5 Stars I had an outstanding experience at Direct Buy Motors. From the moment I walked in, the entire team was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right vehicle. A special thank you goes to Mo for providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire process. Mo took the time to understand my needs, budget, and preferences, and then presented several great options without ever making me feel pressured. His knowledge, honesty, and patience made the car-buying experience smooth and stress-free. What stood out the most was Mo's dedication to making sure I was completely comfortable with my decision. He carefully explained the features of each vehicle, answered all my questions, and helped me compare different options so I could make the best choice. His professionalism and attention to detail were truly impressive. The entire team at Direct Buy Motors made the paperwork process quick and easy, and they were transparent every step of the way. It's rare to find a dealership that combines great prices, excellent inventory, and outstanding customer service all in one place. If you're looking for a reliable vehicle and a dealership that genuinely cares about its customers, I highly recommend Direct Buy Motors. Be sure to ask for Mo--he will go above and beyond to help you find the perfect vehicle. Thank you, Mo and the entire Direct Buy Motors team, for making this one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. I will definitely recommend you to my family and friends and will gladly return for future purchases! read more

Here is a dealership that cares about their customers. They are quality. I chose them because they specialize in work vans. They only sell quality vans that they hand pick by the owner himself. Mo helped make the transaction great. Easy going, no pressure and confident in their work. I appreciate their patience while I got funding for my new Transit. For the best prices and quality, we recommend this dealership. We even drove 2 hours away to work with them because we trust in their business. Thank you Mo and staff for the great van. Bought a 2018 Ford F25 Contractor's truck in April, 2024. We had just started looking and it was the first place we went. Wanted to look around and went from Sacramento and Modesto to Livermore. Went back a week later and purchased the truck. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Mo was extremely professional, waited for us to check back and didn't push us. He went out of his way to assist. Couldn't be happier and now when I drive up in a commercial truck, customers are impressed and my business has taken off. read more

Best customer service!! Friendly! I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and fair priced all the trucks and vans were at Direct Buy Motors. Everything was nicely organized and arranged by vehicle type. They have variety of makes and Models like Ford Transit Connects, Transit 150, Transit 250, F150-F250, chevy Express and so on. The sales person Al was very honest telling me all the pros and cons of different vehicles and I felt no pressure dealing with him. The president of the company Matt was also very friendly and easy to talk to. He treated me like a friend. Matt was very helpful taking care of the financing process. I had great experience at this place and I will definitely comeback. If you're looking to purchase a commercial Van or pickup truck in the bay area this place is my #1 recommendation. read more

READ BEFORE PURCHASE, If you are looking to buy a vehicle here for personal use strongly do not recommend. These guys will try and get over on you. I had a bad experience with Mo. The first day we went to see the car we wanted he was nice obviously trying to make the sell. Since it was a Sunday, He insisted we sign for the car and the (Loan processing) will be later processed through there chosen bank preference. He pulled out a "contract" that had loan terms yet no loan was even finalized. Also I mentioned my credit union bank and he kept making excuses how their chosen bank is better. The next day I called him and said we changed our mind, (keeping in mind NO loan agreement was even settled to purchase vehicle) He quickly went from 100-0 with a high pitched voice and said "Do you know what a contract is you already signed one, you owe us the amount of the vehicle, don't you read contracts you sign." Instead of trying to make the situation work he went straight to "You signed a contract." Matt proceeds to tell us to come in and he will fix things. We went in and presented us other vehicle's and we still weren't satisfied most vehicles are extremely high mileage. Later on he states this is your last option and pulls out a truck from the back, which I though was weird they hide the "better" vehicles for specific individuals. I honestly thought this was presented to us as a final option because they just wanted close a deal with us. We proceeded in purchasing that vehicle the mileage was ok still not a satisfactory buy but at this point we were done mentally as well. We signed a "new" contract and went on. In the contract it stated an additional charge to them for DMV processing and he even reads it to you when signing. Till this day we still have NOT received the license plate and its been 5months. Sent an email to an email were they were quick to email me prior to purchasing vehicle and no response. This led me to right this review, I don't wish this experience on nobody. Sometimes its better to go to an actual dealership to avoid this type of crap read more

My team and I drove all the way down to San Jose to find a van that would work perfectly for our farmers markets. Abbas and his colleague were so helpful and patient with our million questions and on it with providing all the information we needed to make the right purchase. All their vehicles were in great condition. Abbas was so friendly and made the process of buying a vehicle easy and painless. Would definitely come here again and recommend it for anyone who wants to buy like-brand new used commercial vehicles! read more

They continue to trespass and take photos of vehicles on our private property after we asked them not to multiple times. I should mention this is also in a fire lane and blocking residents from their homes. Would not recommend this company based on this experience. read more

