    Charcuterie!

10/10! There's so much here to choose from. One stop shop for those looking to get a quick refresher. I would recommended grabbing a mountain valley water (glass bottled) from there on a hot day!

Great wine selection, great for a girls dinner. Eric provided excellent service. We'll be back for sure!

Le Bouchon Wine is a hidden gem in NOLA, offering an intimate and romantic experience. The cozy atmosphere, paired with the charm of live street music, sets the perfect mood for a relaxed evening. The staff, a single black lady, makes each order with such care and attention that it feels personal and heartfelt. You can grab a quick charcuterie board or a bottle of wine to enjoy on-site. The back seating area is especially inviting, while the front offers a great view of the lively streets. It was one of my favorite, brief yet memorable experiences in New Orleans--a perfect spot for a quiet escape.

Absolutely amazing and so relaxing! Eric was amazing and very accommodating! Will be stopping by again! The wine selection is top notch in the crescent city!

The server, Jason (I hope I'm remembering the name correctly - the gentleman that closed on 5/24), was phenomenal and the food was outstanding. Jason enhanced our experience, never once made us feel rushed, promoted our enjoyment of the establishment, and treated us with true professionalism even though we kept him late. The ambiance is super quaint and cozy. The courtyard is uber cute. The wine list is better than the typical. And all of the food was delicious. To be frank, New Orleans did not feed my soul but this restaurant will be a must stop if I ever come back. Kudos to the owner, chef, staff, and servers!! Had to use the bathroom here and it was a wrap and on to the next spot. Of course we tried the drinks, but it was a pretty basic bar, so nothing more to brag about there.

Needless to say, this wouldn't be suitable for anyone who isn't comfortable with that kind of artwork. This place advertises burlesque shows and "Shibari", however I did not see any of that during my visit. I do not dock points though because I'm certain there's a schedule that shows when these events occur. If you're interested in seeing one, best to make sure when they're taking place. There are security cameras all over the bar so this location can remain sex-positive and safe for guests. After ordering myself a drink, I chose to relax in their bright pink room with the large bean bag and teddy bear. This was my favorite spot for its light-hearted and playful atmosphere, although the room next to it was pretty exciting as well--with its black-and-white paintings of kinky exhibitionists. During my visit, I noticed that there was a collection of leftover glasses from previous guests. Since it was a slow Sunday night, I thought there would've been ample time for an employee to clean up that area beforehand. There was one barista that night, and while she was kind and made excellent cocktails, her voice was really low--making it difficult to hear her over the music. I'm glad the bar was empty, or else I may have not been able to hear her properly. Aside from those minor concerns with cleanliness and communication, I'd still say to give Fetiche Nola a shot if you're looking for a unique place to start off a long night of partying. The worn brick, detailed ironwork on walls and windows, and gold embellished ceiling tiles over the bar help give the interior a warm, castle like feel. I don't know of any other place where you can get an assortment of cocktails in a blood bag, which is their main gimmick. I opted for the sangria, which was very good. My husband ordered the Eggs Your Way, and I split the Vampire Breakfast Burger with a friend. His breakfast was good, though not great, as the biscuit and potatoes were a bit overdone. The burger was very good, as were the side of french fries. The only issue was that there was some sort of disconnect between the waitress and kitchen, and the burger didn't get to our table until everyone else in our large party had eaten. This is a great spot to visit and enjoy something unique. Seats fill up quickly, so plan ahead.

I wasn't trying to sneak into the bathroom. I wasn't trying to squat behind a plant. I was a PAYING CUSTOMER IN WAITING. The hostess told me I couldn't just get a drink at the bar. Okay. Fine. So I said, "No problem. Put me down for a table. I'll order food. I'll order drinks. I'll spend money. I just need to use the bathroom." NOPE. At this point my bladder was fighting for its life, so I offered to literally HAND THIS WOMAN $20 CASH TO LET ME PEE. $20. FOR A TOILET. SHE STILL SAID NO. I have never been so personally victimized by a bathroom in my entire life. Like girl, WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M GOING TO DO IN THERE? Steal the toilet? Perform an exorcism? I was willing to BUY A DRINK. I was willing to BUY FOOD. I was willing to SIT DOWN AND BECOME A FULL-FLEDGED CUSTOMER. I WAS WILLING TO PAY A TWENTY-DOLLAR TOILET TOLL. And somehow the answer was still NO PEE FOR YOU. At this point it stopped being about the bathroom and became a bizarre psychological experiment to see how badly a human being can need to pee before they simply start crying. And the funniest part? OUR GHOST TOUR GUIDE RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE. We actually came in excited to get a Vampire Bag. Instead, Vampire Cafe became the first place in NOLA to make me think, "You know what? Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. Our server and helpers were over quickly to drop off waters and greet us. I ended up ordered the salmon. With it being so early and only one or 2 other tables besides my friend and me, the food did take longer to come out than I expected it to. Both of us did thoroughly enjoy what we got. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing. We got there around 5:30p and had to leave by 7:15p so an almost 2 hours experience that probably could have been 1 hour.
