On a very hot summer day, the shaded patio was a very pleasant place to sit. The RR going by was just a fun interruption to our conversation. There was live music - show tunes and the like, well played BUT, unfortunately, it was so loud that it was more an annoyance than an asset. So loud that even though we were outdoors it made relaxed, calm, conversation impossible. The restaurant is very proud of the music and it's a nice idea so I am sorry to say I will only go back on days when the musicians are not there. Sunday, I believe. Food was fine for the type of restaurant, the service was friendly and attentive, and we were surprised how quickly the long line of people waiting for tables moved - A sign of good management. read more

I have eaten here twice. The first time the food was "ok" and the service was good. We dined outside -- that and a beer was enough to cause me to overlook my "ok" sandwich with frozen fries. I just figured they were having a bad day. The second time I dined here I ordered something completely different and it was still just "ok". Same pre-made fries. What sealed the deal for me was our waitress who was perfunctory and rude. She even gave me attitude after I made a comment to my friend about dirty appetizer dishes being left on our table for roughly 15 minutes. Ironically, she was nowhere to be found when the comment was made. Her excuse? She was busy with a large party. Then she directed a snide remark at me. After this, the service she provided me was atrocious. The quality of the food and dated menu in no way make up for the lousy service, attitude, and contempt directed at me for the nerve of asking for a dirty plate to he taken off my table. Had lunch here today and will never be back. Not only did we wait almost an hour from the time we sat down until the food finally arrived, the two pear salads that we ordered had slimy pieces in the spring mix. The manager agreed to replace them, but insisted that the greens had come from a brand new bag that he had gone through himself. He asserted that the slimy appearance was just wilted lettuce from the hot salmon that had been placed on top. We waited another 15-20 minutes for the new salads to arrive (without salmon I might add). Attached to my first forkful was yet another slimy piece of lettuce. At that point I put my fork down, showed our waitress (who was very apologetic) and asked for the check. To our shock and surprise, the bill included $44 for both salads (along with charges for the sandwiches our daughters had ordered and enjoyed) and a 20% discount. There was no way I was going to pay this much for two uneaten salads. After having waited several more minutes, the manager finally reappeared with a new bill in hand minus the salads. However, he continued to insist that the bag of greens was fresh, that he had gone through it himself and had found "only a few slimy pieces" and that "since it's a natural product it's to be expected." Excuse me?! I own a restaurant and would NEVER serve this quality of food or treat my customers in such a disrespectful, condescending manner, especially if I charged outrageous prices. (And by the way, the pear wasn't ripe. It looked like old slices of Granny Smith apple stuck around the side.) read more

My family and I went to Cold Spring Depot for the $14.99 Sunday Brunch BUFFET on Mother's Day 2010. Their web site had "Mother's Day" right next to the buffet brunch ad. When we showed up for our noon reservation, we were told that the restaurant decided not to run the buffet this day...too busy. The buffet turned out to be a choice of ONE of the selections for $12.95, not including coffee or "the dessert table" as advertised on their site earlier in the week. Our Eggs Benedict were terrible. The yolks were fully cooked, the english muffin couldn't even be cut with a knife and the Canadian bacon was tough. The Hollandaise sauce was gelled on the overcooked egg. My husband and I took our two children to the restaurant today for lunch. I had been there a few times before (years) and had really enjoyed it. I'm not sure why, actually. We had gone to have dinner near the train tracks, which my son is a huge fan of! I guess for starters I wasn't a fan of the menu. I'm a pretty basic person and could go for a quick luncheon meal. There just weren't very many options (I would of been happy with a basket of chicken, or a chicken salad, etc). My husband is more adventurous and had a hard time finding something he wanted too. It also seemed rather over priced for what you ordered. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, and it came with about 5 french fries and a small sandwich..for $13. I would of been happier ordering off the children's menu (which was $10 for a child)! Anyways, it seemed very "stuffy" there. I felt like I was having lunch at my grandparents house where I was expected to be quiet and on my "best" behavior. Even though there were lots of children around and we were outside it just wasn't a very pleasant/welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was nice, but that was it. When my chicken sandwich came out, she let me sit there for about 10 minutes before coming over and asking if everything was ok. It wasn't very busy while we were there, she was just chatting with her co-worker the entire time. The hostess seemed to be the least welcoming, and we almost felt like we were an inconvenience to her for wanting a table. Bottom line, I guess I expected too much from this place, and we probably won't be back. Perhaps just my husband and I for a cocktail on a summers night, but thats probably about it. Terrible bartender. Couldn't get one thing right. Put one of our orders in before the other. Forgot another order. So we all ate at different times. He came over to "negotiate" a deal to make up for his own fault of forgetting to place her order. She asked for a round of beers for the four of us and he said no. I'll do one. "This is a negotiation". No it's not dude. You f'd up. That's when you take the tips from your jar and pay for the round because we waited an extra 45 min for her meal which was still wrong when you brought it. Then... He couldn't split the bill right. We gave cash and three cards to split the bill evenly after that. He charged one card three times then couldn't understand what he did wrong. Not to mention he said he was up the night before drinking heavily and smoking. He told us not to leave because he didn't want to wait on more people and that we should just chill. He called over two managers who still couldn't help him figure out the mess he'd made. There were cute men in a band playing in the background so that was cute. George, I think you should find something else you're more passionate about. Restaurants don't seem to be your thing man. Cute place. We took a drive up to Cold Spring this Fall and stopped here for a bite to eat. Glad we did. Warm and inviting and the staff is super friendly. I recommend the Shepard Pot Pie.. btw there is a ghost that visits the place every so often. read more

