This review is a little late! I bought a 2012 Hyundai Elantra from Nik on December 30th 2014. The car was absolutely in a magical condition with just a little over 40k miles on it. The process of working with Nik was as smooth as butter. He was very kind to I and my father and worked with us to make a deal work without any hassle. Nik will treat you like family and only offer you the best! read more

We all fear being sold and/or snaked by a car/auto sales person, not this place!! Nic "uncle nik" is far from both! No pressure, honesty, and most of all confident about his business and his vehicles. I would recommend every first time buyers to give this place a look before searching else where. Not only is his service great, but the prices are great and most of these cars are flawless! Thank you Nik! You'll definitely see me again when it's time to upgrade! read more

Concord Auto 1 - Uncle Nic!! I want to thank you for the BEST service I have ever received at a dealership!! - Used Car Dealers Near Me - Concord, California

I normally don't write a lots of reviews but when I do it's either outstanding in the right direction or outstanding in the wrong direction . When it comes to shopping for a car you have to be aware of every single fees and be very good at negotiation, when I visited Concord Auto 1 on 3/14/20 I was not ready to buy a car I only went there to look at a Honda Accord they had in the lot, I was greeted by Nik and he made me feel so comfortable and made the price so fair that I felt if I don't buy this car I'm making the wrong decision. Nik is very fair, straight forward, right to the point and easy to deal with at Concord Auto 1. He made me change my perspective of car shopping. I ended up buying the Honda Accord and taking it home pain free. By dealing with Nik I feel like I gained a new friend with his personality, positive energy and great attitude . Thank you Concord Auto 1 and team specially Nik, I highly recommend Concord Auto 1 to all friends and family read more

I bought the car of my dreams- 2010 Toyota Corolla S totally loaded with sunroof, bluetooth, and in amazing condition. It had been well taken care of and had only 99k, which on a Toyota should last at least 300K. I have lived in NYC and SF for almost 7 years, so I haven't had a car in forever. I was scared to get a car, but for my new life in Santa Rosa doing Holistic Medicine it is necessary for me to have a good, reliable car to get around. Ervin and Nik took such good care of me and my father. They had amazing customer service, and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. They worked out a great deal for us to try to be in my price range, and even cut me a birthday special since my Birthday is tomorrow. I felt an instant friendship, and even got to share amazing stories from my work in Nicaragua with Ervin. I highly recommend doing business with Ervin and Nik. They are a great team, and really do offer the best deals in town on used cars. Plus, you make friends in the process. It was so much better than dealing with the typical dealerships! Look forward to working with them again in the future for any car needs! read more

This is the second vehicle I buy from this used auto dealership, it is one of the best places I have found to look for a preowned vehicle. The owner treats you like family, he is honest, fair in pricing and has good quality vehicles. He says " I'm not going to sell a vehicle you don't want or one that I wouldn't sell to one of my family members". He is very knowledgeable about cars and he will make every effort to find the right vehicle for you and within your budget. For him seeing the joy of someone finding the right vehicle puts a big smile in his face, he says: "this is what I love about my business" The relationship continues after the sale. I go to him for information for auto services, parts, and other auto related information. He has many contacts to connect you with to save you money. Check them out, they will go the extra mile for you! Carlos B. read more

Buying a used car can be an emotional and risky proposition. 'Used car lots' have a long standing stigma of being unsavory. I recommend Nik & Ervin of Concord Auto 1. I found them to have integrity and to be trustworthy, honest and straightforward in their dealings. They kept their word and delivered on their promises. They will make the entire process of buying a used car easy and fair. They can also advise you and direct you after the sale for things like alarm systems, window tinting and more. read more

