Can't recommend Dave at D.A. Computer enough. This was my second time having him service my computer and left happy both times. Dave is very personable, prompt and accessible. I was in and out both visits within 24 hours. The first time he worked with me and troubleshot my BSOD. Ordered some parts online and within a day was back up and running my new, freshly installed CPU, Mobo, and memory. More recently- my machine was still running an RTX 2070 super and I was lucky enough to snag a new 5070 card on Newegg. Figured I might as well go ahead and upgrade my SSD storage if I was going to be bringing it in and having the GPU installed. Ultimately have a brand new rig with all updated components installed at D.A. computers at a completely reasonable price. I really went in with something quite simple but in the end, I'm floored with their help and customer service and cheap prices! My partner had an old hard drive well over 10 years old with about 1-2T of music, used on an old pc. Now, she has a mac and iPhone. We attempted to merge the music with iTunes on the mac but it would not recognize the music. We brought it to apple who were also baffled as macs are supposed to recognize the data and convert it. They decided perhaps something was corrupt and blocking the transfer of data. About 3-4 different people at apple tried to figure out what was wrong. They decided to try and make a copy of the whole drive, delete the old one and then see if the computer would recognize the new copy. 1. I was terrified of deleting the data if the copy didn't work and 2. It was so much info the computer couldn't complete the copy process before the store closed. We attempted to go home with instructions on how to continue the process but of course something went wrong and we couldn't fix it. Fast forward - I googled for reviews on local IT services and found these guys. I called and spoke to Mike for about 20 minutes over the phone about the above situation and what I was trying to do. Additionally, this was to be a surprise holiday gift so I needed the work done ideally in 4-5 days. They don't deal with mac's as much but have a specialist/IT guy who does (I think his name is Derek). Anyway, I brought it in late on a Tuesday and had it back by Saturday morning. Apparently there were formatting issues and software things wrong with the old hard drive and the IT guy updated/tweeked and somewhere re-structured the old hard drive and then transferred the data to my new Mac formatted hard drive. All for $89! Holy Cow. They were so nice and friendly and helpful. All future business is going to these guys! read more

This was my second visit to this store and they are absolutely superb! In both cases I was first helped by the associate, Mike who his extremely affable and patient as I explained the problem. The first time he walked me through the problem and since it was just a diagnosis he did not charge me anything, despite a respectable amount of time invested. My second visit was more complex, and both Mike and the owner, Dave , really took the time on the problem and helped solve a computer problem that was vexing me for a long time. Then they went the extra mile, really cleaned up the system, scanned for malware and even organized my cables. The final price was considerably lower than what I expected !