This place was absolutely terrible! I even gave it a second chance and it was still awful. Heres how my Cold Spring Depot experience went. Part 1: My boyfriend and I arrive at the Depot on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We stand outside at the hostess stand waiting to be seated. The hostess is nowhere in sight and then randomly appears. She stands around doing anything but help us find a seat, even though she sees us...ok. Finally some guy walks over- we think will help us and instead he starts shuffling around tables and tells us to move. Ok.... The hostess finally comes over after about 7 minutes and shows us to an outdoor seat, she sits us wayyyyyyy in the back. Keep in mind there are only about two other parties seated. Meanwhile, over in the middle of nowhere my bf and I start perusing the menu, only to find out they are different. Mine has some items on it that his does not list and we are extremely confused because it is breakfast yet we have menus that have dinner items listed and no breakfast options. We proceed to sit for about 15 minutes and not a single person comes over. We awkwardly look around. The hostess and several employees make eye contact with us, but do not do anything. Honestly at this point- it was just freaky. Like, I have never been to a place where everyone looks so out of place and confused and half asleep. We decide to up and leave after this 25 minute ordeal. The hostess watches up walk out and does not even say anything. We left and went to a better place further up the road. Thank god! Delicious food too and quick! Part 2: Later that day we decide to give the Depot another chance. Maybe EVERY employee was coincidentally just having a rough morning. We go an take a seat at the outside bar, fearing the terrible table service. WELP. The bar was just as bad. There were all these people seated at the bar, but no bartender in sight.... We sit there for about 10 minutes, still no one behind the bar!! *crickets crickets* Needless to say we up and left AGAIN!! Seriously, Cold Spring Depot, what is going on here? You guys sit on a gold mine, yet you don't seem to be trying very hard to maintain a good loyal customer base. I will take my business elsewhere. I have never been to a place where I literally have had to basically beg the business to take my money. No thanks!! I just hope people read this and do not fall into the trap. Keep walking further up into town, there are much better, cleaner places that are actually pleased to serve you and will not waste half your day! read more

The experience was so bad it has forced me to write a review for the first time ever about about any restaurant and we go out to eat at least twice a week. First they seated us in the back by where waiters smoke, I got eaten up by mosquitos. The waitress came over plopped waters on the table never saying a word, didnt even know she would be our waitress. The utensils had to be sent back, both forks and knives, for both of us had particles of food stuck on the them. We waited over 40 minutes for our food. The viniagrette salad came instead with a caesar salad dressing, the chicken was dry. I didnt even send it back I had already made up my mind to never come back again we had just hiked for hours just wanted a decent meal and to move on, and I knew it would take another 40 minutes to get another meal. First of all the service was absolutely horrible. Sat for over 20 min before server even came over for drink orders, by that time we were ready to order everything and we did. Two appetizers to share between four, and our entrees. One guest was gluten free so they were only ordering appetizer and soup as nothing else on the menu appeared to be gluten free. After waiting over 1/2 an appetizer was brought out and the server informed us at this time that they were "out' of the other appetizer. You wait a 1/2 hour to tell us this? We asked the server to see the menu again, he dropped one off and we never saw him again. The rest of the food came out and the person who was only having the soup and the appetizer that they were out of still had not been able to order something new. We finally had to ask the person who brought us the food ( not our server to at least bring us a salad.) While the salmon was tasty it wasn't worth the price and the horrible service made it terrible. I then ask for a Crown Royal neat and was given a Maker's Mark, believe me if you drink whiskey you know the difference. At dessert they were out of the bread pudding and didn't tell us again until they brought the other desserts out! Just terrible experience. Would not recommend or repeat a dinner here! read more

