He met me at my convenience in downtown Evanston, collected both units and returned them in 24 hours just as he said. The HP was my five year old steady friend but was running slow. Alex cleaned her up, backed up my critical files, worked out a Vista bug, and she has been running like new again. The Acer was a two year old refurbished impulse buy. Not sure what happened but it froze on start-up, would not reboot with the Tech Support answers from Acer. However, Alex got his wizardly little hands on my mini-me and hooked a sister up! Love it! Again, all backed up and secure. Welllll, as it would be I was boasting in my good success in finding the needle in the haystack of good efficient timely computer serviceman to my partner.
