They had a super super cute girl covered in tattoos, very extraordinarily pretty, and she made it a five star visit. So she was hitting on me and took pictures of me (on my phone) even though it was raining right outside of her drive-thru window. The chicken sandwich was excellent (cajun chicken grilled, extra cajun) and I love how late they're open and it's close to the highway - so I couldn't really like this place any more than I do. Remember to always Rock Out with your Cook Out when you're in Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, and such. Not sure where Such is, but I think they have them there. Service ain't the best but i cant actually complain. My food is always correct, to a T, no matter how much i order and the prices are super affordable. Went to cookout at 1:43am to get food with my boyfriend after he got off work. As soon as we pull up to the drive through the lady had an attitude. While ordering she had asked if we wanted double Cajun fries and we corrected her and said we wanted double chicken quesadillas and she never repeated back the order or gave us our total. When we got up to the window the same women had the same attitude which I still tried to be nice and asked if she could repeat back our order just in case their was any confusion. She gave us the same attitude repeated back the order fast and threw the shake at me. It got all over me, my seats, floorboards, and dash. I said "you" and stopped talking trying to be nice and she said "I did what?". I didn't respond and she just closed the window came back with are food and remade the shakes and made sure to hand them to me. THEN asked for payment... I ordered the 2 corndog tray with 2 sides of chili cheese fries and a huge tea with light ice. My girls loved it all. I ordered the bbq sandwich tray with a side of cheese fries (they put chili on top) and a corn dog with the huge tea and light ice for my drink. The worst. This is the only way I can even begin to describe this place. They experience no shortages, no lack of workers, as they hire 50 at one time, and push everyone in the store to their limits and still fail to meet the minimum. I worked here for 3 months, they treat employees like trash, never let them work, and fail to have any respect for the customer. They use technology from 30+ years ago and they keep the prices low on their food by never spending it on anything much less their employeesI finished my last shift and never looked back when they tried to make a customer pay for dropped food when they failed to provide proper bagging. I paid instead as I was not going to make a customer go through that, finished my shift, and quit. They need to shape up or ship out. The cost was amazing. $1 for a hot dog. I think our entire bill for 3 people was under $10. Ordered 1 hot dog, a 5 piece nugget, a burger meal with a non sweet tea and fries. The hot dog and nuggets were consumed quickly and without complaint. The burger tasted like it came fresh off of a charcoal grill. So far, 4 stars! The not sweet tea was poured sweet. So we had to turn around. Annoying. They were pleasant about the exchange, but I was annoyed to have to turn left and left back through traffic to get back to correct their mistake. Also, the fries looked amazing. And they were hot! But they were not that great. I would go back because the prices are pretty incredible. Okay, call me crazy but I love this place. Raised in B'town and love my 'Q but now live in Florida. Every time we come up to visit family this has to be my first stop. A couple 'Q sandwiches, some hush puppies and a Cheerwine and I get back into that NC mindset. Really love this place or I wouldn't keep driving +700 miles to come back. Could use some better parking as it's tough to get out (but that's just because it stays busy). Don't change a thing! read more

I come here often due to living a few miles away. I've never been disappointed with this location. My complicated order is always correct, no matter what time of the day that I come. I will preface this with I love their food and that is the only reason I'm giving this a 2 star. After multiple times going through this specific location I'm sick of the employees. They don't get the order right and they forget things every single time. There are 1-2 decent employees but the rest are extremely rude and pushy. The last 4 times I've gone here they have forgot something. Once forgetting 4 items. I like their food but this location needs the remove some of the bad employees. Good road trip pit stop. This cook out location is right off 40. They have 2 lanes for drive through service, which made the line very short. We had 4 separate orders in our car. The staff was able to take the 4 orders very easily and accurately. There is no seating, bathrooms, or quesadillas at this location. Pretty good food and REALLY fast service. Love the cook out tray special and their milkshake selection. The food seemed kind of slapped together, but it was really fast so, it makes sense. You can't beat the prices here! read more

This cookout has gone down. Their service is terrible. My husband just got back from going to pick up food, and they were rushing him the entire time. They forgot to give him his drink, and luckily he noticed right after he pulled out of their driveway and had to turn around to come back. He then told them they forgot to give him his coke, and they gave him a sweet tea. No apology, just rude & rushing him. Please train your staff to be cordial to customers & to do their job correctly or fire the ones who are incompetent and get new staff. read more

I went to Cookout last night around 9pm in Graham, NC. Main Street!! I went to the side where the window was on driver's side. I ordered two chicken tender meals with spicy chicken sandwich meal, all with sweet teas. I get up there and I get one tender meal and one chicken sandwich meal. I told the girl (black curly hair up in bow. Around 30s) I stated I ordered two tender meals, not one. She got pissed off and yelled for my receipt. I stated I was not charged for it but thats what I ordered. She slammed the window and opened to tell me $10 which is more than chicken tender meal I just ordered. ( I wanted to do everything easy for her. I even stated I would park and walk to the window) by the time I paid and all she opens the window and swings the food at me. The tenders fly out of the box and shes still standing there holding it. Im looking at her and saying " my tenders just dropped on the ground" shes still standing there holding her arm out of the window not saying anything. I then proceeded to say, " I know you are frustrated. Your agitated and its written all over your face. You are taking it out on me and this mistake was NOT at all my fault, you all missed my order and I tried to make it easier on you but you had no reason at all to listen to anything I said. You instead are rushing me, irate of the situation to where you sling the food out and the tenders then slide out the crack of the box and on the ground. For awhile I was very disappointed with cookouts food. The chicken on the chicken sandwich's became very small with very little Cajun or hot sauce on it. The chicken tenders in the cajun wraps were the size of nuggets and customer service was awful. They were very rude and snippy. Now all of a sudden the past week everything has changed. The chicken is back up to the portion size it was a long time ago. The chicken tenders inside of the wraps were the size of actual tenders not nuggets. The customer service has significantly improved and management has too. Before if there was an issue management was rarely seen and if they were seen they couldn't care less. This past week management came to the window asking what I would like to do because the ice cream machine had froze. Something has changed in a positive way here and I'm very happy with whatever has happened. read more
