My 15 year old son had built a gaming PC, but when he got a new computer part for his birthday and changed it out with the old part, the computer stopped working. Many days, tears, and YouTube videos later, my son was distraught and the computer was in pieces all over my dinner table. Try as he might, this computer was not going to work! I did not know what to do. I probably couldn't afford to hire a professional. Unfortunately, my son needed his computer for school work as well. Someone on Facebook shared the name and number for FireLogic. I was at a loss for what to do next, so with little hope for a resolution, I called. When I explained my problem, I was told I would get a callback. That is when things changed. Derrick, the owner of the company, literally took over my son's issue. He personally put the computer back, solved the problem, and walked my son through everything, so he would understand. The problem was bigger than anticipated, but he did not charge me for the extra time.I have never seen such patience and kindness. I mean he really took time to make sure my son knew everything he should do moving forward. Derrick was quick to offer updates as he was working on the computer. He remoted in to both my computers at the same time to see, test, diagnose, and adjust settings to success. He was knowledgeable and thorough in addressing my problems. The system was stuck in a recovery loop, BitLocker was triggered, and Windows wouldn't load or even reliably enter repair mode. Multiple shops I called said it would take several days just to diagnose the issue. Matt turned it around in essentially one day. He was able to manually access the system, unlock BitLocker, repair the corrupted boot configuration, rebuild the necessary Windows files, and get the machine fully operational again -- without wiping my data. That was critical, as I had local files that weren't backed up to the cloud. When you hire Prodigy, you are hiring them for the service and knowledge and not their pricing. From my first consultation with Paco, it has been nothing but smooth sailing. Later the same day, Billy came over to take a look at it. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He ran a diagnostic at my place and my harddrive was fried. So he took my laptop and external hd to try to get the data from it. Unfortunately, it was fried pretty badly, but they work with another company that specializes in data recovery. I had my important data backed up already, so i decided to get a new computer all together bc i compromised on the original one that fried out. Figured i would just get the one i really wanted. They recycled the old computer and returned my external hd the same day i made the decision. Throughout the process, i was completely informed of their progress via email. If i wanted to replace my hd and recover windows, i wouldve gladly given them my business.
