Great fast service and I'm very happy with the work For sure a way better experience than most garages. Noah is for sure true blue and will treat you fair, no gauging or upselling unnecessary work. Drop off and pick up was super easy. Fernando (my car) is running smooth. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Had my wheel spacers installed by Noah today. Excellent job! Noah is not just an awesome mechanic, he's an upstanding guy to do business with. I've been to a lot of mechanics in all my years of fixing cars and Noah is at the top of my list! I'll certainly visit him again for soon for track prep! read more

The epidemic of catalytic converter theft reached our 2005 Prius. To deter the next attempt, Noah armored the replacement with four lengths of rebar and added a clever alarm. This enables us to keep this well-loved car, which is otherwise a target for this crime. Any thief considering a repeat job will now think twice: The rebar will eat their saw battery, their blade, and their night. And the neighborhood will be ready to pounce when the alarm goes off. Noah is an ace and a good human. He's smart, quick, resourceful, and fun to work with. read more

I moved to the West SYDE- a year and a half ago, not knowing: where to get my oil changed, where to find a decent bowl of Pho and many other things that I took for granted in Ballard for the past 10 years. So, when I began asking the locals where to take my car for an oil change, most of them said things like Midas, Jiffy Lube and "I just take it to the dealer". Well, for me this won't do. So, I had been just loading up the wagon's and continuing North to Matt's in Greenwood. I mean when you find a place you can trust not to jerk you around, well, it's like finding buried treasure...GOLD, thar's GOLD in them thar hills... ANYHOO- my car was in desperate need of a change, and I called to make an appt with Matt, but nothing in his schedule worked with mine. So, I checked good ol' yelp here folks- and came across the reviews of Cohesive- and I'm so glad I did. Noah, is honest and gives it to you straight. He's conveniently located to the West Side folk, and he can shoot the shizit. Great guy, whom I will definitely trust my Honda Pilot with in the future. read more

Noah is an outlier in the auto trade and I am very grateful for Cohesive Garage. I recently bought my 16 year old son his first car. An affordable but rare and lovely 2007 bmw 530i. (I know, not smart) I got carried away. 3 days after purchase, the service engine lights ticked on and all systems had shut down by the weekend. I had the car towed to Cohesive on the advice from a trusted friend. The car "lit up like a Christmas tree" with 5 codes. I was reasonably braced to accept that the repairs would likely exceed the value of the vehicle. My lawyer had already prepared to file motions against the dealership that sold me the car and refused to take it back. I was pleasantly shocked when Noah saved the day a week later. He had discovered that all of the problems and false codes were coming from a loose wire. His fee for his diagnostics, work, multiple test drives etc. was under $400. . . Incredible. I planned to sell the car ASAP if we managed to get out of this situation but now we've got Cohesive in our corner so I'm keeping this ridiculous vehicle. Owning a used foreign car is a lot safer and simpler when you have a trustworthy mechanic that you can depend on. read more

Noah again does not fail to impress: my car was experiencing an elusive problem, and Noah was the only one to track it down and successfully remedy it-- again, at an excellent price! I won't bother with the details, other than to say that my initial comments were strongly reinforced. If you need a good mechanic who values helping people with their cars as much (if not more) as the money he makes on the work, go to Cohesive! read more

Definitely the best experience I have ever had getting my car worked on. I recommend this place to everyone now. Noah saved me hundreds of dollars off of what other places had quoted me on the rear suspension of my Lincoln Towncar. His high-quality, low-cost work made it so I could actually keep my car instead of buying a new one. Since my car is ancient and falling apart I bring it to him regularly now for everything from a leaking sun roof to aging brake pads. Noah has fixed everything super quick for super cheap without sacrificing good workmanship. I would say that Cohesive Garage is an all around excellent experience for the customer. read more

Noah continues to impress me with his fast and excellent service! I slid into a curb during the snow storm in January, and totally rendered my VW Golf immobile. My insurance company towed it to Les Schwabb Tires in Ballard - who quoted the damage at $1300. Yikes. So immediately I called Noah - and I'm so glad I did! He replaced the bent axle(!), among other things, and had me back in my car in just 2 days! He also saved me so much money! I knew I was going to spend a significant amount of money on the repairs - but he beat Les Schwabb's price by about $500! I can't recommend this place enough. One of the best things about Cohesive Garage is I trust Noah to advise me on what really needs to be done to the car. From a consumer stand point, I really appreciate that. I'm on a tight budget and my car isn't worth a whole lot - Noah recognizes that and provides service accordingly. It is obvious that he is truly trying to help me - not just make money. Best mechanic ever! read more

