the room that led into this fantastic bar with a beautiful mural painted on the wall along with several oversized TV's and a fantastic bar. Mo, the friendly and sweet bartender made me feel right at home whipping me up a drink made with Mole bitters. It was delish! Behind the bar was another room that had a fireplace and plenty of chairs to chill in a more quiet and intimate environment for those that may want to just chat. I was able to chill laugh, smoke and drink with many of the local patrons and even met "Winston" the bars furry pal! Cute little chihuahua even has his own water dish when he stops in. The entire environment and experience felt like a scene from Cheers with all the love this place has for their community, first responders, active duty and veterans is unparalleled. I was Lucky (and blessed) to meet the owners Roger and Sonia! Some of the most humble beautiful people who truly love their staff, that you will ever meet. My coworker is a member here and he was able to get me and a few other guys in without any charge. We got here around 5:45 on a Friday afternoon and we got a couple of tables in the back by the bar. They have a FULL bar with great bartenders. Lots of choices of beers and whiskey. They do offer a lot of choices of cigars but we brought our own in. The owners walked around multiple times to check on us which I found to be VERY professional. The place is clean, lots of TVs to watch sport games & they play great music. As a member, I have enjoyed my experience so far. For the most part I've had good service anytime I've attended the lounge. My biggest complaint, is when I go in on a Thursday night after work, I'm usually there by 11:30 pm. I typically bring about 2 or 3 other friends from work with me. We each purchase a cigar and about 2 to 3 drinks each. Anytime we go, the bartender has the tendency to kick us out early, he's not shy about telling us we need to leave either. The establishment says they're open till 2am on Thursdays, but we're always getting kicked out before then. We recently went, and we were told it was last call, at 12:30 am, and by 1am, we were told we had to leave. It's upsetting, because we are spending money, on top of my membership fee, and that's the service I receive anytime I go on a Thursday. read more
