My laptop died and while most of my files were backed up in a cloud I had one very importand family history file that I thought I had lost. Jonathan was able to extract the hard drive and after several attempts, he recovered my file. He went above and beyond to get this important file for me. The cost was reasonable and the communication with Jonathan and Lisa was excellent. read more

My laptop was having keyboard issues (including a broken spacebar) after 6 years of my mistreatment. I selected CCA because of their perfect 5/5 ratings. Great choice. Dealing with Lisa and Jonathan was a pleasure. After examining my machine, they said I needed a whole new keyboard. In addition I got pictures of the inside, showing a lot of dust and dirt. Since they had to order a new keyboard, they returned my machine and gave my a plug-in board to use in the meantime. When the board came in, I returned the machine for repair, which was done the next day. I thought the price was reasonable for the repair and cleaning. My laptop now seems brand new. Their office is a little hole-in-the-wall on Vernon St., just off of Rte. 9. Easy to miss. read more

I highly recommend Computer Care Associates if you're having problems with your computer. They are extremely fair, reasonably priced and very pleasant to work with. I brought a computer to them that was very sluggish booting up and they ran scans and diagnostics on it and got it booting up in less than a minute compared to almost 3 minutes before I brought it in. They treat their customers like friends! read more

Jonathan and Lisa at Computer Care Associates did an excellent job correcting issues I had with my laptop. They provided a detailed, written estimate, explained the uncertainties, and what I could expect. They encountered a few unexpected issues, resolved them, and still stood by their estimate. They communicated well throughout and I would definitely call them again should a need arise. read more

I have had a stripped screw on my chrome book for over 2 weeks now. I already bought a new battery, as I thought that it would be a piece of cake to replace. Well, in the end, the battery was a piece of cake to change, but, trying to get that last screw out was beyond excruciatingly hard!!!! I tried the "Geek Squad" at Best Buy, and they were anything but helpful. And then I found Computer Care Associates, and not only did they help me in a very prompt fashion, they also took the screw out for me as a "good will" gesture. Lisa, who I spoke with quite a few times, is absolutely a doll. Please, if any one out there needs help with any computer issue, this is definitely the place to go. I wish I could give so many more stars!!!!! Thank you so much CCA for everything!!! read more

I love small local businesses and these guys are so nice and helpful. My laptop was not working properly and not only did they give me great directions over the phone to their location, they sat down and went through how to use my laptop, how to make it run better and ordered more memory to make it turbo charged. Generous with time, competent and super nice. They even offered me hot cocoa! Excellent customer service and low prices. Avoid the big stores! Support local business! read more

I can't say enough good things about Jonathan and Lisa and Computer Care Associates of Framingham. They do a great job. They make house calls. I love these folks! Last week I discovered I had a very serious virus that was recording all my passwords and social security number. That's another story for another day, but I want to thank Jon and Lisa at Computer Care Associates for not only restoring my computer, but my peace of mind too. They really got me out of a jam and made a loyal customer of me. Jon is not only a brilliant computer guy, but he is very forthcoming about what one actually needs and should do to be computer-functional and yet he never made me feel like the computer-ignorant grandma that I really am. And he and Lisa are just plain nice people, local people, who you will love dealing with. read more

Lisa and Jonathan were very patient with me. Not only did I bring my laptop to them for rescue once, but twice! (Human error on my part -- I promise I will not install my own software upgrades again -- scout's honor.) It was easy and painless -- very affordable for my wallet. I didn't feel stupid or intimidated as I have in the big chain stores because they spoke to me in like normal people not in big "technical terms." They can work with anyone, tech savvy or not, I'm proof! Thanks again! (and again) read more

Both my wife and I are local self-employed CPA's that needed help with our computer situations. Jonathan and Lisa came through big time for us by getting our old computers to run faster and more efficiently. I also had them help me purchase and install a new computer in my office that will make my work load much easier. They were up front about the cost (very reasonable) and it was worth every penny! I would highly recommend them. read more

I can't say enough good things about Jon and Lisa! They've helped me and my husband whenever we have questions, or when I do dumb things- would you believe I ran over my laptop?-- They just fix the situation efficiently and affordably. They never make me feel dumb and they're patient in explaining what I need to know. We'll never bring our computers to anyone else! read more

Computer Care Assocates fixed several of our home computers and one of our office computers. They made all of our computers run faster and got rid of viruses that Norton 360 couldn't. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that has computer problems and to those people that don't have all the time in the world to research fixes for themselves- I tried that and was bombarded with scams, identity theft, and more viruses. Let someone that knows what they are doing fix it right the first time so you can go on with your life. Thanks! Lisa. read more

So I opened my jewelry store 1.5 years ago and had a certain computer set up in mind. I wanted my cash wrap computer to network with my main computer. Of course, I had no idea how to do this or if it was even possible. But with this vision I contacted Lisa and Jonathon regarding this networking issue. Once I explained it to them the first thing they said and what I love to hear is "No Problem!"! So they came to my business spent a few hours networking my computers. Not only were they thorough, professional and extremely patient with all my questions, they explained everything to me so I knew exactly what I was doing by the time they left. Apparently what I requested was not an easy task but if anyone could do the job I felt completely sure they could. The gave me an invoice for 1/2 of what I was expecting to pay. I called them a few times after the installation because I got a bit lost with procedure. They answered my call and if not, returned my call within minutes.I really feel they care about their customers and feel the pain when they know someone is out of commission with their computers. They genuinely care and are awesome at what they do! read more