I brought my 2012 VW GTI to Cohesive Garage to have a set of coilovers and a turboback exhaust system installed. Noah is very experienced with my car model and did an awesome job with the installations. He even went the extra mile to help me adjust my suspension numerous times to get it just the way I wanted it. I totally recommend this shop and I will be visiting him again for my next installations! read more

Cohesive Garage - Auto Repair Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I myself found this Gem from Yelp. And was looking for a spot to have my Honda Accord worked on. So I called Noah the owner and asked if he could install my front lip and Injen Intake and he said yes. Arrived to the shop for my appointment and Noah was very friendly and got right to work. The shop office was very nice and comfortable. Noah knows his stuff and definitely deserves all the great reviews he has earned. The installation went smooth and I was off. Fair prices for the quality of work! Would definitely recommend this place for your auto needs. Thanks again Cohesive Garage! read more

Noah is fantastic to work with. Did an excellent job working on my wife's car, and could not be happier with his service. Definitely recommend for anyone in the Seattle area, and will be taking my cars to him from now on. read more

Snowmagedon 2012 Jan 17th. I get off work and pick up a couple new tires for my old Ford Taurus thinking all is good and getting ready to go Rally in some parking lots ! Good plan right ? Apparently nobody told my car, I started to hear a strange rattling sound in my engine compartment :( after having someone take a quick look at it, i'm informed that my water pump is on its way out and needs to be replaced soon. So I called up my usual mechanic and turns out he's sick, luckily I have a few days off work to be snowed in so I park my American Classic out front and turn to Yelp to find a shop. Cohesive Garage- 8 -5 star ratings, and all of them raving about this Noah guy... hmmm maybe they are all his buddies I think, but I decide to give him a call anyway and i'm sure glad that I did. My first phone call went a little like this... Me- Hey if your not too busy I was wondering if I could get an estimate on a water pump replacement for my Taurus. Noah- To be honest I don't know the exact numbers off hand, but i'll tell you this, i'll do it for as cheap as possible. Noah then continued to quote me some standard numbers for the part and his hourly rate and gave me a baseline estimate that seemed to me to be VERY fair and reasonable. We set up an apt and I was on my way to getting things fixed.... or so I thought. Couple days pass and my Appointment is coming up and the snow and ice has been coming in heavy. I wake up early throw the chains on my ride and am hoping that the shop is still going to be open for business. After a short phone call with Noah he let me know that if I could make it in, he would be there to fix my car. I dropped it off, He fixed it, done deal. This guy is a straight shooter, with fair pricing thats not trying to jack you around. I called and got one other estimate for this same job at Midus and they wanted $230 more. If you need your car worked on and you live anywhere near Cohesive Garage (or not) bring your ride to Noah and he will hook you up. read more

Amazing experience, as good as getting your car repaired can be. Noah is upfront about what's wrong, doesn't try to pressure you into spending more money than you have to and works fast and well. He also is a great guy to talk to, when I showed up a bit early he gave me a great recommendation on a couple local places to check out. No reason to take your car anywhere else. read more

I am a refugee from Stealerships. They try to upsell you, convince you the problem is all in your mind and try to make you feel better about them by washing your car after the service. I can wash my own car. Noah is straightforward, fair and knowledgeable. He is resourceful and pragmatic. I have only used him once but I will be back. The only reason he is not getting five stars is because it is just a bit clunky to get my car over there and get to work, but there is a bus line to downtown about a ten minute walk away, or Uber, of course. This last part is just going to me getting used to the logistics of dropping off and picking up. I hope to not be over there much, of course, but I am so relieved that I now have a friend in the car repair business! And a shout out to one of my car aficionado friends who gave me a great shout out for Noah, reinforcing my choice. I bet I update this to 5 stars....but I have to give Noah something to strive for. :) read more

Took my beloved Subaru STi here for brakes and 100k-mile maintenance and was overjoyed with the level of service I received for the price. Noah is a treasure. Highly recommended! read more