The service was horrible and the food wasn't much better. It took a long time for the waiter to come to our table and then when he did, he disappeared for long periods of time. Someone else eventually brought the food. The wings were okay but should have been served with celery sticks. The mussels were okay but would have been better served with bread for the sauce. We had to ask for plates and water. Seriously? We're from out of state and figure this place must be living off their location. This was our last night in town and were really disappointed. Really lousy service. Waited 10 minutes standing in the rain before the staff acknowledge us and offered us a table. Once seated, we sat another 15 minutes - under a too small umbrella leaking rain down my back - before we got fed up waiting for anyone to offer so much as a glass of water (let alone a menu or an alternate table) and we got up and walked inside. At this point, the hostess finally noticed us an offered a table inside. When we finally got a waiter, he took our order and disappeared acting as if he we really pissed off to have to bother with us. We never saw him again. No water or coffee refills offered. No dessert offered. We had to chase him down to get a bill - couldve easily walked out without paying because no one apparently noticed or cared we were there - and when he came with the bill he brought his pissed off attitude with him. What was supposed to be a fun Sat lunch with my hubby turned into a big fizzle with lousy service and unnecessary attitude. read more

Worst place ever should be voted worst restaurant in the USA. Staff were angry disappeared after taking the orders, drinks came a few at a time with some people not receiving them for a half an hour. Manager was angry, blamed us for their poor service actually stated to one customer if he wasn't on duty he would kick the shit out of him then he hit him in the back with the menus. It was totally over priced food was bad and very little. I never even received mine they didn't make it all. The people I was with had finally eaten. This whole ordeal took over 1and 1/2 hrs. I left hungry and angry I never even want to go back to cold springs sorry we found a spot for our boat. Where's the owners!!! I left my card behind by accident, and instead of holding it behind the bar, or calling the bank, their staff stole it and began spending money on it. I have unfortunately left my card behind before at other places, and they have all put my card away for safe keeping until I return for it, never in my life have I had the staff steal it. Quite surprised by the dishonesty of the waiter that was nice to our faces and even got a tip. read more

After walking through Cold Spring on a beautiful Sunday afternoon we decided to try Cold Spring Depot for dinner- the patio and garden seemed very delightful and there was even a band playing in the gazebo. How could we go wrong? To start, we waited in line for 20 minutes even though there were clearly at least 4 vacant tables on the patio. The table they sat us at had a glass top which was sitting on some sort of cast cement object which is only of importance because there was a light inside the cement cylinder probably meant to shine up into the umbrella but was really just shinning right in our faces. We had to cover it with menus and place-mats. They did take our order right away and our waiter was very friendly, but we ended up waiting quite a long time for food. The waiter apologized several times. The biggest disappointment was the food- it was mediocre at best and it's not cheap. The menu looks like your typical diner menu except that the prices range from $15-25. read more

