So......I drove the bf's truck and did something terrible...I crashed it! It was pure tragedy! Thank goodness Collision Works was there to rescue me. This facility is large and very clean. The staff are efficient, courteous, and friendly. They responded to all of my concerns quickly and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Devin was extremely helpful and patient and Diana was always helpful in following up with the insurance company. They are an A plus team! The truck was completed sooner than the targeted date which is another plus. When he saw his truck, he was impressed with the great job they did. NO! I had some insurance work done in my car back in 2007. Last year, the clearcoat that they applied started to chip and fade. Since I had the work done, I had moved away from the area. On a trip back down to Long Beach, I took my car in to inform them of this issue. They did see the fact that the chipping and fading was not normal and claimed that this was a "warranty issue." I am not sure why this happened, but the rest of my car was just fine -- only the area of the car that they worked on. They agreed to repaint the car. I had to negotiate a bit, since I live 6 hours north of Long Beach. When my car was returned to me, the work was complete, but the car was not clean. Further, someone had broken my auto light-level system and I had to have my dealer fix it. I sent them a bill and after 3 months (and a number of phone calls), received my money back. Also, the inside of my door was taken off and not put back on correctly and I was told to "just pop it back in place." Unfortunately, it doesn't do that. I am just so disappointed with the work that they did and the poor service with respect to the issues that I discovered after I returned. I am tempted to contact my insurance (who referred me originally to their shop) to inform them of the issues that I had in hopes that they will take this shop off their list of places to recommend. I really hate leaving such negative reviews on a company, but I also feel that future customers need to also hear some honest feedback on their work and service. read more

I had a side mirror that got bumped off on my camaro and they were able to fix ASAP and compared to the original estimate I paid 50% less than expected because they were able to save my original glass which totally made my day! If needed I would definitely go again for a repair. read more

Firstly, Devin is super awesome. He's got you covered. Checking in with the status of the repairs and making the estimate. Always available to talk to with any questions or concerns you may have. The guy is genuine and when you're talking with him, you don't feel like you're being gypped. Unlike those other shops. Within a week and a half, I had my car back. LIKE NEW. I mean like brand spankin' new! Don't know who exactly their mechanics are, but they sure did their work. It's clear that they are doing it well, considering all the awards and recognitions their mechanics received. You can find all this on the walls of the lobby. Lastly, what I really admired was their customer service and how much they value their customers. They really want to give you nothing but the best service and it's clear that they really value their customers. My car got keyed (benefits of living in the Shore I suppose) and it spanned the entire driver's side. We have used collision works twice in the past year, and have received outstanding professional service both times. The first time was last year when our car was rear-ended and we learned about collision works from our insurance company. They gave a prompt estimate and fixed the car on schedule, kept us informed of progress and options, and did a a superb job. Yesterday, a bicyclist rammed into my front fender, impacting ability to open front door. Took it in for an estimate this morning. Devon saw me right away. In just a few minutes he diagnosed and fixed the dent in the fender and the door function has been totally restored, at no charge. Total rip off. I took my car here and they fixed alot of the damage but wanted to tell me they needed to do more to it to get it 100. Took it to another mechanic and he told me that the part they suggested is not even broken it's something they didnt add to the bumper that's making the noise so he put rubber bushing in and that was it. And buffed my paint but more like sanded it since I had swirls everywhere from them buffing too hard and damaging my paint. Never go here read more

I couldn't see where they made the repairs and I really did try to look. Devin (estimator) was incredible from beginning to end. He worked with me as if I was his number one customer. He insured me he handled all the requests of my insurance from start to end with a turn-around time of when I would get my car back. When I went to retrieve my car, I felt like I was picking up my baby (car) from a spa. It was all new and sparkling clean. This will be my 3rd time here @ Collission Works. This last time a lady rear ended me as I was waiting at a traffic light, thankfully no one else got hit. It was a pretty hard hit, I was able to drive my car here. The minute I walked in, Alan, was so helpful, took all my info, told me not to worry that everything was going to be fixed like new (my car is a lease/2yrd). Anyway, few days passed, I started dealing with this awesome guy Devin, he was incredible!! Called me with updates, told me my car was going to take a few weeks or so which I was fine and ok with I wasn't in a rush. Fast forward to 40+ days, Deven, called to let me know my car was ready, ahhhh I was so happy the car looked just like they promised "NEW"! They did an AMAZING JOB kudos to the team. I have to mentioned as well that, a wk or so ago when it rained, I noticed the light on the back (left side) it seemed like the water was going through. I called the shop, Alan asked me to come down, I did. He checked it and said "don't worry, we'll take care of it. I will call you when the light gets here so we can install it". There are usually only two reasons why someone uses a repair facility. 1. Auto accident 2. Mechanical failure I unfortunately had the displeasure of an auto accident. This repair facility was recommended to me by the other insurance company that was taking care of the damage to my vehicle. Of course, I was really nervous because I'm not familiar with any place in Long Beach. I did some research and obviously it shows that this repair facility has some high reviews. I cannot be more impressed. I worked with Alan at this repair facility, and he completely took care of every single question or any type of need that I requested. he contacted me right away to get me into the shop for repairs. He gave me clear instructions on what to do and what to look for and what would be happening. It took about a day and a half to fix my vehicle and I'm very very pleased with the outcome. it looks brand new like nothing happened to it , which is exactly how it should be. It's strenuous enough to go through a car accident, but to have to deal with it alone would be even worse. I used to work for an auto insurance company and know how the process works. This is my first time leaving a survey or review in my life, but the following reasons below are why I'm leaving this review. 1. They put the emblems back on the car incorrectly. 2. I was told my parking sensors were aftermarket so they couldn't be reinstalled. This was ok with me as long as the car was not built with them originally. However, they didn't secure the wiring properly and when I pulled up to work I had a string of about 4 ft of wires dragging from underneath my bumper that are now zip tied on. 3. They didn't replace the factory clear bra in front of the rear wheel wells. These areas are now scratched from debris flying up and hitting the area repeatedly. read more

I had an initial conversation with an estimate and then had to keep calling to get information on my car. I am sure that they are busy and I'm actually not sure about what the protocols are for keeping a customer in the know.
