I've been taking my cars here since I had a learners permit in 1999 and it was located two locations ago in a tiny little place with a single residential-size garage. Richard is true blue. Seriously. I wish he worked on sailboats. read more

We came in here originally because our usual mechanic was on vacation and we needed an oil change. We were amazed and happy that you do more than simply change the oil during that process. Everything was checked and it was quite affordable!! We're also having some work done that was found during that oil change soon. I'm so grateful that you found it before it got too bad. Thank you! read more

Richard and other staff are the greatest. He has been working on my cars since 2002. Never have I had an issue with the work he has done. He has never over charged. He can pinpoint a problem and always looks over the whole car at each service. I take my cars for oil changes and more. read more

I've been coming here for years! Ever since my old Camry started having radiator problems and my local repair shop was completely ripping me off. My partner suggested Maestro instead, and I've been here ever since! They're always completely up front, they don't talk down to me, their prices are very reasonable, and they're super accommodating. read more

I can't praise Richard and Linda at Maestro Motors enough. Even though they were booked solid, I was fortunate to have them take a look at my car to check the battery. Through perfect logistical timing they were able to fix the problem. Totally fortunate timing, and even more fortunate to have them as my go-to mechanic. The best in every way! read more

Maestro Richard is the most honest, competent and reliable mechanic I've ever used. His shop is hard to find because it's located under a staircase l, with only a door and sign board, but if you can get your car in with him you won't be disappointed. read more

My daughter broke down on I-5. We had no idea where to tow the car. We live in West Seattle and decided to give Maestro Motors a try because of their good reviews. I dropped the car off after they closed without being able to tell them. I called the next morning and they TOTALLY took care of me. Went out of their way to squeeze me into their busy schedule and at a very reasonable price. We are very impressed! read more

Auto mechanics are hard for me to trust but this place is awesome. Richard is a good person and seems to really want to do what's right. Last time we took the car in, it was making a horrendous noise in the front left wheel. The shop found something stuck in the brake assembly, cleaned it out and sent us on our way without trying to take our money for something we didn't need. Just try it and you won't be sorry. read more

Wow! These guys are fabulous. I failed my emissions test because my engine check light was on alerting me to a potential transmission problem. I took my car to Maestro on the recommendation of a friend (Thanks Robin). They checked the transmission and there wasn't anything wrong. The mechanic was able to turn off the check light. The best part is he took my car back to the emissions testing station to make sure it would pass the test!!! What? I was amazed they did that for me. Saved me time and I was able to buy my car tabs right away. I will be going back to Maestro anytime I need work done on my car. Thank you Maestro, you guys rock! read more

These guys rock. They have not only fixed my truck and my wife's car a few times now-- and done so thoroughly and without issue, and with reasonable pricing-- but have actually talked me out of two expensive jobs that they didn't think were necessary. The latter is a mark of great honesty to me. I trust this shop and highly recommend them! Also, the original art in their shop is super cool! read more

You guys- they are worth driving 30 miles for to get your car worked on. Richard and his entire team are INCREDIBLE! You will be a customer for life. My battery died Wednesday night and AAA told me to take it to an automotive place, because I didn't want to pay their insane rates for on the road service... it was after hours, and I dropped my car off at Maestro and literally forgot to call them in the morning to tell them why I had dropped it off. They called me, told me they figured out it was a battery issue, and replaced it for 50% cheaper than what AAA quoted me! Without me even asking! Yay for amazing small businesses!! And for making my life so much easier! Love you guys! -Alexandra read more

This place was great! They are honest and they go the extra mile and they made me feel like I could ask questions without feeling like I was going to be ripped off. I took my car in for something cosmetic and ended up leaving with a place I'll take my car forever. Thank you!!!! read more

An honest mechanic with fair prices? Yes, they do exist! Push, pull or drag your car to Richard and his crew. You won't be sorry.

