    Vegetarian quiche, Pain Swiss
    Elias G.

Small place in the South End, fairly empty. Not that much in stock. We called ahead because the website explicitly said to do so, but that was unnecessary and instead seemed to confuse the folks working there. The pastries and quiche were all pretty good. The croissant was buttery and flakey, and the Pain Swiss was creamy and rich. We also got a Croque Monsieur, which was quite disappointing. They're pre-made and sit out, and warming it up didn't really help (nor did it make it very warm). I would not recommend it. If you're in the mood for a sweet, stop by. Earlier seems better since they don't stock a lot.

Was here on a Saturday morning and ordered the pain Suisse and tomato ricotta pastry to share. There were tables indoors and outdoors and a good amount of staff for as many people as there were that day. Both pastries were great!

I went in early and paid for 2 sandwiches so I would be guaranteed a great lunch for us .

I really can't tell you what's the best out of all these but they have a great variety of fresh pastries.

    Buche de Noel

Beautiful bakery! I preordered a chocolate buche de Noel and it's beautiful. Easy pick up. They had a chocolate and mango option- 2 different options every year. Friendly service with a smile. I also picked up some small buche de Noel versions ($9) to share with friends. And I couldn't pass up the eclair. Will definitely pick up some bread next time. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Street parking.

The departure of this bakery space's previous tenant was a tragedy, but Colette's presence is such a joy! They have a wide variety of pastries and breads, and they also serve coffee and tea. There's a number of small tables along the wall, as well as seats by the windows. I came on a Saturday around 8am and it was already buzzing with people. The servers are friendly as well. I got a Kouing Amann, a Pecan Paris Brest, and an Iced Chai Latte, while my friend got a Quiche Lorraine and a Cappuccino. I thoroughly enjoyed all of my treats and would definitely come back.

    Canele perfection.
    Heidi L.

Just a happenstance encounter with Colette Bakery on way home from a hard day with my little one also requesting some pampering. Mommy merely needed the toilet but the courteous staff who very obviously spoke French recommended the Canele caramelized to perfection. My caloric intake drill sargent said no, my angry child desiring nourishment huffed yes. Glad my weaker side won out. So moist and crème like on the inside.. crusty like brûlée on the exterior. Such a little thing, but so satisfying. My nine yr old doesn't quite understand the concept of "savoring each bite" quite yet, but within the eight seconds before his chocolate croissant was decimated into speckles of crackle remains, I took a sigh from the aroma of my blueberry hibiscus tea, releasing my resentment for selecting the non caffeinated option. I don't think Yelp is what it used to be, which is why I don't review until given a substantial reason. Here's a gem bakery you might find worth your while regardless of your level of exhaustion/need for mini respite.

Amazing lattes, always fresh pastries, very cute and clean inside and they work super fast so the wait is never too long. I just wish they were open all week days because they're my go-to before work.

Came Saturday 8am and was even more impressed with the selection and vibes! So happy to have this in the neighborhood for a lil treat. Prices are standard and not outrageous while quality is still top notch.

Hibiscus Blueberry Tea, Pepper Quiche, Flamenkuche
    Salma S.

I really enjoyed my experience at Colette Bakery. I had their pepper quiche and hibiscus blueberry tea - the quiche was so creamy and delicious, and the tea was great too. The bakery itself is so beautiful - the decor is so aesthetic, and the seating area is so cute. I really love that I got my tea in an elegant mug - it added to the chic vibe of the place. Also, the variety of pastries is amazing, and they all look so fresh - I wanted to try everything! And the prices are so good as well, which is a major plus. I know that I'll be returning to Colette soon to try their other pastries - I really like it and would 100% recommend it!

The new location is where the old Cafe Madeleine used to be on Columbus. It's a small space but the decor is cute and there are a few little tables if you want to sit there. They have pastries, desserts quiches, cookies and breads plus they have a coffee bar. The staff was friendly and I thought the prices were really reasonable compared to other cafes and bakeries.

I had ordered for pickup for a designated time, however finished my meetings sooner than expected and so arrived there around an hour early and asked if they could prepare the food at that time and they very kindly did. It was a 15-20 minute wait but that was totally fine! The space is cozy and quite crowded as always. Like that they added the extra doorway for winter to keep the inside warm. I ordered the chicken & vegetable soup - I think Tatte's version might be my favorite chicken soup - it's just right with the mix of tender chicken, veggies and has white beans- mild flavors- yummy!! I want to try and recreate it at home one day. The chicken pita sandwich is another favorite- really hearty with plenty of chicken and love the cucumbers and tomatoes and the sauce - perfect! I also ordered the salmon dish with the seasonal veggies- the crust was so crispy - it felt like the skin but didn't look like it very curious! Lots of food - had enough for leftovers for another lunch!!

The meal options are all on laminated pages instead of on a big board, but they did have a lot of good options. We started with regular drip coffee which was ready quickly and we could sweeten to our liking. We tried the house breakfast which was two eggs any style (got them fluffy and scrambled), crispy bacon, cheesy potato fritters with tomato jam (similar to ketchup), and sourdough bread (we asked for butter) it was all very filling and some nice spins on a traditional breakfast. The bakery selection is out of this world - from breakfast pastries to delicately crafted desserts. The cinnamon and pecan rose was just like the center of a cinnamon bun, which was fantastic. It was big enough for two people to indulge without overdoing it. There weren't a lot of outlets, so not ideal for long term laptop use, but the food came quickly, it wasn't too loud even with a ton of people coming in and out. The prices were reasonable, and everything tasted amazing.

There is a wide variety all with great offerings, and a few snack and drink places and a bar. It is a very nice and huge facility, so stylish. The ambiance is great. Unfortunately there is a not a clear online menu that is up to date with all the restaurants and their individual menus on the main Time Out Market website. You have to go into each restaurant and look at their online ordering POS to get to the menu. It was hard to decide what to eat because I could not look at all the options all at once, i had to walk around and look at the individual restaurant menus one at a time. I ended up choosing the Italian food place POE-lenta. I had a very tasty Creamy Chicken Rigatoni. It came with spicy crushed red pepper and grilled lemon as well. It was a good choice and was enjoyable. I did not finish all the chicken but it was pretty good. I also ordered a very yummy mocktail from the bar. I got a Coco Pom, which the bartender described as kind of a pina colada without the rum and with a pomegranate twist. It was really good, I drank it all. They also have convenient cups and a water tap to fill your water by the the two bars. The restroom was huge and very nice, but the stalls are so dark inside, the lighting was so dim I could not really see anything. I think the building should really work on those light levels. There was some appearance of construction ongoing in the hallway to the restrooms. Time Out is a great place to stop and spend some time, with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Maybe it would be better iced but since it's cold outside I wanted something hot. The girl who took my order and made my latte was very nice and very kind. She had a really good vibe coming off her which I love. Five stars for her! So the mocha gets 3 stars, the girl who helped me gets five stars. I may get a cookie to go but haven't decided if I wanna spend $5.75 plus tax on a cookie. The mocha was $5.25 plus tax alone. And the cookies really aren't as big as people say they are. They do look good but I'm not sure if I wanna spend that much on a single cookie. Maybe I'll come back another day. Edit to say I did go back for a cookie.