I want to trash these guys mercilessly but I would rather warn you that if you expect them to take care of something that they have promised you they would do, my experience is that they won't do it. Through absolutely no fault of my own, my title and registration were messed up because of a mistake they made. But that isn't the problem. Everyone makes mistakes. They asked me to write them a good review the day I bought the van. I do not write reviews until a transaction is finished. As a salesperson myself, I know that follow through is half the story. I bought the van in August '18. I never received the pink slip or registration through any effort of Direct Buy Motor. Call after call was made to the salesman, the money guy, the manager, I left at least 12 different messages on their answering machine. Each time (the times I got to speak with someone) I was told that someone would call me back or that they were working on it and that I should be patient. There never were any return phone calls. In order to demonstrate to me the nature of the problem, they sent me a text with a picture of the registration that was incorrectly filled out(which is the source of the 'problem'). My last call to them when I spoke with someone was in January '19. I was told the paperwork was on Matt's desk and that it could still take weeks to resolve, implying that the DMV and the banks were their only course of action. I was never mean or abusive. The glowing reviews here on Yelp are undoubtedly people who drove off the lot and didn't need any more from them. If however, Direct Buy Motor were to make a serious mistake in transacting your business and you need them to rectify the problem, DO NOT COUNT ON THEM TO DO SO, no matter what they tell you. It is March 2019 now and I still haven't heard from Matt or Mike or anyone from Direct Buy Motor. Buyer beware. The tags on my van had expired 3 months ago. I went to DMV and my bank and took care of it myself in the last two weeks. Steve Modifer read more

I am writing this review because finally I had a good experience in car buying. I went to Direct but motors to buy a truck for my business and I met with Matthew . He listened to my needs and suggested me not to spend too much on work truck and get lower priced one and save some money. It was great I got F150 2014 and I am very happy with my purchase and my installer loves his new truck. Thank you Matthew and thank you Direct Buy Motors . read more

What an amazing experience we had! My husband and I drove from Sacramento to San Jose to look at a vehicle for his business. From the moment we walked in, Abbas was so friendly and helpful. Mo and his associates were wonderful. I purchased a 2019 Ford Transit 250 Ecoboost Turbo. It had the extra features I was looking for; partition cage behind the seats, no windows in the back, side step on the side slider door and grab bars to help climb into the van. There are a lot of vans out there but none of them met my criteria like this van. I drove from Pittsburg to San Jose. I was willing to drive to Modesto, Merced, Elk Grove and Sacramento to purchase a van. After the test drive I knew this was the perfect van for me. The process was easy and like every time I purchased a vehicle it took a while, but I expected that. I would definitely purchase another van from them. If I could give them a higher rating, I would. Mo was wonderful, no pressure. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. Every aspect of my experience was great. My girlfriend and I were looking for a truck for me to drive as a second vehicle. They have a great selection of full size trucks of multiple makes and models. We settled on a beautiful GMC Sierra 2500HD, an SLE model. Matt offered us an amazing deal we couldn't pass up so we bought it. The process was fast and Glen made the experience very pleasant. Matt even offered me half of his lunch at one point! Really good people... I've never felt so disarmed and relaxed at a car dealership in my life. This place is truly great and provides wonderful customer service. WoW!!!!! Man these guys really know what they're doing. I drove by and noticed a 2011 Lexus IS250 pearl white parked on the lot, I went in and inquired about it. Matt helped me out and showed me the car, I feel in love and just had too have it. The only problem was my credit. Man I just wanted a chance to prove I can par this car off, Matt said " buddy the credit is hard to work with and the banks don't want to risk it". I was really sad bit understood and knew he tried. 3 days later Matt called me and told me to hurry and come talk too him. I raced down at 8pm and Matt was there, " my friend I tried and hustled as much as I could and I got you approved for the lexus", I was So happy and shocked. Matt really made it happen dispite my credit. As I was buying the car the finance manager Glen wrote it up but not only that he tried harder to get the payments down do I could buy a 80k warranty. I'm so glad Matt and Glen were there cause they made the impossible very possible. I wouldn't buy a car anywhere else. read more

Last December (2017) I was looking for a van for my business. Direct Buy has a great selection of vans and trucks. I purchased an E-250 from them in mid December 2017. Almost one month after the sale Glen wanted me to drive back from Oakland to sign a form he forgot to have me sign during the transaction. I asked him to mail it to me. I finally received the registration in the mail one week after the 90 day dealer registration expired. No license plate sticker was sent and I was driving on a 2017 sticker. I then started making weekly calls to Glen asking for the license plate sticker which he said was 'in the mail". It has been nearly five months since I purchased this vehicle from him and finally I went to the DMV and purchased the 2018 sticker on my own. These people cannot be trusted for their word. Once they have your money they are done with any comittment to you. Bad Business. read more

This place cannot be beat! Not just for trucks! I have been doing business with Matt for over 12 years now and my family of 6 have bought 10 cars from him. His kindness is sincere and never once did I ever get the impression he was trying to hustle me. My latest car was purchased 8/25/16 and I am ecstatic about it. I worked with both Matt and Glen for over a week on this and they diligently put in effort and energy to get a vehicle specific to my needs. The paperwork process was smooth and painless and Glen did an awesome job getting me a great warranty that was very affordable.
