Strawberry Spritz cocktail.

we were lucky enough to stay at the Copper Vine Inn for 3 nights this past week and while our schedule didn't permit a full meal in the beautiful restaurant we snagged drinks at the bar and they were all amazing. Such a unique cocktail menu and the bartender, while busy as a bee, was gracious enough to share details about each cocktail we were interested in as he whipped them up. I would love to return to try some more and dine-in.

Atmosphere , service and food were wonderful! We were invited to a dinner that was hosted in one of the upstairs private rooms. The creole beef served over grits was tender, lean and flavorful. The salad that was served was light and refreshing without too much dressing and the bananas foster dessert was just the right portion size and wasn't too sweet. I would highly recommend going there for dinner if you're in town. They had a nice bar downstairs and really cute outdoor dining area that was decorated with lush greenery.

The food was really tasty! It did take a little while to come out but it was parade season so totally understand! Our waiter wasn't the friendliest, which was disappointing. He did a good job but just wasn't extra friendly or talkative. The vibe in the restaurant is actually incredible! The bathroom is its own vibe as well! Will definitely be back to try this place again

The restaurant inside and out is beautiful. I especially enjoy the courtyard when the weathers nice out. Spacious there's greenery. Excellent service and small plates. Offering lunch, brunch and dinner. Will be back to check out more menu items. The 'on the vine spring tasting series' was excellent. Attended the series highlighting orange wines. I will try to attend another tasting in this series. 10/10

Excellent dinner! Beautiful ambiance on the patio. Service was attentive. Food was delicious. Loved the tuna tartare & deviled eggs. The gulf fish was also seasoned to perfection with a wonderful butter lemon sauce. Truffle fries were tasty however the fries in the center of the dish were a bit soggy unfortunately, but had impressive truffle flavor. Enjoyed our dinner and looking forward to coming back!

Coppervine lunch is always a hit. From their pick two lunch with soup/salad and sandwich; to their amazing appetizers. It's clear that they are the place to stop in for lunch. The deviled eggs were amazing and creamy alongside the hot honey margarita pizza to start. The creole tomato sandwich on focaccia bread was dreamy next to their crab and corn bisque. Definitely worth the stop for lunch!

I came here for brunch and everything was delicious. For brunch I got the chicken and waffles. It was 3 chicken strips and then a waffle, it came with butter, syrup, and then this sweet peppery sauce . Everything was seasoned so well, I feel like this meal could be split between two people. It was a big portion. I got the margarita for a drink and it was delicious! I will have to be back for dinner

I was visiting town and this place was recommended to us by our hotel staff. I can say it did not disappoint!! We had fun wine flights, and a few appetizers. Great vibes and cute spot with great food. What more can you ask for?

Copper Vine Wine Pub & Inn 1001 Poydras St, New Orleans, LA 70112 #tonylameats Elegant vibes, smooth cocktails, and beautifully crafted dishes all in one spot. Every bite was full of flavor and perfectly plated, from the savory small plates to the juicy entrées. Perfect place for good times and great memories. Highly recommend!

Appetizers were way better than the entree Entrees were bland, cold, lacked flavor Tuna tartar was good yet served with chips that overpowered the dish The crawfish beignet almost tasted like a corn fritter Ambience was great though !

I've dined here about 4-5 times now, and I've never been disappointed. However, tonight was not the experience I kept coming back for. I love coming here for special occasions big or small because the service and food is always impressive. Tonight, our waiter was clearly stressed out - but I could see why. He had tables in our dining area, in the other inside area, and outside. For whatever reason that may have been, it caused us to have a less desirable experience. He asked the same questions multiple times which caused longer wait time on beverages being refilled and/or orders being put in. After the appetizer was finished, he took my silverware and never replaced it - then my food was delivered to the table and everyone else had silverware but me. I looked around and he was attending to a table outside in a different section (which obviously I wouldn't yell at him across the restaurant but it was impossible to get his attention through a glass wall.) My friend ended up taking from the table next to us since we saw the waiter was busy. He was super nice but, again, very stressed out. With that being said, we were understanding and still tipped him properly but he even took the credit card for us to pay the bill, and returned it without swiping it. I could have easily just left without paying my bill but I immediately brought it to his attention. Also, when I asked for recommendations on what food to order - he didn't seem too knowledgeable and everything he suggested was because it was "good". All in all, I think this server could use some guidance from a manager and less tables until he can get where he needs to be (again i think him having multiple sections was a factor.) Food was delicious as always, but my mom's mushroom/shrimp risotto only had two shrimp so that was a bummer. I was also not impressed with presentation. I hope this was an off night as I always want to come back after dining here.

Dessert! Some chocolate pudding thang.

We were here for a group dinner and had an enjoyable time. It wasn't the best place I've eaten by any means, but they accommodated our large party well. The Gumbo was decent, the appetizers (deviled eggs, crab beignets) were meh, but the Duck Confit I got for dinner was excellent. The crispy skin and fall-off-the-bone meat was spectacular, as were the white beans it was served with. So good! They had beignets for dessert and they weren't that great (kinda hard) but the chocolate pudding dessert was good. But how do you ruin chocolate pudding? I'm sure someone has, but not here. The drinks didn't stand out either. They weren't bad, but just kinda there. The Sazerac was good (not great) and the Old Fashioned was just over regular ice cubes. C'mon man... put a ball or a cube in that glass. Everyone commented on the odd bathroom setup. I think it was 5 unisex individual stalls. Some female diners commented on guys walking out and still zipping up! Yeah, we do that when we leave the stall. It's efficient, right? Walk and zip to save time! It was good but being in New Orleans, I want N'awlins food and this just didn't do it for me. I don't think I would return.

