Stopped in after a show at the Smoothie King Center and they were busy but service was really great! It was late (on a Friday during lent) so they were out of the crudo but the popcorn was delicious and well worth $5. We had the ham sandwich with cheese added and it was delicious. The bread was super fresh and the flavors were perfect with the Tempranillo carafe we had. I appreciate that Pluck has ample seating both inside and in the courtyard. I won't take so long to return next time!

I was really looking forward to the food here because the vegetarian options were exactly the types of flavors I like, but I was unfortunately a bit disappointed by the food. It was honestly not good and I wouldn't recommend it. The mushroom dish was just bitter and not really filling. The goat cheese cavatelli was also very small, and the beet soubise just didn't go with the pasta. I'm sure their wines and other pairings are great, but I don't think the food is a good idea!

Stopped in to look around and grab some beverages to go with our takeout pizzas. They had a nice selection of wine and a few beers, including some chilled options in the refrigerator. Fun and cute food-themed gift items too.

Wonderful wine bar in CBD. Friendly service, unusual offerings, good price point, half pours on request, delicious bites to keep you able to explore more wines! Stretch seating areas provide a different mood. Will definitely return.

Really nice upscale casual wine bar that's open later than other restaurants, so great place to stop for late night food with chill vibes. So happy this place is close! Came in around 11 and their kitchen was still open, service was awesome from the moment we walked in. We were sat and had drinks within minutes. Ordered the crab toast and fish collar special. Great late night menu and the food was delicious. Also whatever special sauce they had on the side, I'm pretty sure I asked for two more. Really great selection of wine and the server was knowledgeable and helped guide me to something I really enjoyed. This place seems like a top choice for date night or dark vibey encounters. I'm fairly certain I'll end up here a couple of nights a month.

Excellent food, wine and service. The music is a bit off with the atmosphere - Lizzo doesn't really match the romantic vibe, but as I'm solo traveling, I don't really mind. Great place for dinner. I got the chicken and it was spot on. Highly recommend.

I walk in to a cute looking wine bar. I was walking alone since my friends wanted to get a foot massage. Thanks to yelp, I found this place. At first, I just wanted to look around and see what I can drink here. I was asked to pick a spot and chose the window. Tried 2 types of white wines and they were both lovely with good profiles. It was suggested to get an appetizer that was french white anchovies "Boquerones" and lemon served alongside a cute baguette. It was a true delight. I enjoyed my time sipping on wine having a little date to myself in NoLa. Perfect for a foodie, wine-lover, and a chill vibey aesthetic with a cute atmosphere place. The manager (probably/or owner) was very knowledgeable in suggestions that it made my adventure pallette accommodate such a treat. Great location for small intimate group settings, perfect for a date night, GNO!

Stumbled upon this intimate cool vibe wine bar walking during the day and bookmark to try it at night. The decor is modern and feels like a NYC spot. The wine list is curated with boutique wines and they also have a fun food menu that offers unique dishes. The staff is all very nice and they all work together as a team to serve the customers. My favorite food items on the menu were the : SMOKED YELLOWFIN TUNA SPREAD ON CROSTINI, $11 * excellent tasting Country Ham; House-Cured- on the charcuterie plate JAMBON BEURRE, $12 House-made pickles I was very impressed with the baguette they use for there gourmet sandwiches. It's pairs great with the wine. They ran out of a few main dishes so we didn't get to try any main plates. I would highly recommend this spot for a wine date or if you love wine.

Pluck wines is an nice upscale place to go with a small group of friends to sip tasty wines. I would recommend you come but eat before! The server was very knowledgeable about the wine selection.

I would even suggest going just dessert and wine. Great date night. Best ever! Pure heaven.. phenomenal!

If your looking for a true wine experience look no further. Small & intimate. Service was stellar. Food was excellent. Makes a great date night for wine lovers. Staff so knowledgeable.

    David B.

Incredibly vibrant staff in a well defined and decorated space, throttled only by server indecisiveness and uncomfortably hot temperatures through the front glass windows. The place is a true gem. The Owner, a pleasant soul. Our food was terrific. The service from a self-proclaimed "occasional staffer" was less than stellar and sullied the experience. We will try it again...perhaps when visiting New Orleans in the fall when the sparkle of the sun through the front glass panes is of a lesser intensity in mid-August.