Living in the Dutchess County area, we have gone to this restaurant several times over the years. Today we took a ride to Cold Spring and decided to have something to eat at the Depot. It was very busy at around 3:45 when we walked in. It took a while before anyone even acknowledged us waiting to be seated, then the host came over and said he would be right back. After about another 5 minute wait, he seated us inside as requested. A waiter brought us water and asked what we would like to drink, we asked for a Coke and coffee, which he brought over rather quickly. He then came back a few minutes later, took our order and left, saying nothing, as the host had not, either, about the fact that there would be a long wait for our food due to it being busy. After about a 50 minute wait, we spotted the host and asked him if he knew if we would be getting our food soon. He gave us a speech about how this time of year when it is still busy outside and inside, that long a wait is normal. We replied that if we had been told that, we probably would not have waited. He just mumbled something again about it being extremely busy and our food would be out shortly. Finally after about another 10 minutes, the food came out, which by the way,was not a complicated order, we only ordered a Pear Salad and the French Dip. The salad was good, but my fries were cold and hard, but after that long a wait, I was not waiting any longer to have them replaced. In the end, they took off for the coffee and the soda, which although a small gesture (neither are very expensive!!), we felt at least it was something. Unfortunately, paying $37 for a salad and a sandwich which took over an hour to get, made us decide we will NEVER return to the Depot. Too expensive for such terrible service and cold food. Also, they obviously allow guests to use e-cigarettes (vapes) in the dining room, as a girl sitting right next to us was using. It was smelly and distracting. My suggestion, if you know that as the host said, "it is still a very busy time of year", then have more staff working to accommodate the guests, instead of making the guests wait so long and then getting cold food. read more

Love going to the Depot during summer months but the Oktoberfest menu, offered on weekends, was outstanding. The wurst platter with three different sausages and homemade German potato salad was delicious. When we complimented the chef on the quality of the sausages, it turned out that they are locally made. But my absolutely favorite thing was the strudel. Since I make it from a 150 year old family recipe, I am super picky. This had a light, flaky crust, and totally authentic filling that was perfectly seasoned. It was served warm and when I added ice cream.... amazing! With the fall color and the German music, it was a perfect afternoon. read more

I always love to visit cold spring and dine at the Cold Spring Depot. I received a gift card for Christmas. This will be the last time I ever go there. I was not impressed by the food at all. They must have hired a new chef. The chicken pot pie was now a soup and not a pie. The meatloaf wrapped in bacon had no flavor. I was very upset cause this was a gift that went to waste. OK - let me preface this review by saying the food was pretty decent and the weather was a cool, sunny Sunday in the fall. (the Sunday before Halloween weekend) - it seems like everybody who lives on the East Coast had the same idea to go 'leaf peeping' at Bear Mountain. We never made it up the mountain due to the masses of traffic, but I did have in mind to go to Cold Springs for a nice lunch with my husband and my mom. We were disappointed that we didn't see the fall leaves, but we were looking forward to a nice lunch. I had another restaurant in mind, but since we sat in traffic and just walked through the town of Cold Springs, the Cold Springs Depot was the first spot we came across on our way to another place. It had outdoor seating, the sun was shining, it was somewhat warm for October (about 60*) and there was an Ooompah band playing some German music for the Oktoberfest season. We were promptly seated in the center of the outdoor patio. We checked out the menus and decided on lunch items. And then we waited...and waited...about 10-15 minutes into our wait, we snagged a busboy (who was running his butt off) and asked for a server. A young man finally came over, introduced himself as Mike and asked if we'd like drinks to start. I told him we were ready all around. We ordered 2 sodas, 3 waters, my husband ordered New England clam chowder and the blacked blue bacon burger, I ordered the 3 cheese onion soup and the pear salad, and my mom ordered the Chicken Pot Pie. He turned and walked away.... My mom and I left the table to find the restrooms and when we came back, our drinks were on the table. My husband was wiping a big spill of water away from in front of him. I asked what happened and he said the waiter practically threw the drinks on the table. Another table of 3 men sat next to us. Their order was promptly taken and they received their lunch specials within 10-15 minutes of ordering. About 15 minutes after that, our soups arrived - my onion soup was really tasty, not very salty (which onion soups can be), and just the perfect amount of cheesy goodness. My husband said his NE clam chowder was 'ok' - a little watery. the busboy took our empty bowls away (the guys next to us were almost finished with their lunches, as was the couple that was seated a few minutes after them on the other side of us). And then we waited....and waited...and waited. About a half hour after our soups were removed, my mom got the attention of another server to ask where our lunches were. He said he'd check. Our waiter came over about 5 minutes later to say our food was on the way. About 10 minutes later, still nothing. We barely saw our waiter, and of course now, I couldn't find the host/manager who sat us. What the hell!!! The sun was setting, 2 tables who sat after us were finished and gone, we've been here almost 2 hours, there's a line forming of people waiting for tables, and nobody cares that we're hungry and ready to leave!!! Finally our meals come out (after about 2.5 hours total time of sitting there). My salad was OK - it's a salad - something tasted "off", but thankfully, I didn't get sick (which I did on Friday night from another meal someplace else) - there were mixed greens, bleu cheese crumbles, cranberries, walnuts, unripe pears (that were hard and not sweet), onion and a truffle honey vinaigrette. My husband said his Blackened Blue Bacon burger was tasty - it was cooked medium as he wanted, and piled high with blue cheese and bacon. My mom's chicken pot pie looked great, but as expected, it was cold. there was a huge puffed pastry on top of the plate of chicken and veggies. The chicken/veggies underneath were cooling off, but since she was starving, she ate it all. Before we were finished with our meals, we grabbed the waiter to make sure we'd get our check so we could finally get out of there! the bill came to $60 and unfortunately/although the food was decent, the service was not and we only left 10% (which my mom and husband argued that that was too much) - my mom and I both grew up as servers, my grandparents owned a restaurant back in the day, and I don't care how bad your day is or where you'd rather be, if you're in the restaurant/bar industry, you put a smile on your face and you give the best service possible!!! don't make your customers hunt you down, looking for your food....make yourself accessible and accommodating. 3 hours later we were finally out of there...I doubt if we're ever back in Cold Springs we'd go back to the 'Depot'...I should have gone with my instincts and found the other place...maybe next time. Compliments to the chefs, though... And beware the high speed Amtrak train that will pass through a few times (well, 3-4 times while we were there ....maybe every hour on the hour??). read more