Who's that??

Full disclosure I didn't want to come here. A co-worker picked it and I was hostile as I JUST wanted chips and dip. Full truth: service was 5 star. Location/ambiance/vibe was 5 star. Cocktails 5 star and food 5 star. I am actually grudgingly MAD about it. Because I wanted it to suck. But it was GREAT. I'm the VEGAN of the group. And yes several items "could be made vegan."whoop Dee Doo...but man. I HATE arugula and when I say hate, oh I mean it. Like Capulet versus Montague type HATE. It's too bitter. Leafy. Big. They had a sunflower Arugula Salad. I asked for it vegan. It was peppery and bitter like arugula but the lemon in the dressing, plus the creamy-ness of the tahini dressing was a Chef's kiss. So delicious. It was balanced and really well thought out for flavor. Our party really enjoyed all of the food, and again the service was EXCELLENT. What a lovely spot and lovely evening. I would highly suggest thia restaurant.

This is the lunch half salad and sandwich. Beat Salad and crawfish grilled cheese. Very unique and tasty

Rich, layered, and well-balanced with fresh elements that worked together on the plate. For entrées, we had a variety of cuts, including the Australian Wagyu, ribeye, butcher's cut, and lamb chops. The Wagyu stood out immediately. High quality, great sear, and finished tableside, which added to the overall experience without taking away from the food itself. Each steak was cooked precisely to temperature and full of flavor. The lamb chops paired with carrots and brussels were well executed and balanced. The sides complemented the meal well and did not feel like afterthoughts. You can also see their in-house dry aging setup, which speaks to the level of detail they put into their steak program. It shows in the final product. The drinks were solid across the board. The Old Fashioned and bourbon selections paired well with the meal and matched the food's quality. Service by Noelle was attentive and responsive throughout the night. Everything flowed well, and we were taken care of without feeling rushed or hovered over. This is not a casual dinner spot, but for a celebration or a night where you want a full experience, Doris Metropolitan absolutely delivers.

Glancing at the hostess, asking "OK to sit at the bar?", getting a nod, sitting down. An experience we've done in hundreds of restaurants. (We had reservations for a table but often prefer the bar.) The bartender -- whom we believe was named Mike -- started off his interaction with new customers as follows. "Did you check with the hostess?" I nodded in the affirmative, apparently that wasn't enough. "Check with the hostess", he ordered. I got up, went over the hostess stand, and confirmed, this time so "Mike" could see, that it was OK for us to sit at a half-empty bar. (In retrospect, we should have gotten up and walked out immediately, but it was late and even in the Quarter most places were closing for dinner.) You see, Mike clearly didn't want to be working that night. He was rude, inattentive, and condescending. And not just to us, to everyone seated at the bar. Slow making drinks, slow asking for orders, seething contempt for his customers. One time we asked to see a drink menu to decide on a new drink, he said, and this is a direct quote, "Do you want to see it or do you want to review it?" Mike's behavior was clearly well-known to the staff, because another staff member, who was off-shift and next to us at the bar, witnessed this behavior and arranged for a free dessert on the house (classy move on her part). She confided in us that Mike's pretty much always like that, but that he's a buddy of the general manager so seemingly un-fireable. Well, here's hoping someone reads this and thinks the better of Doris Metropolitan, or at least sitting at the bar. Unless you think service you'd get in a Paris tourist trap cafe is appropriate for a high-end steakhouse, you're better off spending your hard-earned money elsewhere.

This place advertises burlesque shows and "Shibari", however I did not see any of that during my visit. I do not dock points though because I'm certain there's a schedule that shows when these events occur. If you're interested in seeing one, best to make sure when they're taking place. There are security cameras all over the bar so this location can remain sex-positive and safe for guests. After ordering myself a drink, I chose to relax in their bright pink room with the large bean bag and teddy bear. This was my favorite spot for its light-hearted and playful atmosphere, although the room next to it was pretty exciting as well--with its black-and-white paintings of kinky exhibitionists. During my visit, I noticed that there was a collection of leftover glasses from previous guests. Since it was a slow Sunday night, I thought there would've been ample time for an employee to clean up that area beforehand. There was one barista that night, and while she was kind and made excellent cocktails, her voice was really low--making it difficult to hear her over the music. I'm glad the bar was empty, or else I may have not been able to hear her properly. Aside from those minor concerns with cleanliness and communication, I'd still say to give Fetiche Nola a shot if you're looking for a unique place to start off a long night of partying. We arrived sans reservation, but were whisked straight into the courtyard -- arguably the best seat in the house on a pleasant Louisiana evening. Between the soft night air and the glow of the courtyard, the atmosphere alone deserved applause. The cocktails arrived first and immediately set a dangerously high standard: beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, and the kind of drinks that make you consider canceling your plans afterward. Fortunately, the food rose to the occasion. The edamame and roasted Brussels sprouts disappeared with alarming speed, and the Amelie Salad was a standout -- generously portioned, fresh, vibrant, and substantial enough to be an entrée or ideal for sharing if you're pretending to be civilized. A special nod to Liz, who elevated the entire experience with spot-on recommendations, warm hospitality, and the rare ability to be both attentive and effortlessly relaxed. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side.
