Took my turntable in for a simple wire soldering on the cartridge. Cautioned them to be careful. Took 4 days. Soldering work was mediocre, but worse they damaged / destroyed my $250 stylus. I had a 75" LG from Costco which started misbehaving only 3 or 4 months after I bought it, and LG directed me to Commbridge for servicing. Right from the start, Latha was a great communicator. She did some preliminary diagnostics remotely, determined the issue, and ordered the required parts. She kept me up to date on the part status and gave me lots of lead time on the arrival and on when we could get the servicing done. She also gave me the option of bringing the TV in or having the servicing done onsite at my place. Parts took a week or so, and she texted me to schedule the work as soon as they came in. Ultimately, the TV was too big to fit in the car, and so she and another tech drove almost 2 hours to get the work done onsite, on a Sunday no less. The team was great; on time, friendly, and professional throughout. They had the TV disemboweled and fixed in short order, and put everything back in place including testing signal and internet. I own a 2017 LG OLED 9500. The HDMI ports were broken. The TV Quality has been excellent as well as their 800 Service for questions. I had purchased this TV from VIDEO ONLY in San Mateo during a Super Bowl Special that the Store was offering. The Price was way below Amazon or Costco. Typical of Video Only. BUT... they do not service what they sell. Enter Commbridge Electronics.... I contacted LG who suggested two repair centers; one in Hayward and one in San Mateo. I called each of them and the price for repair was about 500 out the door. I was discussing this with my Friend Ira, Bedroom Express in San Bruno. Ira referred me to one of his very customers; Latha Natarajan who is the owner of Commbridge Electronics. I called Commbridge and spoke to Latha who gave me a very reasonable figure well under the aforementioned two businesses. I brought my TV in and they examined the ports and said that they would replace the main board which included the ports. The CASH Deal was $389.00 and in three hours, they received the new part and installed it THAT DAY. I couldn't believe the fast service and Latha, an Indian Beauty with a pleasant demeanor and her Tech Team did a great job. I even tipped her 10.00 because I didn't expect it to be done so quickly. Commbridge Electronics tried to repair my Optoma Projector. They originally diagnosed the issue as a Lamp Repair, however after replacing the Lamp the projector worked at the shop. When I went home to set it up, the original problem presented itself once again, the lamp would light up but the screen would not display any video. After bringing it back for them to review it once more, they could not figure out the source of the issue with the projector so they refunded me all my money. 5 stars because they refunded me in full after not being able to fix the issue with my projector. This repair center is one of the worst. Will take take your money as a "deposit". You will have to call just to ask if they have fixed the problem on your unit or item. Overpriced. Garmin was going to replace our dog's tracking collar but it would take 8 weeks! My husband found Commbridge and the tech fixed it in one day. Our 60" LG plasma TV broke. There was a popping noise, the screen went black and the sound went out. I called Commbridge and explained the situation to Latha over the phone. She diagnosed the problem immediately. Shortly thereafter, Latha and Moe came to my place, helped me dismount the TV and brought it back to their store. Within 3 hours, the problem was fixed and they returned with the TV and helped set it back up. This is top notch service! Where do I start? I called after hours and they answered. Said they could pick up my 63" Samsung Plasma within 20 minutes. It just went out and even th standby light was on, it would not turn on with remote or on the TV itself. That was Thursday. This a terrible company! They are extremely disrespectful and rude! I highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs! They are very unprofessional, I had an appointment to have my tv repaired for between 8am and 12pm, nobody ever showed up or called. When I called them to find out what was going on I got told they would call me back and hung up on me, then when they finally called back I find out they "don't have the part" and won't be able to fix my tv. Honestly I'm astounded. We had a work TV turn dark from LG. LG sent them out to fix the TV since it was in warranty. A replacement TV panel was sent and sat in our office for weeks. I had to call to make another appointment. The appointment was made. They were 2 and a half hours late. Then the lady gets here and asks me to help her disassemble and reassemble the TV! The power supply board in my Samsung smart TV blew, so we had no power (or Netflix!). Latha searched for a replacement board for my older TV, finding one that ended up being no good, but, ultimately, finding another one that was a good working board. Understanding that we had been unable to watch our TV for a couple of weeks, once she got the board, she and Moe rushed over to replace it. They were friendly and professional. They were careful not to damage anything near the TV as they removed and returned the TV on and off the wall for the repair. Pricing for the board and labor was at a fair price. My Samsung TV began to be infected with those white spots that multiply until you either get a new TV or fix the spotty one. This seems to be a common problem with Samsung. Commbridge repaired our 6-year-old Panasonic plasma TV in October of 2017 (replaced SC board). Total for pickup, repair, and delivery was $405.75. They were prompt, courteous, and had a quick turnaround, but they were pretty amateurish when it came to hooking up the repaired TV. They should work on that. Our plasma TV now works fine, and having it repaired beats buying a new OLED, which apparently have a lot of problems. read more