I wish I could give this place one star. I got declined to to even sit at the bar because my id said under 21 on side even though I am 23. She said is was not valid because it had under 21 on it. She was very rude and mean. If you checked the year on it you could see I am 23. My id wasn't expired yet. It expires in 2017. I looked at the dmw website and there is no law stating I had to get a new one. I talk to a police officer he said as long as it is not expired my id is good to go. This is the first time I ever got declined to sit at a bar since I turned 21. I went up the street instead they took my id they saw it was real and they served me. I felt the second we came in she didn't want to serve us point blank period. We usually go hiking in the area and was told to try out this place. Too bad we couldn't. Again mind you I go to bars every other week and my NY state ID has ever been declined. I felt very offended I have my place I pay own rent I pay my own bills I should be able to get a drink with a valid NY ID that has not expired. read more

I went to the Depot last night to hear one of the longstanding Irish music sessions that formerly played at Guinan's years ago. I was quite saddened to hear that the new management has booted the musicians out. I've been looking forward to checking the music out since I moved to Cold Spring. We went for their last session which was pretty fabulous. It was great to see so many friends and make some new ones. The Portobello burger was sensational, and so were the fries, beer, and quaint ambiance. The service was also very good but they seemed a bit confused at times about where to deliver some orders. Sadly we won't be back for the Irish music but we'll be back again for the food someday. read more

To think my first date with my wife happen here 20 years ago, my wedding reception for 60 was here 18 years ago. Those were the days great food and times. The restaurant was sold and everything seem to become mediocre. Well today in a nostalgic mood we went back. The menu seemed sparse and I was a little scared but to my surprise we had a wonderful 4pm lunch. The buffalo calamari was amazing mixed into a fresh salad, the chicken pesto sandwich hit the spot while the staff was friendly and the atmosphere in a 1800's train station intimate and inviting. Just left this restaurant and I couldn't wait to write a review. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. First, we asked to sit outside so we could keep an eye on our 5 month old lab puppy in the car even though it was chilly. Edelberto told us to bring him in because no one was sitting on the patio. He was also our waiter and he promptly brought the puppy water. Second, the burgers were the best we've ever had! Cooked to perfection, mine & my mom's with an onion jam and sweet chili aioli and my daughter's with a Cajun seasoning, blue cheese and bacon. A glass of Sauvignon Blanc for the adults and it was the perfect afternoon. I can't wait to return! read more

