I recently discovered This s gem of a coffee house in Northwest. I walked in and noted the ambience was a place I could enjoy a coffee and order a yummy salad! The barista was super helpful and answered questions about food options. I eat GF-Celiac- and was able to ear a healthy salad that was delicious and well prepared. I've been going to this place for about a year now. The decor is cute, industrial chic. I love their coffees and of course they drizzle a design on the top of each coffee. Their pastries are yummy but my favorite breakfast dish there is their avocado toast. Always yummy! I also love their oatmeal. Wanted to love this place, keep attempting to at least like it. Location is great! Unfortunately, there are a few glaring, continuous issues. Morning crew is noisy, like off the charts loud when interacting with colleagues behind the counter. There was one individual and now another who have volume on ten. All the time, consistently with no reduction. It's like being shocked over and over each time the pitch hits. Along with that tables are dirty, bathroom is dirty, floors are dirty. Makes me wonder about the kitchen. Overall, it needs a good scrub down which is not happening. Coffee is hit or miss, when they hit it's great. I drink espresso shots, hard to mess up and regularly were funky. For a pricy coffee they need to have it more together. Pastries are hit or miss, usually over baked, dry and on the hard side. Tried it again while back in town after a year off and nothing's changed. Gave it two stars for the employees who actually are on point and attentive. read more

This place is going to go out of business if they don't up their game. The first time I was there, I bought a pizza that was inedible for 17.00. The next time I came in at noon, on a Sunday, and they had OK coffee with nothing to go with it. No croissants no bagels no nothing except a few unappetizing muffins. So I ordered a grilled cheese that was horrible. Some cheese slapped haphazardly on some thick bread. Very little cheese on big fat bread; hard to eat. The people in the kitchen can't make anything; obvious by what comes out. The only reason I gave them a two was because the coffee was acceptable. But after several issues ordering a beer, I watched the server pour the beer into a plastic tub, then pour the tub into a glass, and finally use a knife and washcloth to make it look like a poured pint... I love this new location! It's got enough seating for a sizable crowd without being too overwhelming and they have the usual large menu to accommodate just about anyone's tastebuds. When we arrived, the place was popping and there was a bit of a line and wait. While waiting, my latte came out before my husband's drip coffee only for me to discover that he should have received that right after we paid. The person that waited on us at the register seemed to be a bit out of his element as I saw him in the kitchen the rest of the time we were there so it seemed to be a simple oversight and I'll know to ask for it in the future right away. The pastries we got out of the front case were absolutely delicious. However, the breakfast sandwich I ordered from the kitchen was tough to eat as the bread was simply not fresh and seemed overbaked. Next time, I'll skip the breakfast sandwich and focus on the fresh pastries. This new location is super conveniently located and I like the larger access to parking compared to their other locations so I'll probably be back! read more

Visit here twice a week with a few friends. We like their coffee products and have found the staff friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating options in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. However, I'm taking off a star for the ongoing filth within the seating areas. We've mentioned to them multiple times about the dirt, old food remnants, crumbs on tables and chairs, used napkins, cups & utensils, even a used plate that sat under a couch for a couple of days. We arrive first thing in the morning, so there's obviously no effort being made by the closing team. The standard response is, "We'll mention it." read more

I am a regular coffee bar customer I grab a coffee and get some work done and enjoy the decor and atmosphere. The biggest issue to me is it is SO DIRTY! I will post some pictures if I can of the dirts, dust, cobwebs, and food. There has been a half eaten cookie under the couch for 3 weeks now. My concern is if you can't wipe the tables down, dust, sweep, and mop how well do you keep the area you prep food. The fifth has become an issue so I will be thinking twice about coming to the coffee bar. read more

Love love the other locations, just not this one. Here the espresso drinks are made with shot, not two - so drinks are watery and flavorless. Staff are more interested in chatting with themselves than providing service, so getting your drink takes 15 minutes if not more. Overall lackluster and flat. read more

