This place wasn't terrible but It seemed poorly run and unprofessional. I was given an estimate of five days for my repair but I didn't hear any thing from the store by the seventh day. I called and it went right to voicemail that wasn't identified with the store so that seemed unprofessional. Then I stopped in and they told me it would take an extra five days. But I picked it up it seemed well done but the whole experience was not great. read more

This was the second computer repair place I tried. I gave up on the first place after finding, twice, that they did not stay open for their full, posted business hours. Next, I was going to try this place, since they had Saturday hours, which is practically a necessity for people like myself, who work full time. Since it is a bit out of the way for me, I figured I'd better call first to make sure they were there. Their posted hours state they are open at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. I called at 10:00, no answer, but I realized that our clocks may be a bit out of synch, so I gave it a few minutes and called back at 10:05 a.m. Still no answer. Now, I don't know about you, but my time is limited, and therefore, valuable - ESPECIALLY on a Saturday. I don't have time to wait by the phone, re-dialing them every 5 or 10 minutes, to see if they pick up. But what really clinched my decision to cross this place off my list was an earlier review by Sean K., from 2/18/2014. Sean stated he went there on a Saturday, at their stated opening time, and even waited 20 minutes for someone to open the store, before he gave up and went to a competitor down the road. Yes, Sean, I totally agree: opening up your business on time (and answering your phone) should be a priority. (Addendum: After I wrote and posted this review, I saw under the tips section of this business, that a Yelper named Alyssa wrote, seven months ago, that she had a similar experience as Sean. She arrived there at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday, when they are supposed to open, and waited at least 30 minutes for them to open up. Dropped my sons Xbox off last week on Friday. The lady working said they'd call us the next day with an estimate. They never called. So Monday we called and they still hadn't looked at it. Tuesday comes and the lady called me at 3pm and says that the tech is working on it and that it doesn't look as though they can fix it. She then said she will call me at the end of the day, after the tech is done looking at it with a final answer. My husband went to the store at 345 to speak with the tech and NO ONE else was there but this lady. There is no back of the store. He demanded to see our Xbox and she would not show it to him she kept saying it was " taken apart" yet no one else was there working on any electronics and our Xbox was no where to be seen. He asked for it and just said he'll take it as is and she still refused. She then said he could come back at 5 and it would be out back together. So your telling me a tech is going to magically appear out of thin air and put back together our Xbox within the next hour? I don't think so. I think this place is a absolute scam. I'm pretty sure no one even looked at the Xbox and they just kept our 40 bucks for the diagnostic. There was no tech working on our Xbox today! They really think we're that stupid? Avoid this place at all cost. They aren't there to help you, they are straight liars!!! Will be contacting the BBB for a refund for a "diagnostic" that was completed by this invisible tech. Hopefully they can figure out what's really going on at this joke of a place. read more

Recently, my desktop computer was frozen on an error page I'd never seen before. I spent hours on my iPad researching how to fix it, but nothing worked. I finally unplugged everything and brought the CPU to PC Tech. My husband and I had been there before and were very pleased with the results. The techs there were sympathetic and wonderful. I picked up my computer a short while ago--they walked me through everything they had done and coached me with ways to preserve its life. Though my computer is already seven years old, they predicted that, with proper care, it could easily last another two years. I am vey pleased with the service I received. read more

In my research found this recently opened place close to her house. I'd walked in a Jon received me with a smile, explained him my situation and he said he will have it check out the same day! Had a laptop with a start up repair loop, I restored it after a day or 2 of fighting with it, then shortly after I got the "blue screen of death" and I finally gave up. This place was close to me so i called them first. Decided I needed a new hard drive with windows 10 (currently had windows 7). They quoted me $180 for the hard drive and windows 10 install, they might've been able to fix it same day but I was going to work and wouldn't be able to pick it up until the next day. The next day came and my computer was ready! They salvaged files from the old hard drive and didn't charge me more. They did it for a reasonable price which they quoted up front and finished it when they say they would. Much appreciated! read more

Dropped in today to see if they could replace an I-phone screen with a hairline crack. Mildred took one look at the phone and told me I brought the phone in just in time. Basically, she told me to forget the barely noticeable crack; the bigger issue was with the battery; it was "puffy-looking" and could have exploded. Within 15 minutes, the battery was replaced, and the price was very reasonable. Mildred was so helpful and professional; she took time to explain the problem with the battery and did NOT push me to replace the screen. I was so pleased with the quality of service, the reasonable pricing, and the speed with which the service was completed, that I will return! read more

I went to Best Buy before I came here. Best Buy was trying to charge me $150 for the diagnostics then they said I'd be roughly spending about $300 in addition just to fix everything (hard drive and all). With school starting the next week I was in a panic. It was ridiculous and they were unsure if they could even fix it. After deliberating for an hour if I wanted to go through with those prices my friend texted me to bring my computer to this place. And let's just say, I'm super glad I did. They finished my computer within four days (right before school) which I was ecstatic about because I really needed it. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and accommodating. When I went to pick it up it only came out to be $85 (with a new hard drive & diagnostic done) AND they updated Microsoft Word for me. I will not take my computer anywhere else now! I brought my husband's tablet in recently to have the cracked screen replaced. As it was not an expensive tablet, the price to replace the screen was close to what he had paid but not quite, so we went ahead with the repair. I was told it would take a while since they did not have the part in stock. When I hadn't heard anything by the end of the time frame that he quoted, I stopped in. He gave me another date that it would be ready. I received a call a couple of days early that it was ready to pick up. The tablet is as good as new. I had to wait longer but I'm happy with the service. I won't hesitate to go back if/when I have a problem with a computer or electronic since they are right around the corner. read more

I inadvertently spilled a cup of water on my Mac laptop, dried it off as best I could, and continued to use it until it needed to be recharged. Unable to recharge, so I brought it to PC-Tec on a Friday afternoon. On Monday, I received a call that it had been repaired. When I went to pick up my laptop, the owner took the time to show me pictures of the damage and what he had to do to repair it. I thought the repair charge of $175 was reasonable, and the owner called 3 times over the next few days to make sure I wasn't having any problems. I highly recommend PC-Tec to everyone! read more

I brought my daughters iPad in to see if there was any hope to get her broken screen fixed since it was in pretty bad shape . They took my iPad and said they might have to order the part since it was for a older generation of the iPad . It took about less than a week for the part to come in and and they installed it that day and I was able to pick it up within a hour . The staff was very very courteous And kind and they knew what they were doing . The iPad looks literally brand new and I still can't believe how well of a job they did on it .
