Liked that this was an option and easy to turn into. I ordered the Regular tray with the regular burger with everything except bacon. For my two sides I did onion rings and fries. The burger was really messy to eat! Everything kept sliding out. Besides that, everything was pretty decent, but being one of the few places that's open late this is a good option to get a good burger.

I stopped in here for a quick lunch since I was in Burlington to pick up Broasted Chicken and Pork BBQ from Hursey's. I ordered the Big Double described above, and it was quickly at the window. As usual, this was a good burger, though more cheese would be a nice move. I still find Cook Out to be among the more consistent chains, no small feat.

She later came back , got our table trash, and topped off our tea. Not many plans have that kind of service. The dining room is nice, clean, and bright. It's well worth your time to stop in if you like BBQ sandwiches.

I placed an online order, and as I was running around doing errands, had it for a later pickup. But as I was done earlier than expected, they didn't quite get my order, as it hadn't been released. But they were super nice about it, and looked for it in the queue to release it and fulfill the order. While I waited, they gave me a sample chicken tender - it was hot and delicious!! I would definitely order the chicken tenders again! The place does have seating, it's no frills, but looked clean and open. I ordered a variety of chicken pieces, along with a large box of potato wedges. I expected a small box, but I got a huge takeout styrofoam container of potato wedges - so a lot of potatoes - LOL! Definitely value there! I also ordered a side of coleslaw and mac & cheese. Both pretty good. Serving size wise, for me, it's enough for 3-4 people, if it's a large spoonful. For others it might be enough for 2 people. Depends on how much of the side you want. The chicken pieces were served hot, tasty and pretty large, like I can only imagine how large the chicken was! It was all very tasty, and the service for me was excellent! The fried chicken is more like a "spicy crunch", like KFC style seasoned version, and not like typical double fried chicken crunch you might experience elsewhere, but it was still very crunchy!! I really enjoyed the variety of sauces. We tried the hot sauce, Buffalo, sweet and sour, and BBQ versions, which were nice for dipping. All in all a very good experience!

Everything was presented well, tasted good, and despite it being later in the evening, nothing about the meal or experience felt rushed or like we were getting the "end of the night" version of anything from them. Our server, Ty, was excellent. Professional, attentive, friendly, and simply good at her job. She stayed on top of everything without being too much, made sure we had what we needed, and helped make the entire experience enjoyable, which meant a lot to her since this was my nephew's first time here. The one area I'd improve is addressing the front door host area. Last night we stood there a bit longer than necessary, waiting for a hostess, before my nephew noticed the sign next to the stand telling guests to find their own seats. Once we saw it, no problem whatsoever. We grabbed a booth and carried on. BUT even better, if there isn't someone dedicated to the hostess stand later in the evening, a quick "Welcome in! Feel free to grab a seat anywhere" from someone nearby or working the bar (about 10-12 feet away from the front door) would immediately make the experience feel more intentional and welcoming. That's a relatively small issue, but it's also the difference between a very good (5-star) experience and a slightly lower one. Overall, good food, great presentation, and excellent service from Ty. She represented Drake's extremely well and absolutely deserves the recognition.