Upon upgradIng my Comcast modem, I was unable to print wirelessly from my iPads, laptop or iPhone as I have for years. I emailed COMMBRIDGE late at night and was surprised to receive a quick reply. Recently, Sunny had quickly repaired my 65" Sony OLED TV having been sent by Geek Squad so I had already received excellent service from COMMBRIDGE. Sunny came the next day and tirelessly worked to restore wireless printing; however, after many hours and numerous work arounds, it was to no avail. A basic incompatibility issue between a 21st century modem and a 20th century printer. I had just purchased a great many ink cartridges for this Lexmark printer so I didn't want to replace it just yet in spite of the fact that I have never been happy with it. Sunny came up with a great solution. Add a second printer to my network and when I have used up the ink, I could then decide either to keep it or chuck it. So, Sunny made a quick trip to Best Buy, purchased an HP printer, came and installed it and now I have the choice of printing from my laptop on the old printer in my office upstairs or printing wirelessly on the new HP from anywhere else in my house. Sunny is very skilled in all sorts of electronics so he's not limited to TVs and printers. GREAT SERVICE, SOLUTION AND A LOVELY GENTLEMAN TO WORK WITH. Rare to find this type of excellent service these days. Spoke to BestBuy last night (Sep 7) about tv not turning on. They scheduled a repair with commbridge for Sep 9, but Latha called to see if they could come by today (Sep 8). Texted me when they were on their way with ETA. They came with spare parts, and she and Moe were super quick and efficient. Fixed the wall-mounted TV and were on their way in ~45 minutes. This place is amazing! Our Panasonic 65" plasma TV from 2012 (with the impossible-to-replace 3D feature) got a crack in the screen and would not turn on. We thought all was lost and we would have to buy a new expensive TV with no way to be able to view our large collection of 3D Blu-Rays. I called three repair places, all highly rated on Yelp, and only Commbridge was able to come through with the replacement parts needed. They picked up the tv from our house, put it in their van, took it to their shop, performed the repair, returned it to our house, and put it back on the wall mount, all within a day. After we paid for the service, we noticed one remaining issue (a hard-to-spot line in the image), and they came back to our house and fixed this for no additional charge. I cannot recommend this place enough if you have to repair a TV! The only thing to be aware of is they accept cash or check only, no credit cards. read more

Our large screen TV stopped working just as the COVID-19 pandemic required us to stay at home...not a good time to lose our communication with the outside world! I was unable to bring the TV to a repair shop myself and wondered who I could find that would pick it up and repair it during a nationwide shutdown. Fortunately, I called Commbridge, based on their positive YELP reviews. I wasn't disappointed. A woman from the company came to our complex, picked up the defective TV, and dropped off a loaner. Three days later, she delivered my repaired TV and picked up the loaner. The price was decent, about $300. Considering the quality of my TV, I was willing to pay that rather than buying a new one, which in itself would have been difficult while we were sheltering in place. I had the worst customer service experience at this place. I had called the day before to see if I could fix my Panasonic Viera that had suddenly went dark, the gentleman that I spoke with on the phone was great, accessed the situation said he could probably fix and to bring it in. So the next morning I hauled my tv to this place, I arrived at 9:15am and it was closed, it's supposed to be open at 9am. So I called the number to see what was going on and I spoke to a lady who said whoever was there probably went to go get coffee and should be right back. Ok, so I was already late to work I figured what's 5 more minutes, so within 5 minutes an older man from within the store open the door. So, I proceeded to tell him that I spoke to him on the phone and that he had told me to bring my tv, which he rudely said it wasn't him that I spoke to. Ok, fine my fault, but I said I spoke to someone that worked there. He just kind of stood in front of the door, so I asked if the were open, which he said yes again with attitude, which at this point I had already was starting to feel like I was I wasn't welcome there. So after asking if he was open, I said it seems like your not, so should I leave my tv? He rudely replied, it was his problem if it seemed like it wasn't. At that point, I was so upset that I had hauled my tv and wasted time, being late to work that I just told him forget it, I'll take my business elsewhere and left.
