I have found my new mechanic!!!!! This place is wonderful. Carlos was so communicative and sent videos of all issues so I knew exactly what was going on with the car. They called to give me a full report of what they found when doing the inspection and gave me the estimated costs and possible extra charges if they ran into potential issues associated with the kind of fix they were doing. Luckily they did not have to do the extras! The prices were absolutely fair (I did research on the issue and what they charged me was in line with the average cost of the service). Service was quick and my car is running perfectly now. And the biggest thing for me - a long time ago I had to get a very quick fix for a broken side view mirror. The mechanic (not Elite, a mechanic in Philly) installed the mechanics of the power control the wrong way and so the controls did the opposite of what I wanted (moving the knob up turned the mirror left, moving the knob left turned the mirror down, etc.). When I got in my car to drive home I adjusted my mirrors and the team FIXED THIS ISSUE FOR ME! They didn't mention it and they didn't charge me. I'm sure it was a super quick and simple fix on their end, but the fact that they noticed this, took the initiative to fix it, and didn't even take the credit for it - so cool. read more

Carlos and his team went above and beyond when working on my 4x4 pickup truck. Not only did they address the issues I came in for, but they also went the extra mile by fixing a problem with my rear light that was staying on. They replaced the foot pedal sensor, which was causing the issue, without me even asking. On top of that, they checked all my fluids and ensured that the tire PSI was correct. Carlos was also kind enough to provide me with detailed instructions on how to operate certain functionalities of my 4x4 at my request. When I later had trouble accessing my truck with my key (which wasn't their fault), I brought it back, and they quickly helped me out by using some WD-40--all at no extra charge, even though they were busy. Throughout the process, Carlos kept the lines of communication open, and it was clear he wasn't out to scam me like ACA Automotive had done in the past. He genuinely cared about the issues I was facing and made me feel like I was in good hands. He mentioned he believes in karma--what goes around comes around--and it shows in his work ethic. My mother's car started making an awful noise early afternoon today, and it was clear something was wrong and the car needed to be looked at. At the end of the work day, my father took her car to this auto shop and the team was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond (after 4pm) to look at the car to help us out, despite having another dozen cars to work on and a heavy workload. They diagnosed the issue and fixed it within an hour, allowing my mother to have her car the following day for work. The fact that they genuinely did not want to leave us in a bind and took on more work to prioritize fixing her toyota matrix without charging us an arm and a leg is unheard of. I took my vehicle to Elite auto repair in December 2023 to get an estimate on damages and repair work. After going to a couple different places for an estimate I decided they were going to be the best fit for my engine work. I dropped the vehicle off at the beginning of December 2023 with a quote of two weeks after the parts were received. The parts were received in January 2024 at the beginning of the month so my estimate was at the job would be done mid January. this shop fails to follow up with their people after giving an estimated time they do not follow up. I followed up numerous times and at the end of January they told me that the engine replacement work was complete and I needed more parts. the vehicle to to be drivable. I gave them numerous cards over $2000 not including the $10,000 of engine replacement. At the end of February, February, it was my final straw when the shop once again was asking for more parts. I am a single female who looked to the shop for Honest work. After the numerous times of asking for parts, I finally asked a my dad for some help as I did not feel comfortable continuously giving them parts this time they were asking for a new radiator and the job they were doing had nothing to do with the front of the vehicle it was the side. After contacting the shop with my dad at this point is asking them what is wrong? They informed him that the dealership would not programs the new engine at this point my dad very upset told them that this is not our responsibility that this is the responsibility of the shop to get the engine programmed. They finally took the vehicle to the dealership and they informed us that they installed the engine incorrectly. at this point, I am frustrated and I contact the shop owner Heidi. Heidi was little to no help and did not understand my frustration on the situation where I have been four months without a vehicle after the job they took on said it would only take two weeks, they did not offer me any temporary vehicle or any assistance in this time failed to find a resolutions. I at this point told Heidi I would not be wanting their shop to finish the job and they need to take it to the dealership. The dealership agreed to fix the work for a lower cost, and Heidi had the audacity of trying to charge me that cost when they failed to do it correctly the first time. after five months of waiting for my vehicle, I finally did get my vehicle back and I paid the full amount to the shop to release my vehicle. They did not give me any discounts. They charge me over $12,000 worth and honestly headache, heartache, and financial hardship. I contacted the BBB who did not help me whatsoever. If I can give this shop zero stars I would. I think for everything that I did and how calm I was for the first three months and trusting them with my vehicle I should've been treated with way more respect and understanding on the situation. I do take responsibility for choosing this out of convenience, but as a single Mother, I had no choice but to make action with my only vehicle needing work. I feel as a woman I was taking advantage of, and would love to warn anyone to not go to the shop. I am disappointed in the customer service, the service and management. The dealership ended up helping me more than they did and I should've gone to them to begin with. read more

ELITE COMPLETE AUTO is not ELITE AUTO. This is a new ownership business. I have been taking my vehicles to Burton for a few years and thought they were a true blessing to have in the neighborhood. several months ago I dropped my car off for an oil change as I usually do (drop the car off and leave). Something was different, I mentioned it looked different inside and was not greeted by Burton. Once I picked my car up I did notice a price difference (increase) for service, not a big deal I thought. I came back recently and noticed there were so many more ppl working there and mentioned again that it seemed different than before but they brushed it off. I was quoted for a ton of work that felt unnecessary (approx $5k), I did not have any work done cause it didn't need it and something was off. I didn't have a bad experience but I do feel slighted by the fact they are operating under a similar name. Elite was a reliable trustworthy mechanic and though I'm not saying Elite Complete is not trustworthy but, because they are using the name and everything from previous owner and not mentioning the change I do feel slighted, their methods and prices are not the same so I just want to warn anyone who's been a long time customer, like me, that these are not the same ppl so proceed with caution, ask questions and good luck. read more

Notice, in photo, these are coolant spots on my driveway Jan., 2020. Car was 2000 Audi a4 1.8t, and running fine and fluids were all kept up as were all repairs required during 4 yrs I owned it. That's when I asked elite auto to see if they could fix the problem. They tried to repair vehicle but opened up a big can of worms that elite couldn't fix, such as: 1. Temp sensor improperly installed, 2. Shop rep, Burton, said transmission wasn't drivable for road test...claiming fluid didn't show at inspection port. *Note, I had car towed to Ruben'sTransmission shop with total rebuild job -- $2000!! *Note, I never saw tranny leaks on driveway. But, on Aug, 2018, I did have Ruben's replaced broken flywheel unit and proper fluid level was good. 3. I returned the car to elite the next day, however, I did notice coolant leakages had reappeared on my driveway while pulling out and check engine light was on. 4. Elite found 4 trouble codes, while waiting for the sensor part to arrive. Burton said to drive the wheels off it. So I used the car for doctor's appointment in Harbor City. The car got there ok, but failed to return back to the shop, and towed it there. They couldn't run the car once the sensor part installed, or after tinkering with it, again, and again, period!!! Burton washed elite's hands of it. Junk it, unfixable, he said! I had it towed outta there, never to return, a very dissatisfied customer to say the least!!! My advice, neither should anyone else. read more
