Clay also took time to go over the repair process so I had a better understanding of how long the repair would take. Prior to scheduling the repairs, Angie texted me the information on Enterprise Rental. When I returned for the repairs, Clay checked me in and made sure I retrieved any personal belongings I would need. They also sent periodic text updates during the process. Our vehicle was repaired ahead of schedule, and the team made it look like new again. Specifically, I was pleasantly surprised that Clay also had the headlights polished. This is my first experience with Craftsman and I'm honestly not sure how to feel. On one hand, the finished product looks absolutely immaculate. I would never be able to tell that someone hit my car, dented it, and scratched it while parked. But on the other hand, I was expecting to get my vehicle back within, I would say, 3 to 5 days, and ended up getting delayed by a little over 2 weeks. Luckily, I'm in a position where I freelance and work from home, so that wasn't too much of an issue, although it still was with errands and such. But a lot of people need to commute, and 2 weeks is a long time to pay for a rental car. I decided against that since even with a discount, it would still be a lot for a rental. So just keep in mind that they do good work, but I do feel that it was quite slow, most likely because, unfortunately, it's a mega service center for insurance companies, so a lot of people get referred here, and so there's a lot of people in the queue in front of you. That said, considering how many people were in the queue in front of me when they were finished with my car, I was impressed with the attention to detail. I didn't feel like I was skimmed over for probably the next 10 people next in the queue. Funnily enough, while this is happening, and other family member's car had an issue where the air conditioning broke. They took it into Pet Boys and got it back faster than I got my car back, but were much less satisfied with the service than I was with Craftsman. So another thing is, as long as the part is still being made, I have a lifetime warranty on the parts and service and paint and everything that was conducted. So that's huge. It almost makes it worth the 2-week wait. I just would have appreciated a bit better communication on why the delays were happening rather than, hey, it looks like it's going to be delayed. Is it delayed because there's a lot of people in front of me? Is it delayed because they're waiting on a part to ship? Because there was multiple delays, and although there's not really much I can do about that, I think you should give the customer a more detailed response explaining why an error has occurred rather than just saying there was an error. The error being the delay. So just know that Craftsman will do a great job, but you might be waiting half a month for your vehicle back. read more

I got rear-ended in December. First accident I've ever been in. :-( Although it wasn't too bad, and could have been worse, it's still a bummer (and a hassle); but it was bad enough that the whole bumper needed to be replaced. This place was great and made things easy! When I called my insurance (Costco Auto) to report it they recommended two shops near me and I just randomly selected this one. Once the insurance did whatever they did on their end I very quickly received a call from them to bring it in for an estimate. Angie the front desk lady was wonderful and very sweet. Scheduling was super easy and painless. The work didn't take terribly long at all. When I picked it up it looked great AND my pearl white paint matched perfectly!! When I got home and we looked at it a bit closer we did see something that was "off". I called them back to let them know. They told me to bring it back in and they would make it right. I had such a great experience with Craftsman. We were hit and our car was not drivable. The first place our insurance sent the tow truck to didn't feel right. They didn't seem organized and honestly felt like a mediocre body shop. I quickly searched for other shops that my insurance would approve and found Craftsman with great reviews. When I came in they were overloaded with work (which is was good sign to me). They weren't sure how they could fit me in, but Angie at the front desk worked hard to make it happen. The detail and cleanliness of my car was superb especially since we dropped it off in such a horrible condition. The only thing was they did lose my plastic floor mats but replaced them. They also happened to rip off my older child's pillow head rest. I am assuming by accident. It wasn't a big deal because it was $2.00 from Daiso. After getting on the freeway my hood starts vibrating really bad, I immediately slow down and pull over safely, I get out of my car and I could pull the hood up to the safety latch. After Craftsman did whatever to fix my fog lights the hood was down but left unlatched. So I open it all the way and shut it tightly. And made sure it clicked into place. I imagine anyone who reads this might think I'm making this stuff up but I have not had a good experience at all at this place, these guys must have really hated that I came back. I really hope that I never have to return here. Update: The fog lights were fixed, they were not connected after the work had been done. Update: I have to take the car back in yet again, the fog lights are not working now. Update: Thank you for the effort and support on this repair, the car looks great, very helpful. Craftsman took my vehicle back in and adjusted the bumper, it's was very frustrating at first but they made sure to address all my concerns. Update: Front fender is flaring out, bumper was not assembled on properly, a piece on the same side had already fallen off, had to snap it back into place. I like the original work but now I'm not sure. I'll probably get the standard "we don't cover that" story. Recently brought my car here for repairs after an accident. The minute I walked in the door they knew who I was and instantly provided amazing service. Very quick and professional.
