Nice selection of cigars! Helpful willing and ready to "roll" staff. Once you buy, they do have a back room (with bar). Not sure if you have to be a member, or there's a per visit fee. Big TV's and then a second room to the back, less on the TV's more on the couches. This particular visit was nice - Padrons don't hurt;). Anyway, as a typical cigar bar goes, this was "up there." read more

Nice discovery while in Anaheim. Wanted an easy place to have a cigar & chat, and we found this diamond that even has a full bar. Nice people working there, full bar, 2 different sections, if you want to watch different games, they have it all! Will be thete again, next time I'm in town! read more

Nice to see my favorite cigar lounge is back open! IThis place is for "grown folk" (yes intentionally left as singular not plural) meaning that since the 888 is smack in the middle of a college town there's no bs kid drama like in surrounding bars. It's not a cheap bar so you're gonna pay top shelf prices for top shelf alcohol. The members hear are awesome people from all walks of life. All the bartenders possess serious mixologist talents. If Old Fashions are your drink then you'll be in heaven. Roger the owner is great guy who makes everyone feel right at home. Prior to the Covid break most patrons would occasionally have food delivered to the lounge from the neighboring restaurants but now it's required. Luckily the area is literally surrounded by great restaurants. I ordered chicken & beef tacos as well as carnitas nachos from the Back Alley as they were delicious. PS The lounge is for members only but the humidor is available to everyone. Very affordable membership price. read more

Love this Spot! I came to town from the East Coast and looked up cigar lounges in Anaheim and just by chance found 8 Eighty Eight. Love the people and location. I went there after work every night. I highly recommend this spot to anyone coming to Anaheim or Fullerton! Two guys from South Carolina appreciate the hospitality! read more

Let me just start by saying this place has shown me the upmost respect. The staff here is nothing but second to none starting with the owner Roger. Sonya being the second in command brings another level of professionalism and to end with Macenzie. Family owned business that truly know how to take care of their people. Not an expensive membership and some or the best old fashioned's I've ever had. Great service And great people. It's the perfect place for a get together with friends and family who enjoy a good cigar and old fashions. Don't listen to the negative people here who feel this isn't a great establishment. If so, find another establishment who charges $40 a month. read more

We were newbies to this bar and they couldn't have been nicer. Because we were the first ones in that day they waived the $10 fee to enter the actual bar area. John the bartender gave generous pours. It was a Tuesday. I'd expect it to be more crowded on weekends. They didn't have Natural Dirt Torpedoes, my favorite, but the cigars I bought instead were wonderful. The owner himself came to chat with us. We were treated like VIPs from start to finish. The jukebox was also excellent. Next time my friends come we'll be back! read more

Came here to watch the UFC fight with my Husband and Ended up getting Memberships. This place is Awesome! Feels like Cheers. People here are so awesome and it just an all around fun way cool environment. The bar has a huge selection of Whiskeys (My Favorite), Beers and Other Top Shelf Drinks. Plenty of Seating. read more

Straight up love this place and I've been here a whole 30mims. Great atmosphere and people. Staff goes above and beyond. Very diligent in checking on you while here. The drinks are great. Wow what a great experience, the guy the night I went was very knowledgeable about his cigars as far as bold flavors to mellow tastes. It was a pleasure to meet him. We entered to the bar inside ordered drinks sat at bar, been quite a while since I've been in, to many tables up for my taste of enjoyment of this establishment. To many T.V's to enjoy , Busy the back old leopard room could still be a bit more remodeled, unsure what's going on with seating up top? Restroom could be a bit more updated. Bartender was alone, Wow super busy, even a client helped her behind the bar. She was very attentive even tho she had a lot on her plate. Thanks. In the past year the new ownership has really done a nice job fixing it up. They now have a full humidor, new A/C system, cleaner restrooms, new furniture and a great bartender! The cigars are a little pricey but good to see the money is being put back into the place. Finally some stability here. Kudos to Roger and the team. read more

I wanted to compliment 888 on everything. It's exceedingly comfortable, relaxing and welcoming. Whether you are a first timer or been there multiple times, it's like a visit with closest friends. Cost is great, the ventilation super and drinks are poured liberally. I mostly want to comment on the management and ownership and their continued generosity, but in particular, to veterans. What can I say but first class service from Jacob and Harold to private room with Daniel and Reyna making sure we were taking care of. Listen, I don't give easy reviews, I give based on quality, service, and my experience... if I could give 100 stars I would!! Excellent that's all I have to say. You have to know a member or be a member to go in the private room, but let me tell you, one visit will wow you!! I've been to many because of my BFF who enjoys cigars, but let me tell you it's not smoky, good drinks, music, accommodating for women and men, it's just awesome! The members are cool and socialize with you, and it's a family atmosphere, great date night, husband daycare, whatever your vibe calls for. Daniel is one of the best!! read more

Overall it's a really solid lounge! My only complaint is that the humidity in the humidor is way too high and the air filtration system. Smoking at this lounge makes you smeel as if you had hot boxed your vehicle. The carbon filters may need to be replaced or the system may not be adequate for the amount of square footage. read more

