New hidden gem! Obsessed with the decor and their wallpaper. Menu is cool and different. You can get a strong cocktail, a lower proof cocktail with less alcohol, and then a sample size of that drink profile. Cool way to make a menu. We didn't love their flavor profiles this time but would come back again with a new menu. Recommended by a local!

What a beautiful spot! We stopped by on Valentine's Day while they were doing a cute Soul/R&B set list. All of the small plates were delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed the bartender, and he actually made me a custom mocktail (although there were a few listed in their menu already.) planning to go back and try some other dishes soon!

My first time at this spot and yes I'll be back!!!! Junebug on Camp Street is a true New Orleans hidden gem! So cute and quaint with a lively bar and the most charming outdoor patio in the back -- perfect for relaxing with friends or date night vibes. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, with great music and a welcoming staff that makes you feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the craft cocktails were on point -- creative, well-balanced, and beautifully made. It's an ideal spot for happy hour (Tuesday-Friday, 4-6 PM), but also great for late-night bites and drinks. Open nightly starting at 4 PM (closed Mondays), Junebug is definitely one of those local favorites you'll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend! Check it out soon and add to your list.

This was my second time at Junebug, and it was just as great as the first! This time I came for a wedding after-party with a group of about 20 people. We had no problem finding seating, which was a huge plus. The drinks were strong, delicious, and reasonably priced. I had the Baby Wants to Ride and loved it. The music was low and mellow, creating the perfect vibe to wind down the night. I've had the food before, and it's solid as well. Junebug is a great spot for pre-dinner drinks, happy hour, or just catching up with friends. Parking in the area is pretty easy, too. I'll definitely be back!

Boulevardier

Lovely and historic spot for a well made cocktail. Enjoyed it very much on a Wednesday afternoon with some colleagues, and had a nice chat with the bartender while waiting on them. He made me a tasty and balanced Boulevardier with Sazerac rye. Would go again next time I'm in town!

Never heard of this place, but a friend recommended it for dinner. The inside is fabulous! Sat at the bat to grab a drink while I waited, and the bartender was great. They serve delicious cocktails. Decor was nice..good date spot. Food is tapas style which I love, as it gives us the chance to try a lot of different items. The croquette balls were delish. The tuna crudo was pretty bland but the fish was fresh. Oysters were pretty good as well as the fries. Loved the dipping sauce. The beet salad was light and fresh. Overall it was a pretty good experience. You will need to order several things because the portions are small.

Decided to stop here during our bar hopping day. And walked into the gem. I loved the decor and the vibe of this place. Gave me a speakeasy feel which I loved. We ordered some drinks which were good. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back for the dining experience.

I love the fresco'd walls. Very dimly lit so beware if you have trouble in lowlight situations. Your eyes do adjust after a bit. Our host, young curly haired guy, was thankfully able to squeeze us in. Very nice and personable. Our server, Sav, was very nice and attentive. She even brought my friend a perfect drink after being told to surprise her! Had the pickled shrimp dip and the bacon and duck creppinnettes. The shrimp dip was good. Definitely was expecting more tang. It was still tasty. Wish there was more. The duck and bacon creppinnettes, which I realized were meatballs when they arrived, were delicious. The bacon flavors are incorporated into the meatballs instead of just lazily sprinkling bacon on top. Really good! There are a few more things I want to try on their menu so I'll be back

Shrimp skewers

Tapas selection specialized, but def delicious. Korean ribs were scrumptious and tender, shrimp skewers had amazing flavor, snapper crudo was refreshing, caesar salad was perfectly dressed, and drinks were divine. Equally impressive was the staff. Cameron was incredible as were the entire team. Highly recommend and would come back next time in town!

I'd seen so many beautiful photos of Junebug and couldn't wait to experience it for myself. The atmosphere did not disappoint--stylish and inviting--so I was excited to settle in and enjoy the evening. I started with the Party on Plastic cocktail, which was fruity and smoky--something I'd order again. Since I visited on a Friday after 10 pm, the condensed late-night menu was in effect. My friend and I shared a few snacks: duck quacklin', a pickle plate, and fries with comeback sauce. While the space was gorgeous, the food was just okay, and the service could have been better. We had to flag down our server each time we needed something, as she didn't check in much. I'd give Junebug another try, but I'm not in a hurry to go back.

I think I need to come back for the late night menu to really get the full experience. There's a Duck Reuben that I NEED to have. But anywho, we came as a party of three for a birthday. We didn't have reservations but were seated in the bar high top area after a few minutes. This place is beautiful. The arching lights over the bar are my favorite. We only came in for drinks and appetizers as we were going somewhere else after. Our server, Sav, was really nice and informative. For my drink, I ordered the Paid in Full. Just the right amount of sweetness and it packed a nice punch! For the appetizers, we shared the Pickled Shrimp Dip, which was cool and refreshing, very tasty as well. I also ordered the Duck and Bacon Crepinettes. Those were really good. Definitely need to return to try the entrees and the sandwiches!