Cohesive Garage offers something most garages do not..... Noah has built something very special. He squeezed me in on MLK Day (the only day I had off) even though his day was full. He emailed me an estimate and to my surprise it took half the time he had estimated and he only billed me for that time! Most mechanics would just round up to the nearest hour. I am looking forward to larger projects in the very near future. Thanks again Noah for your time and professional work! Never thought an O2 sensor would improve the performance as much as it did. 2002 Lexus GS300 read more

I was new to the Seattle area a couple months ago and my Toyota 4 runner started randomly leaking oil. I was able to get in touch with Noah at cohesive garage and he quickly looked over my vehicle. Noah worked within my crazy schedule, completed the leak repair at a very reasonable price and also did some extra work on my car to keep it running safely. It can be extremely tough when moving to a new area to find an honest auto mechanic. I highly recommend Cohesive Garage. They will be working on my vehicle from here on out. Please note it is best to text with Noah. read more

There is a part of me that doesn't want to write this. It's really hard to find an honest mechanic, let alone person in this world, so when you find them you want to covet them as your own. However he is so amazing the world must know about him. Hopefully he can help you with your mechanical woes or basic regular maintenance on your vehicle. He was very efficient and timely working on my Toyota. He works Monday through Friday. Solid 5 out of 5 stars! read more

Noah has been such an asset for me with my BMW M3. He has helped me with suspension (coilovers), brakes (BBK), and exhaust. If you are a performance enthusiast this is the place for you. Can't say too many good things as Noah also does the maintenance and repairs on my other more mundane vehicles. He is the best. read more

Thanks, Cohesive Garge :) The owner, Noah really took care of me and my car the other day. I drive a Lexus hybrid and it's a bit intimidating taking this car to places other than the dealership (which I refuse to go to since $$$$$$$$$$) but CH always gives me the honest-to-goodness 411 on my car.. what I need to do now, what can wait.. what's not a big deal. Anyway, this shop is generally BUSY and it's generally always manned by the owner so don't expect to get in right away but know that you are in the best hands so don't get your panties in a bunch! read more

You better bring your A game if you are going to freestyle rap battle against Noah. He crushed me, and I am pretty sure he could take me in a dance off too. Besides that he is really great with my vehicles. He has taken out a couple of dents and scratches I put in, and has great info on any questions I have. I will go to him for everything car related. He also plays great music, if you request something he will put it on for you. read more

Was having an issue with my 05 Acura RL and wanted to make sure what the dealer told me was accurate and that I wasn't getting ripped off. ALL of the great Yelp reviews led me to talk to Cohesive Garage for a second opinion. I'm glad I went.... Noah was very helpful! In an industry of dishonest crooks, Noah @ Cohesive Garage stands out from the crowd with honest, straight forward feedback. He took the time to test drive my car not once, but twice!! In addition, he put it up on the rack to try to re-create the noise I was hearing. He was able to confirm that it had been correctly diagnosed and provided me with a competitive quote. Noah possesses the rare combination of automotive expertise, honesty and fairness. As we all know, in the auto repair world... that's like finding a friggin unicorn! I highly recommend Cohesive Garage and won't hesitate to bring my (and my girlfiend's car) there again in the future. Oh and one more thing........ he didn't charge me for his time to diagnose the issue. For his much appreciated efforts, he has earned a lifelong customer!!! If you're at all skeptical of all the great reviews on here........ don't be, they're all 100% LEGIT!!! You'll see for yourself when you take your car in. Cheers! read more

I have to admit, I'm 28 years old and I'd never taken my car to a mechanic. I'm that lazy girl who always makes my dad or boyfriend do it for me, which worked fine as long as I was living in California. But then I moved to Seattle. And I drive my car about a million miles a year. I knew it needed an oil change, maybe breaks and the little "maintenance required" light was on, so I decided to be a grown up and find myself a place to take my car (thanks Yelpers for making it an easy decision!). I called and set up a time to bring it in on my day off to get it check out. Noah was super friendly on the phone and didn't make me feel like a moron girl when I actually said the words "the little maintenance light thingy is on - I don't know what my car wants." I dropped my car off - 30 minutes after I was supposed to - hey, it's hard to way up on your day off sometimes! I had a friend pick me up and went about my day. A few hours later, Noah gave me a call to ask what I wanted him to do, because it seemed I really needed new rotors but my break pads had plenty of life left. I told him OK to get the rotors done/change the oil/ whatever else he thought it needed. A few more hours later he called to let me know it was done but since I couldn't get a ride back right away, he let me give him my CC number over the phone and I came to pick up the car after hours. The whole thing cost me way less than I was expecting and as if everything being perfect already wasn't good enough, he sent me an email later that day saying that he'd noticed one of my brake lights was out and forgot to fix it but if I swung by whenever I had time, he'd take care of it for free. Awesome, right? I didn't end up doing that because I instead made a friend do it at home for me (lazy girl here, remember?), but I seriously appreciated that he offered. read more