One of my favorite Cigar lounges in So Cal! This place is a true man cave- great humidor with good cigars, full bar, recliner chairs, big screen TVs, lockers, pool table, juke box & great atmosphere. Coming in the front you can't tell how big this place is. Walk in and they have a couple seats and entrance into the humidor, but thats only the beginning. There is a back door behind the humidor past the lockers that you have to get buzzed in. Once inside you enter the first Cigar room. Big screen TVs, recliners, full bar and high top tables to really kick it. Great place to have a smoke, drink and catch a game. But wait, there's more! Walk past the bar and you'll find another room with tables, a VIP area, pool table, juke box & more TVs. What!!!! This place has it all. Located in downtown Fullerton, you can order food from any of the local eateries & many of them will deliver to you. Yeah, don't even have to leave to get your favorite food. This place is truly, as the sign says in front, a mans daycare center. Leave your man here and go shopping, he will love you for it! Lol read more

I find this place to be offensive and gross. Why are they allowed to have smoking of any kind inside a building? I am not a member but was invited by a potential business partner and this place was the deciding factor on why I will not be doing business with him or any of the men at the meeting. What I saw reminded me of the "good ole days". For men that is. I saw many married men carrying on with the female help that was not appropriate. But what some people will do to look like big shots and others will do for a fat tip is no place for any real deals to be made. Never again, I would not want anyone to ever get the idea that I play that game. read more

To start,888 is an awesome cigar shop. Good selection, knowledgeable and courteous staff, easy process if you're just stopping in to pick up some cigars. Where 888 REALLY shines is in the back! The staff are incredible, the selection of liquor is top-shelf, and the selection of sports is unbeatable! If you want to up your sports bar game, become a member at 888! You receive discounts on cigars, opportunities to attend invite-only tastings, plus awesome game day and holiday celebrations! Don't know anyone at the club? That's ok, everyone is friendly and welcoming of new faces! Want to bring a couple friends? You can do that as a member! If you've ever wanted a little cozy bar spot, 888 is definitely the place. The owner, Roger S., is a class-act. You're likely to run into him at some point in the front shop, but you'll definitely see him in the back, chatting with members and hanging out. Roger has taken 888 and made it into a special hideaway for members while maintaining a great storefront. I also want to commend Roger for being an all-around good dude. I've been a member at 888 for a couple years now and he is always happy to chat in person, by phone and by email. I have always felt well-cared for as a member and I attribute it to Roger and the culture he has created within the club. First and foremost, kudos for the management for strategically setting up this establishment in a manner where you will want to see more. Upon entering you are greeted by knowledgeable cigar aficionados who are approachable and willing to assist anyone. It doesn't not matter if you are a first timer, or you've been on the cover of Cigar Aficionado...they will assist EVERYONE you too Mr. Ex Governor. Then you step into the humidor...ahh!, the aroma is like being in cigar heaven. They have a wide variety of cigars that I promise will keep you busy contemplating your choice. Then the gem of the establishment..., the lounge. If only the gates of Heaven can mimic the feeling ‍, I believe I saw St. Peter enjoying a cigar . The lounge is blessed with a T.V. room with six recliners, plenty of tables and chairs for small or large parties, a fully stacked bar with service to match. In the back room you will find a pool table, and a separate area for your closest friends to sit, relax and converse. I will be honest, I my not be giving 8 Eighty Eight the full credit it deserves in such a short note...you must experience for yourself. So yes...a must return. read more

The Eight88 lounge is NOT what it seems like from the front! It has a nice sized and great selection of cigars to choose from. Thanks to David Chartier, we were able to enjoy a reserved table in the back with the bar. Unexpectedly, as u walk to the back u have to walk through double doors in which had lockers as your very own personal cigar storage (great experience). The bar tender was very attentive for service and the lounge had enough entertainment tvs with great music! The very end of the lounge was surprising big for larger number of friends! Cigars are priced fair and I would definitely come again! read more

THEN, and yall; I was a little lit but not drunk drunk, I was talking to the bar tender we were chopping it up and having a good talk then this girl who I said I hi to thought I was hitting on her and I told her I was married to a man and then I asked her "did you think I was hitting on you" she dismissed me but then apparently she told the bar tender that I did something because I was ASKED TO LEAVE - I have never in my life written a review for anywhere and I also have never EVER been escorted out of a bar at all let alone for no valid reason. I wish it went better because love dancing and it's a place to dance near my house but i definitely will never be back and would NOT reccomend this bar to anyone ever.

The answer my friends, is the good old classic American dive bar. Now, many places like to call themselves a dive bar just because they never clean a single inch of their establishment and have seedy patrons that love to play the more than occasional 80's songs on the jukebox but don't be mistaken, a good dive bar is hard to find. Well, I happen to have found one and it's in Fullerton of all places. That's right, Fullerton, not Los Angeles, nor Hollywood nor some pop-culturally over-hyped city. What makes The Blue Door a good dive bar? First, there's earned consistency & routine. The drinks won't always be made well, or the bartender won't always be attentive but if you come a few times, you'll soon know at what time and day the drinks are made properly by knowing the schedules of the bartenders. Secondly, the drinks are stiff, the service is friendly and nobody bothers you unless you bother them. The atmosphere goes from lively and loud to quiet and solitary, again depending upon when you visit. Lastly, they're open from 6:00AM-2:00AM. They're not just there when the hipsters are around, they're there for you whenever you make the bad decision of using alcohol as an anesthetic.
