I got rear-ended in December. First accident I've ever been in. :-( Although it wasn't too bad, and could have been worse, it's still a bummer (and a hassle); but it was bad enough that the whole bumper needed to be replaced. This place was great and made things easy! When I called my insurance (Costco Auto) to report it they recommended two shops near me and I just randomly selected this one. Once the insurance did whatever they did on their end I very quickly received a call from them to bring it in for an estimate. Angie the front desk lady was wonderful and very sweet. Scheduling was super easy and painless. The work didn't take terribly long at all. When I picked it up it looked great AND my pearl white paint matched perfectly!! When I got home and we looked at it a bit closer we did see something that was "off". I called them back to let them know. They told me to bring it back in and they would make it right. I had such a great experience with Craftsman. We were hit and our car was not drivable. The first place our insurance sent the tow truck to didn't feel right. They didn't seem organized and honestly felt like a mediocre body shop. I quickly searched for other shops that my insurance would approve and found Craftsman with great reviews. When I came in they were overloaded with work (which is was good sign to me). They weren't sure how they could fit me in, but Angie at the front desk worked hard to make it happen. She was so helpful. Claudia and Josh were great to work with as well. They kept me informed on what was happening, and did an excellent job with the repairs. The car was pretty massively damaged and you can't even tell where we were hit. Above and beyond all the way around. My car was rear ended 1/13/23. Craftsman Collision was one of the shops listed by my insurance carrier. They are very polite, responsive, accommodating, and quick! The detail and cleanliness of my car was superb especially since we dropped it off in such a horrible condition. The only thing was they did lose my plastic floor mats but replaced them. They also happened to rip off my older child's pillow head rest. I am assuming by accident. It wasn't a big deal because it was $2.00 from Daiso. Melanie contacted me promptly and despite submitting multiple pictures for a quote, asked me to bring my vehicle in before she could quote me a price for the work that was needed. Their hours due to Covid were listed as "8-5pm" which I had told her that I could not bring in my vehicle because I work 8-5pm in downtown LA. She asked me to leave work early and even if I arrived shortly after 5, I would be seen for the scheduled appointment. The company texted me THREE times today to "confirm appointment". As the posted picture shows, I arrived at the time I said I would at approximately 5:10 to see all the employees getting in their vehicles and driving away. They do not do virtual appointments, have lack of concern with customer needs, and although Melanie appeared customer oriented in the beginning, she is not and can't be trusted. After getting on the freeway my hood starts vibrating really bad, I immediately slow down and pull over safely, I get out of my car and I could pull the hood up to the safety latch. After Craftsman did whatever to fix my fog lights the hood was down but left unlatched. So I open it all the way and shut it tightly. And made sure it clicked into place. I imagine anyone who reads this might think I'm making this stuff up but I have not had a good experience at all at this place, these guys must have really hated that I came back. I really hope that I never have to return here. Update: The fog lights were fixed, they were not connected after the work had been done. Update: I have to take the car back in yet again, the fog lights are not working now. Update: Thank you for the effort and support on this repair, the car looks great, very helpful. Craftsman took my vehicle back in and adjusted the bumper, it's was very frustrating at first but they made sure to address all my concerns. Update: Front fender is flaring out, bumper was not assembled on properly, a piece on the same side had already fallen off, had to snap it back into place. I like the original work but now I'm not sure. I'll probably get the standard "we don't cover that" story. Recently brought my car here for repairs after an accident. The minute I walked in the door they knew who I was and instantly provided amazing service. Very quick and professional. The facilities and shop were very clean and organized, very impressed and comfortable leaving my vehicle. Throughout the entire process they communicated everything.