We found Noah because of Yelp and the great reviews. The reviews do not lie! We first went to the Hyundai Dealership and they were going to charge us 117.95 just for a diagnostic charge. We drove away and decided to find someplace closer to home. Glad we found Cohesive Garage on Yelp that day. We just stopped by and Noah checked our car for us. He was able to order the part that day and he had it the next day. Now that is fast! He let us know about another issue that would probably need to be looked at the next time we had an oil change. Well that issue came up a couple weeks later, but at least we weren't surprised when it happened. Again we're taking our car back to Noah. Extremely trustworthy mechanic. You won't be disappointed! read more

Honestly the best shop I've taken my car to. I took my car here because of a squeak coming from the front end of my car. The dealership quoted me $2,500 to replace just about every component in the suspension and after taking it to Noah, it turned out to be a loose bolt from a previous mechanic's terrible job. Not only did he save me thousands, but he put in the time and effort to go over the car and address other areas previous mechanics rushed over. Noah does a great job by taking the time to listen to your cars symptoms, and looks for the problem, not just the easy money/replace everything mentality most other shops and dealerships go after. I have been so let down with shops before cutting corners and leaving me with more issues then when I came in, but I can honestly breathe a sigh of relief now knowing my car is in a safe state and it's in good hands with Noah. You will not be disappointed or let down. read more

Noah just did an awesome job ! I found Cohesive/Noah on Yelp and was a little skeptical of all the positive reviews at first, as I frequently am with Yelp reviews. But Noah is the real deal. A pleasure to deal with, great mechanic and fairly priced. Before finding Cohesive, I had a poor experience with another well known West Seattle autoshop that shall remain nameless. Their repair estimates were astronomical. They found an array of problems with my car that they assured me were very serious. I kept thinking of the dentist I once had who claimed to find seven cavities in my mouth after I was cavity-free for more than a decade. Dealing with Noah was delightful in contrast. read more

My wife's VW Passat Wagon was on its last leg! We have been to two seperate so-called VW Mechanics before I stumbled accross Noah and Cohesive Garage! We got the car in to him on very short notice and he was able to actually diagnose the real problem and fix it in a timely and cost effective manner! He was very good at keeping us informed of the repairs and the costs that would coincide with those repairs. He managed to get the car running again and told us that it was in need of some more minor repairs that he was happy to fix for us and now the car literally runs better than it ever has!!!!!! He has made us customers for life!!!!!! Thanks again Noah! read more

I recently moved to West Seattle and was sort of dreading finding a new place to have my Honda CRV serviced without feeling ripped off or lied to or having to wait all day for what should be a simple service. I took my car here for an oil change today, based on the great yelp reviews, and was not disappointed. The owner is genuinely friendly and nice (and I'm a wary type who isn't ready to say that about most people who appear friendly on the surface). He seemed knowledgeable and he told me that my brake pads were close to needing replacement without doing the hard-sell scare tactics that many repair shops do (you will DIE! Today! Unless you buy this expensive part! From us!). I felt like he explained things in terms I, a person who has almost no knowledge about the inner workings of cars, could understand, yet not in a condescending way at all. Like others who have left reviews, I'm super glad to have found a great auto shop in W Seattle. This coming from a very meticulous owner of several expensive German autos. Noah is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. A very rare find in this business. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a fair price for great work to be done on their vehicle. The five star reviews that the sight boasts are worthy of all that it's earned by being a great place of business. I took my Audi A4 in for a radiator replacement along with a water pump. I know dealerships are expensive but Audi charged me 875 for the radiator replacement and 850 for the water pump. after searching for several shops in a 10 mile radius I came across Noah's shop.