Unfortunately, we hosted a big dinner at this restaurant w/a party of about 20 people. I wish I had selected another place. The service was terrible. We would have to flag down a server every time we needed another drink and we waited what seemed like forever to get our food, which was average. I ate the Dallas Burger which was tasty, but when my friend asked about the burger and they told her it was spicy - they didn't even offer to just put the spicy sauce on the side after she told them she wanted a burger but wasn't crazy about spicy (we had about three options to choose from because our menu was fixed with three selections for the main course). They basically weren't all that friendly (the owner was and one of the waiters was, but our main waitress I don't think cracked a smile the whole night). Also, after we were able to finally get someone's attention to order another cocktail, we had about three glasses literally stacked and sort of moved this pile toward the gentleman we ordered the drink from and he just walks away from the table after getting our request for another drink and leaves the stack of glasses on our very crowded table surface sitting there! We finally had to ask another nearby server if someone could please remove the dishes which should have been taken away about 15 minutes earlier if they could clear them from our table because we barely had any room left on the table to eat on or to put down our fresh drinks. The entire night there were countless instances of people needing something and it seemed like none of the servers came around to ask - we always had to flag someone down to get anything. Really ridiculous. By the way, our reservation was made at least one month prior to the dinner date so they had plenty of time to prepare and it was an earlier reservation (6:00 on a Friday) so it wasn't exactly packed when we showed up - and we showed up right on time, too. I was disappointed with the service. The place itself is pretty cool - really neat decorations inside and an overall lively atmosphere, but my goodness! Let's pick it up people with the quality of the food and THE SERVICE NEEDS SERIOUS HELP! read more

We wanted to like this place. We loved the ambiance. It looked like it would be a fun place to eat. The outdoor garden is lovely, and the inside of the restaurant is charming. When the weather's warm, there's live music outside. The food we saw on other people's plates looked delicious. Sadly, we will never know whether or not the food is any good, because the service was so dreadful, we left before receiving our order. We're willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, and walking out is not something we do often, or lightly. It was a beautiful afternoon, the band was playing, and we wanted to have lunch outside. There was no line when we arrived, but the host seemed a bit overwhelmed, even though there were at least 4 open tables. We asked to be seated close to the band, and we were. Then we waited. It took 10 minutes for the waiter to even acknowledge our presence. When he did, it was with a signal that he'd be over in a minute. So we waited. 5 minutes later he came to our table. We ordered a burger, and a sausage sandwich from the Oktoberfest menu, and decided to share a cider, and asked for water for both of us. He came back with our drink order and a dose of attitude. Neither of us was all that pleased, but we'd ordered, so we waited. 25 minutes later, we still didn't have our food. All this time we had been watching the rest of the wait staff (there were plenty of them), taking and filling orders at other tables. After another 5 minutes, when we finally saw our waiter and got his attention; he barked at us that it would take some time. And we were done waiting. A half hour wait for a burger and a hot dog is unreasonable (unless, of course, the kitchen has to butcher the meat first) and unacceptable. As a customer service employee, it's a waiter's job to inform his tables if the kitchen is backed up, and to do it pleasantly. We looked at each other and decided at the same moment that we'd had enough. Paid for our drink (which wasn't all that special, despite the menu notes), and left. And we will never go back. Very friendly staff. Decor was well done (but I like books and old trunks). Food was just average though. We probably won't return but we wouldn't say no if someone really wanted to go there. There are too many other restaurants in the area to settle for average. read more

I had a great lunch. Not fine dining. Just a great old school turkey sandwich type lunch in a great outdoor setting. Sitting outside on a sunny day with trains passing, it's really a great setting. read more

My wife and I stopped in yesterday 11/17/18 at around 1430 hours and decided to sit at the bar, restaurant door was closed and locked. We had eaten there numerous times in the last 2 years, service and food was always fantastic. Yesterday not, we both were eager to have a drink and some food, spent a few hours at the DAV seminar at Castle Point. The bartender was busy and had initially apologized for being overwelmed, he gave us menus and took our drink order. We waited for him to come back and see if we wanted to get something to eat and in the long wait my wife finished her drink and I was halfway through mine. At this point there were only 4 other people at the bar and they were all taken care of. The bartender was to busy talking to an individual in the doorway to outside, another employee, about the football game on TV. We proceeded to wait, even made eye contact with him, no luck. We decided to forgo eating in one of our favorite places because of his in attention to his customers. read more

Only had a burger and drinks here, but this place did those well enough. The outdoor patio is nice, as is reading up on the history of this old train station (which for some reason spent some time as a car dealership? And also may be haunted!? LOL). Service was a tad bit slow, but if you find yourself in Cold Spring on a warm summer night and have a hankering for a burger this place is a good (and probably your only) option. If you are afraid of trains you may want to go elsewhere as both Amtrak and Metro-North trains whizz by every so often. read more