Nik is a great guy and looks out for his people. The lot is mainly family owned and is just over a couple years old. They don't push anything on anyone. They only carry quality used cars, toyota, honda, etc. First time car buyers come here!!!!! I would do anything to ensure that this review helps them receive more business! They are Great! Where to begin. I stumbled upon concord auto 1 at the end of the day. After hours of car searching I figured eh why not give the little lot a shot. With a small lot came a lot of great things. Ignore the stigma about small car lots here. Leave all your car buying worries at their gate. I dealt with Nik. He approached us in a polite non-forceful way when we arrived and simply asked "how can we make you happy?" I had my eye on a civic. Now, keep in mind I'm exhausted and frustrated after driving from Vallejo to Hayward to see a car that turned out to be complete crap. This is my first car buying experience, I was pre-approved, low interest rate from a credit union based out of Texas. Out of the 15 or so car salesmen it spoke with that day , Nik was the kindest, and surprisingly the most honest. I undoubtably had a good feeling about him, and his small car lot. I test drove the car and I like it, Nik then wanted to talk some numbers, during this process he taught me so much about the used car market, which currently has a really low margin. He explained everything my credit union was going to do, better then the credit union itself explained. He took the time to explain to me, inform me and educate me on the car buying process. Now, the fun part. This was 3 weeks ago, and I still don't have the car completely in my possession. My bank has been so back and worth, tossing me every which way with the whole process. Nik was so patient and understanding and didn't hesitate to tell me when someone else was viewing the car. If I had an questions he was there to answer them. Luckily now that the process is almost over I am thankful for guys like him on small lots who simply only wanna make the money back they put into the car for less hen $500 profit but also leave the customer smiling and feeling good about having a newer car. I learned throughout my time that concord auto 1 makes the people their number one priority. They made what was such an emotional process for me much much easier. Nik use to work for large dealerships and I guess just decided he wanted a more honest business. Which is exactly what they provide. read more

First of all I want to say that before purchasing my wifes car from Nik, I had never heard of his dealership. Too many times friends or family do a positive review for a business. We stumbled onto Concord Auto 1 purely by accident and we were not even looking to buy a car. Driving buy we noticed some great looking cars and they had big sale price signs on the windows. It was the awesome sale prices and quality vehicles that brought us in. We pulled in and were encouraged to test drive the vehichle of our choice. We did and loved every car we drove! Nik (Ali) is quite a character and is the nicest person. He works hard to fit the person to the right car. We chose a 2003 Toyota Spyder! The Toyota is a first class used auto of extreme high quality. The car is our little dream car and is almost as awesome as Nik and crew! I would reccomend this dealership to anyone looking for a "quality" used car. Nik is a man of his word and strives to provide satisfaction to his customers. We will be back Nik! I happened to drive by Concord Auto and saw a car I loved. When I stopped, the owner, Ali showed me the car. But he also asked what I wanted in terms of features and dove deep into how I would use the car. He showed me a similar car ( I saw a BMW and he had a Mercedes) that had more of the features that I was looking for, less miles and actually cheaper!! He cared about my needs, not about selling a car. I have since been back to have him find a safe and reliable car for my son and he delivered again with a solid Honda Accord! Great financing options, great service, and I don't think they care about selling cars, I think they care about taking care of people, give them a look, if they don't have what you want, I bet they will find it! thx Ali and team!! read more

We have already bought two Toyota Corollas from Nik and Ervin! They are truly the most honest and trustworthy people that you can ever purchase a car from. Not only do they sell at great and reasonable prices, but they also make sure that the car you buy is worthwhile! Most importantly, they treat us like family. Nik and Ervin are super helpful, and they don't hesitate to throw in a few jokes here and there :) their 5 star rating is no joke! My family has a huge amount of respect for them, and we will surely come back if we are in need of another car. Skip the dealerships and stop by Concord Auto 1 first! read more

My experience with Concord Auto 1 was incredible. I start by saying I've financed and paid off a few cars in my lifetime. My first experience was with a major dealership in Vallejo. My second experience was with a large dealership in Brentwood. But my absolute best experience was the one I had yesterday with Nik at Concord Auto 1. Originally I was interested in a Hyundai Ioniq hybrid but I was not able to get financed at a good rate. Nik's name came up as a recommendation because he has been in the business for more than 30 years and he has been known to be fair, reasonable, honest, and a person who really cares about customer satisfaction. Although his space is small he has a wonderful selection of clean reliable automobiles. He sold me a very clean Toyota Camry hybrid. My experience was hassle free. Ted and the rest of the staff there are awesome too. The hospitality was great and like I mentioned earlier, the experience was better than anything over experienced when trying to purchase a car. Not to sound corny or cliche but I went in as a customer, but left as family. Nik is now my brother from another mother. I highly recommend Concord Auto 1 for your next vehicle purchase. Tell him Norm sent you. PS: Thank you Nik. You are the man! read more