Meh...is all I can say about this place. Stopped here before a concert last week with a friend. We ordered the watermelon salad, the ceviche, and the mushroom pasta dish. We each had a glass of still and sparkling rosé. The ceviche was not fresh, the fish was over cooked. The watermelon salad was mediocre. And the mushroom pasta dish was pretty good. Service was good. Just not sure I'd be back for that menu.

Rich, layered, and well-balanced with fresh elements that worked together on the plate. For entrées, we had a variety of cuts, including the Australian Wagyu, ribeye, butcher's cut, and lamb chops. The Wagyu stood out immediately. High quality, great sear, and finished tableside, which added to the overall experience without taking away from the food itself. Each steak was cooked precisely to temperature and full of flavor. The lamb chops paired with carrots and brussels were well executed and balanced. The sides complemented the meal well and did not feel like afterthoughts. You can also see their in-house dry aging setup, which speaks to the level of detail they put into their steak program. It shows in the final product. The drinks were solid across the board. The Old Fashioned and bourbon selections paired well with the meal and matched the food's quality. Service by Noelle was attentive and responsive throughout the night. Everything flowed well, and we were taken care of without feeling rushed or hovered over. This is not a casual dinner spot, but for a celebration or a night where you want a full experience, Doris Metropolitan absolutely delivers.

Overall, the experience was average and did not fully meet those expectations. The charcuterie and cheese board, priced at $68, was underwhelming in both portion size and value. It included only six thin slices of cured meat and a small selection of cheeses. Unfortunately, one of the cheeses had an unpleasant flavor that made it inedible for our table. The bread service was a highlight, offering a nice variety of breads and accompaniments. The ribeye was cooked well and enjoyable, but it did not stand out from what I've experienced at other upscale steakhouses. The five-cheese couscous was the biggest disappointment, as it lacked the rich, flavorful profile its description suggested. While the service and presentation were appreciated, the overall dining experience did not justify the high expectations or the price point.

This place advertises burlesque shows and "Shibari", however I did not see any of that during my visit. I do not dock points though because I'm certain there's a schedule that shows when these events occur. If you're interested in seeing one, best to make sure when they're taking place. There are security cameras all over the bar so this location can remain sex-positive and safe for guests. After ordering myself a drink, I chose to relax in their bright pink room with the large bean bag and teddy bear. This was my favorite spot for its light-hearted and playful atmosphere, although the room next to it was pretty exciting as well--with its black-and-white paintings of kinky exhibitionists. During my visit, I noticed that there was a collection of leftover glasses from previous guests. Since it was a slow Sunday night, I thought there would've been ample time for an employee to clean up that area beforehand. There was one barista that night, and while she was kind and made excellent cocktails, her voice was really low--making it difficult to hear her over the music. I'm glad the bar was empty, or else I may have not been able to hear her properly. Aside from those minor concerns with cleanliness and communication, I'd still say to give Fetiche Nola a shot if you're looking for a unique place to start off a long night of partying. The brick and iron work inside the restaurant was stunning, and the tables and settings helped the gothic vibe. The food menu has vegetarian options which are clearly marked, I ordered the veggie burger. It was stacked with two patties and marked with a V, an order of potato chips were served on the side. It was a generous plate and that had me at first bite, the food was delicious. Unfortunately they were out of their infamous blood bags, which both the hostess and server were kind enough to let us know. The upside to that is they have an excellent blood themed cocktail menu. I ordered the B+ whiskey cocktail, also called blood and sand, which probably gets its name from the demura sugar crystals that were sitting in the bottom of the martini glass. A lot of themed restaurants rely on the novelty and the food can end up being mediocre, but that was definitely not the case here. My husband ordered the pork chop with teriyaki sauce, and it was absolutely delicious--so much so that he talked about it for two days afterward. I had the burger with homemade chips, and both were outstanding. The chips were especially memorable; I honestly wish I knew how they made them because I'd love to have them again. The staff was just okay--not rude, but not especially warm or welcoming either. On the positive side, the prices were decent for the quality of food. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side.