Maestro Motors was great! Amy was very informative and helpful. They got my car fixed in a day and let me know everything wrong with my hunk of junk car. They are personable, friendly, informative, efficient, honest, and budget friendly. Thanks again! read more

I love Maestro Motors! I can't tell you how many times and how much money these gentlemen have saved me for repairs. It is obvious that their objective isn't about making bank and ripping people off; their work reflects how passionate they are about cars. They are also more than willing to explain the process step by step (helpful for car-illiterate folks like myself) and show you effective procedures in order to maintain your vehicle. Another major plus is that they except payment plans, which is a RARITY for any auto shop. I will continue bringing my Honda to their shop and encourage you all to do the same. Spread the word, support local business! read more

I would give ten stars if I could. Finding a good, honest and reliable mechanic is harder than finding a doctor. Richard and his crew are excellent auto mechanics and interesting people. I have never been over charged, or had superfluous extra work added on to inflate a bill. They fix your car and charge what is fair: is there anything better than that? read more

I went in for brake service on my old Toyota minivan.....and that's what I got! They came in under the (over the phone) estimate by a lot and even let me decide on whether to replace the rears or not ( I did). Personable people, didn't gouge me on parts, I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Dependable, caring, efficient, affordable - there aren't enough adjectives to describe Maestro Motors! It's the only place we go for our cars anymore. Love them! read more

These guys are the best. They are honest, reliable, and they know what they are doing. You won't be sorry.

I just moved to Seattle and bought an older truck that immediately started having issues. I have been burned by mechanics in the past so I wanted someone I could really trust to be fair and honest. Upon a recommendation from Advance Auto Parts across the street, I brought my truck here. They were fantastic! They kept me informed each day on their diagnostic progress and what they planned to do next. Richard found a small problem that he fixed for free but unfortunately my truck was having stupid transmission issues that required a shop that specialized in transmissions. His super amazing and nice front desk staff gave me the info for a place to take it and sent me on my way with no charge. I am so happy to have found an honest and kind mechanic and have definitely found my go to place for car issues. I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

Just visited for the first time, Richard checked out my 10-year-old Subaru, but told me the only issue he can see isn't worth fixing, topped off my oil for free and set me off without charging me a penny. read more

Love Richard and Mary! Honest mechanics, price is decent. Love supporting small auto shop with integrity.

Glad to say this place lived up to their reviews. Very polite, quick and reliable. I'm new to west seattle and definitely glad I found this place although I would prefer my car doesn't break down :) read more

The Best. Absolute integrity and great customer service. Richard and his team have been keeping our old Toyota RAV4 on the road for several years now. It recently snapped a timing belt and they worked until 9PM to get it back to us the next day, and took care of a few other minor issues at the same time. They will help you evaluate what you really need to spend money on to keep an older vehicle going, never recommending work that is unnecessary. read more

I had read the positive reviews and that is why I went to Maestro Motors. Like the other reviewers, I was thoroughly impressed with Richard. He was down to earth, kind and very service oriented. I drove away a happy customer and will definitely take my car back there for future repairs. read more

Once again the team at Maestro Motors has impressed me. I had a little fender bender, no damage, I thought! Next day, my car started overheating. That night, I dropped off my car with a note hoping for the best. They called me, broke the news that the radiator had been punctured, but they could have it all fixed by the end of day. I was so relieved but nervous about the cost - I shouldn't have been. Not only was the bill VERY reasonable, the car is running perfectly now. Thank you so much for excellent mechanical work, but also wonderful customer service! read more

This place is wonderful -- so glad it was recommended to me by CarQuest (may not have ever found it otherwise)! I just had to replace a headlight, and Rima (sp?) was awesome (thank you!!). Big on customer service, honest/trustworthy, and very fair on price. I definitely plan on returning for any car-related work/issues. read more

They aren't just awesome mechanics, they are awesome people! I could not say enough to express how much I appreciate Richard, Reema and the staff here. They are honest, personable and incredibly helpful. I know pretty much nothing about cars and I recently purchased an old wrangler. I've since been to Maestro twice. They fixed the first problem and it was way less of a cost an issue than I had predicted it would be! The second visit was to have them look over the car before a big road trip to Montana. They clearly explained everything they did and wrote down notes of what to monitor on the road trip and what kind of coolant to buy and even showed me where to fill it. Helped me figure out what I needed to purchase to lift my car and change a flat (those tools were missing when I bought the car). They were genuinely concerned about my well being and wanted me to have a great trip! I love the people here so much, I'm ready to ask them to be the god parents of my future children! 5 million stars to Maestro! read more