The guys at Concord Auto 1 are hands down the best! Nik is the man when it comes to getting a good deal on a preowned car. One of the most honest car guys I have ever met. Nik will take care of you even after the sale is done, he will not leave you hanging. You are more than a customer and dollar signs to Nik, he's like the best friend you wish you had. I can't say enough good things about this place. The first and only time I've ever felt like a dealership is run by a family member who has my back! I first came to Nik about three years ago, looking to reluctantly trade my 2012 Honda CR-V in because I needed to start driving rideshare and felt my car was just too messy to be up to par. I'd been to a couple other places who gave me a disappointing trade-in value due to a couple of paint streaks on the outside. First thing he did was grab some exterior cleaner, wipe those streaks away, and say "there's some $$ added back to your value!" He then referred me to a great detailer and trustworthy mechanic, and suggested I get the car up to par for under $1000 as opposed to trading it in and taking on a huge loan. I took his advice and couldn't have been happier! (Side note: I've been loyal to his suggested mechanic and detailer ever since! Very happy with both.) I drove my CR-V into the ground. Now I am looking for a very specific kind of car (Prius V). He informed me of a fairly common issue with that particular model to watch out for, that it seems most dealers aren't aware of. He has been keeping an eye out for that vehicle on my behalf, while I've been looking online for any and all options since I need a car ASAP. I went to a couple other dealerships to test drive, and reached out to him for advice while there. He was quick, responsive, incredibly helpful and insightful. In fact, at the second dealership, he was trying to help me find a way to buy THEIR car, but with some kind of minimal warranty so he could take a look at it and see if it had the common issue, and I could return it if it did. I ended up walking because 1) they didn't have a good short term warranty and 2) how they were going to charge me for the California cancellation option is *illegal* (Nik suggested I ask about this, and when I told him what they were doing with it he warned me it was wrong). I absolutely, 100% trust him to give me good, solid information regardless of whether it makes a sale for himself. He is generous with his time and information, and really cares to see his people in good quality cars whether he sells it to them himself or not. I am still looking, but my highest hope is that I get to purchase from him. UPDATE: He took extra time out of his day to check out the car I ended up getting, carefully inspecting it and explaining to me what he could tell by looking at it, and ultimately assuring me it was a good buy. I leaned heavily on his expertise throughout my buying process, all the way to getting his stamp of approval on a vehicle he didn't sell me. I absolutely trust him when he says he just wants to see his people happy and in good quality cars. He will always be my number one recommendation to anyone looking to buy a used car in the Bay Area, by far, and the first person I'll go to the next time I'm in the market to buy. read more

Nik is an awesome guy and really cares about his customers. Buying a new car can be so extremely stressful. Nik spent most of his day helping me above and beyond in every way possible to get me the car that I wanted. He was patient, kind, considerate, and his sense of humor lightened the mood. I was referred here by two of my cousins who both purchased their cars here and I am so glad that they did! Give this place a chance before you go blowing your money at big dealerships who don't always care about what your wants and needs are. Thank you Nik! I will be referring all of my friends to you. read more

Me and my dad went car shopping earlier this week and this was the first used car dealership we went to. Thank god. I recommend this place to anyone buying a NICE used car. read more

I set up an appointment to come see the car two days in advanced. I arrive and the car wouldn't start (not a good sign) and then it was out of gas (gas light was on), but wait it gets better. I wanted to see if Nik could be straight up and honest with me, a man. I asked him if the previous owner had a dog in the car. Nik the owner of Concord Auto 1 says "I don't know, maybe". The car looked like it was the dogs cage. There were claw marks all over the arm rest and hair in every crevice of the interior. Nik had a micro-aggressive way of insulting me for wanting to buy a Subaru from him, apparently Subaru shoppers are a "different" kind of buyer. I was put off by his unprofessional style. If you want an honest car salesman who wants to sell cars and negotiate, avoid this place at all cost. And don't buy your Subaru from him, he thinks you are "different". read more