This place is cute! Have to come back again for pastries and drinks. My husband and I tried a couple of drinks and they were both good. We also got warm breakfast and pastries. I think they have a more limited selection of pastries compared to other coffee spots but it's enough. Every time I see the parking lot, it's relatively full. They do have a dirt lot across from them. The place is pretty busy when I first came and looking at how busy they are, I feel like it deters me from making a stop but that only means that people like the place. I'm glad for this new coffee shop since we really need new places that are different from a Starbucks. Only wish they have a drive thru! read more

Really gorgeous place! The inside is so unique and their merch (mugs, hats, sweatshirts, etc) is really nice. My only comment is that the "Saturday morning cartoons" coffee doesn't taste like I thought it would lol. I'm thinking okay based on the description it'll be kind of fruity and chocolatey, but really it just tastes straight up like a mocha. Still good, just not what I was expecting. I've been to Coffeebar twice. The first time I ordered their herbal tea, probably the best herbal tea I've experienced. The first time I ordered the blueberry muffin, the second time a banana chocolate muffin. Both were excellent and especially moist. I also was pleased with the taste of their coffee. I tried this place after my optometry appointment. I was very pleasantly surprised by it. I love the unique decor. I saw someone eating a pizza that looked delicious and decided I would get something to eat and not just a coffee. However, I noticed they had breakfast burritos and ordered one of those and then immediately canceled it because I noticed they had a Keto bowl on the menu. The Keto bowl was not exactly what I was expecting - it was far better!! Absolutely delicious. I ordered a cappuccino also and it was made to perfection with a heart design in the froth. It was obvious that the owners are environmentally and socially responsible and conscious. The coffee stir sticks appeared to be uncooked (dry) flat fettuccine which performed far better than round plastic straws. Overall I love the place and give it my highest recommendation. read more

We stop here every once in a while as it's the closest coffee to our house. My wife usually gets a sugar free vanilla latte. Well, they have the vanilla syrup stocked less than half the time. You'd think the manager would realize they should order more. Today was the worst experience that will keep us from spending another dime in this joint. Usually they have a really good breakfast panini for $8.95 that has egg and bacon. The wafy gen Z'er taking my order said they redid the menu so I asked if they still had a breakfast sandwich. She said they did and I asked if it had bacon and she responded "I don't know I DON'T EAT MEAT". So I said can I just get it and add bacon? When we got the sandwich it was literally on a hamburger bun and full of disgustingly spicy chipotle mayo, smooshy microwaved egg, and THEY FORGOT THE BACON. It cost me $12.50!! Neither of us could even eat it. It was so gross. Hiring woke, apathetic, snobby, gen Z types and having a politically divisive flag on their window should be all you need to know before you go in. I can't believe the management would make a menu change so so bad. I'd rather drink starbucks or gas station coffee than spend a dime here. read more

I'm not a regular coffee bar/shop visitor but I had a great experience for my first time going last week. Staff were super friendly and the food/ drinks were great. I was able to get my therapy notes done for work no problem. Gave this place two tries based on a coworker's rave review. First time, party of four on a weekday afternoon. Everything we wanted to order (pizzas, sandwiches) we couldn't have because they had run out of specific ingredients, so we defaulted to other items that proved to be mediocre at best, but not before being delivered another table's food in error (I guess the table number sign system doesn't work too well there). Also ordered a glass of red wine for $9.00 that turned out to be swill - completely undrinkable. After waiting a long time for our order, we ran out of time to eat because they announced that they were closing, even though their website said they were open later. The second time I went with someone else who had a gift card, thinking surely the first time was a one-off. No, the same poor service again! Add to that lukewarm tiny cups of overpriced latte and cappuccino with amateurish latte art attempts. This location needs to invest in some professional baristas, not amateurs, if they're going to brag about their coffee - it is called Coffeebar, afterall. The sandwich that was delivered to me was someone else's order - my sandwich never came after waiting another 15 minutes. Went to the counter to get a refund as we couldn't stay any longer - the clerk wasn't sure how to do it and eventually said he had to put it on another gift card since the original purchase was by gift card. We didn't want that since we both decided not to patronize this business, again - but we're stuck with the gift card now. This place is just another overhyped Reno restaurant trying to be Chicago or New York City quality. read more