Great atmosphere and food. I loved my experience. It was a nice addition to the festive food scene. Great for a date or hangout with friends. A sexy spot! We ate the cornbread lamb gnocchi, duck meatballs and mash, and pickled shrimp dip with crab boiled crackers. Everything was yummy!! Service was excellent!!

The presentation of the food came was amazing. We ordered the linguine and added meatballs, which was well worth it. We also ordered the shrimp & grits, which included Brussels sprouts. Boy, it was sure nice to get some vegetables in my stomach after eating all that yummy fried food during our stay! All in all, both dishes were delicious. It is a little on the pricey side, but after several days of eating in the touristy area of the French Quarter, this was truly a welcome change. Service was polite and attentive. I always appreciate the staff's efforts by making simply making eye contact and smiling (which they did). Seems trivial but I think those small things says a lot about a business. The ambiance is amazing, plus velvet, emerald and sapphire tone, glitzy, and feels like a good photo op. The bar and cocktail menu looked expansive. However, I was going to be hopping on a meeting, so I could not partake, unfortunately. A group got this impressive tower of espresso martini and everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks! I wanted that New Orleans seafood but had late lunch, so I opted for just the crispy gulf shrimp on cheesy grits. I really wished I can hungrier because the dish ended up being very heavy. The shrimp were nice and crispy. The charred Brussels sprouts gave me the false sense that this was a healthy dish because I was getting my veggie intake. The bacon jam was sweet and went well with the Brussels sprouts. I loved the combination of the cheesy grits and the Crystal hot sauce. It was the perfect amount of both and some how led me to understand why Americans put hot sauce on their Mac n cheese and some other cheesy dishes after 30 years of not really understanding the attraction to that combo. I got the marinated olives to go so I could have a little snack later. They were just stuff I feel I could get in a jar... not really sure if I could justify the price. I think this is a fine place if you're looking for a photogenic night out drinking with a group of friends. Could be really cute for brunch!

Charming patio, and beautiful intimate interior with just 4 seats at the gorgeous bar and about 6 small tables inside. The cocktail menu is seasonal, and this spring, many were tea infused. I had the Columbina with gin, jasmine tea pear verdita, boomsma and lemon, and my husband had the Jewel sazerac - both exquisite. We shared 5 small plates - the crawfish bread - crawfish inside a crispy, flaky croissant like bread - OMG deliciousness. Then the tufa crudo - so fresh and flavorful, the crab tartlets - fine, but not as good as the other dishes; excellent salad, and the broccolini in a housemade horseradish goat cheese sauce - wow; one of the best broccolini dishes we have had. The carrots looked amazing, too. What a treat!

The vibes were immaculate from the moment we walked through the outdoor patio! We were seated upstairs at a table for two and our server helpfully explained all the different parts of the menu. We weren't super hungry so we split a bunch of lighter bites and grabbed a handful of cocktails as well. Our favorites of the night were the crab tartlettes and the savory calas with snapper pastrami. The tuno crudo had fresh fish but it felt a bit overwhelmed by the other flavors, which were kind of one-note and heavy. The bread that came with it was overtoasted, but the foie gras parfait was excellent. We ended the night with the grapefruit sesame panna cotta. The flavors were surprising but they worked really well together. Would definitely come back for cocktails and light bites the next time we're in the city!

While the Sazerac wasn't invented here, this is arguably its most iconic home, a place where New Orleans cocktail history comes to life. I would use this version as your gold standard when dining out in New Orleans and looking for a perfect Sazerac. We enjoyed watching bartender Rachel craft each drink. Rye whiskey, Peychaud's Bitters, and sugar are stirred in a small pitcher with ice. The serving glass is chilled, then emptied, and finished with an absinthe rinse along the rim. The cocktail is strained into the glass and topped with a lemon peel. The atmosphere makes the experience even better. The murals, the history, and the energy of the room give it a sense of occasion that you do not get at most bars. The Apothecary was the cure. We grabbed seats mid bar and before we even finished settling in, there were waters waiting on the bar. That simple move already separated this place from the chaos outside. It's hospitality in its cleanest form: welcome in, take a breath, we got you. Inside is low light and old time apothecary mood, menus like a spellbook, but it's not gimmicky. The bartenders move like they've done the reps. Calm. Precise. No frantic showboating, no syrupy cover ups, no sloppy pours even with the parade energy banging on the door. We ordered two and they were both dead on. Alchemist Elixir: pea flower gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon. It shows up pale violet with an orchid on the rim and yes it's pretty, but it's also disciplined. Corpse Reviver #2: local gin, Lillet Blanc, Grand Marnier, absinthe, fresh lemon. Cold, crisp, citrus first, then the herbal edge and just enough absinthe to remind you what city you're in.