I went car shopping all over the place, first starting in Fremont where a good deal that seemed good actually turned out for the worst. It was good we didn't buy the car right away, because Nik here was so honest, genuine and blunt. He used to work for a few dealerships, so he knows the nooks and crannies of what you should do before buying a car. Nik is extremely well respected, especially by the local auto shops stating he was a pretty decent seller and honest man. Now at first it seems like he wanted to argue about taking a car for a pre-purchase inspection: Nik stopped us right there and told us that wasn't necessary. He told us all about how local shops would give you an answer you want to hear, but believe it or not every car at his lot is hand selected by Nik himself at auctions. While waiting for paper work, him and his family were so kind. They provided water almost every 30 minutes. We felt at home just working with him in the office. From Nik himself, you walk in a customer, you leave as part of the family, which in fact is true. Overall I absolutely recommend Concord Auto 1, straight-forward and such an honest business man, more honest than anyone you'll ever know. Skip the dealerships, Nik will give you the best deal on whatever car you're interested in his lot, regardless of the excellent condition his cars are all in. read more

Seriously, MY BOYFRIEND AND I ARE VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS!!! If you are currently in the market to buy a used car, I advise you to check this place! "Please!" Especially if they have the car that you've been looking for, chances are, you Will get it! For almost a month, my boyfriend and I have been looking day and night, at every dealership and every website possible to find the specific car that we've always wanted. Constantly, we were thrown in this emotional roller-coaster, at times thinking we've found our car, but then in the end, we find that the car was less to our expectations, we get turned down, or certain ppl at these dealerships try to take advantage of us. But this is NOT the case over here! Nik, the gentlemen who helped us, was extremely helpful and honest. We called on a Saturday in regards to a car they had. He told us to apply on their website so he can look over the info ASAP instead of us coming to the shop so we don't waste our time, as my boyfriend planned on financing. Because of not having good credit, Nik said to wait & call back Monday morning, as he informed us that though the bank may be open, he would need to talk to management b/c of our specific case. Again with the emotional roller-coaster, we initially thought this wasn't going to work. But come Monday morning, we called back to let Nik know that we were still interested & to please continue on with our process. We then showed up to the shop & Nik brought back faith into our souls. Every step that he took, he matriculated his every move in speaking to the bank to make sure we did get approved for financing, and provided options that would help lower the payment/interest. We could feel that he did this for the sake of us, his customers, to be happy, and not for the sake of him making money off of us. Being a first time buyer for a car, we are extremely glad that we came across this opportunity to finally find the car we've been searching for here at Concord Auto 1. Most importantly, we are extremely glad and pleased that Nik provided us with the best customer service by working together with us and our specific situation. Thanks again, Marc & Roxie, proud owners of an Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe read more

Yes, Definitely 5 stars all the way. Concord Auto 1 was actually recommended to us by the Concord Toyota people as CT they had nothing in our price range. Best recommendation ever. Ervin was our first contact and made the whole car shopping for young son a pleasant experience. We purchased a car about 3 weeks ago - then our son totaled it, before knowing it was a total we drove it to Concord Auto 1 with the engine smoking thinking it was an easy 'off the insurance' fix. Nope he insisted we go via the insurance as the engine was cracked. Not being safe to apparently drive Nik allowed us to leave it there until the insurance people came. 4 days later they came and Nik was there to show them the damage etc. He was fantastic. We are hoping to buy the replacement car there also as we have such confidence in their honesty and integrity. Nik and Ervin are the best - you truly are made to feel like family regardless if you purchase a car from them or not. Give them a try - you don't know what you are missing out on until you visit Concord Auto 1!! read more

I was in the market for a car but had some restrictions that every dealer was not willing to work with. So glad I found Nick and his crew at Concord Auto-1. Nick worked diligently to provide me with the car that I wanted with and also with adequate financing. He is patient, funny (he's hilarious) and very kind and does not give off the "sleazy car salesman" vibe. I really felt like Nick operated in my best interest and tried his best to make me feel comfortable with the process of buying a car, which can be pretty scary especially for a woman going in alone.
