My nails are super short and so I understand that I'm a difficult customer, but every single worker came over to look at my nails and giggled about how bad they were! Made me feel soooooo great about myself. I got acrylics that were poorly put on and had acrylic under my nails too. They also didn't have any coffee??? Super misleading on the website. I went with my roommate who had longer natural nails than me, and she was offered drinks, a student discount, and had the same mail artist the whole time while I went through at least 4 different people. Will not be going back. read more

Not a bad option for the area and their electronic check in system makes this place stand out above other places. Prices are fair and they do a pretty good job with their service. Lots of nail colors to choose from and free wine! read more

this place wasn't terrible but wasn't the best either one they don't even offer coffee nor was i offered a drink there then i asked for pink french tips and he said okay and then gave me white french tips and then he didn't even ask me what shape i wanted it just started shaping them round and the website says you pay what you book online no surprise prices and so i was supposed to pay 60 from the website but they charged me 76 and at that they were super like thick and rounded and the tip is uneven so i had to come home and file them to my liking to make them slimmer and match my nail bed size so i don't think i'd come back again :/ read more

There is no coffee. If I could rate this place zero stars-that would be more appropriate. One the workers was cutting his toe nails. Then was scratching his private area. There was no personal space. And my nails, over priced and under serviced. I got a terrible full set of acrylic nails with designs. Acrylic should not be under the nails-yet it is. Just say no to this place. read more

Very hospitable upon entering but it was all downhill after that. My friend and I came in for the same service (dip nails) and we both already had a nail set. The guy did everything correct for my friend but the girl I got clearly didn't get the same memo. She completely took off my original set. My friend had her polish taken off and nails reshaped, then the new dip powder was put on. After I asked why I wasn't having done the same thing the woman responded with "she will, she will". I told her that I never wanted my old nails taken off to which she replied "It's too late, and a new set is $15" which is FAR too expensive. They were then put on terribly and shaped poorly. All in all the experience cost my $75. I will never recommend this place to anyone and hope they get it together in the future. read more

Zero stars! This is the WORST nail salon I've ever been to in my entire life. I came from San Antonio and needed a new set.I walked in and was stared down by 3 workers instead of being greeted. When I specified what I wanted I was told white powder acrylic alone would be $80 with a long length. Then to top it off they didn't have WHITE powder....how is that even possible? I was so insulted by her funky attitude that I asked for my nails to be taken off so I can leave and was still charged $10 for take off. Ridiculous prices and even more ridiculous attitude. I'll NEVER return and I HIGHLY advise that nobody comes here unless it's a LAST resort. You want good nails by real professionals? Go see Sophia at Envy nails! She hooked me up and she's great! read more

I decided to go here while I was in town for work because I desperately needed a nail redo. The last place I went to kind of botched my SNS and I have an important event this weekend. I LOVE THIS PLACE. If I lived in TX, I'd make Celfie my go-to salon. He did an absolutely amazing job and I'm in love with my nails. The salon was clean, professional, and totally cute. I highly recommend Celfie to anyone! read more

Wonderful place! The shop it well decorated, clean, and great music! The service here is great; amazing coffee, & a little shoulder massage during each nail session! I had a set done two weeks ago that I wasn't satisfied with, and the manager Bin, did a great job at reaching out to me and making sure I got a new set that I liked! They really do care about their customers! Awesome techs who know their stuff! Making this my "go-to" spot for sure! read more

I'd definitely come here out of convenience just because it's so close to the UT campus which I think makes it a hot spot for a lot of students. They work they do is good and they're friendly, but I just think they can get away with hiking up their prices because students will pay the premium to go to a place that's right next to campus. Environment is really nice and even a little on the fancier side I would say so that's a plus if that's something you like to have, but definitely not something that I was expecting or that I typically value a whole lot as long as the service performed is the best thing. I'd say I would come here again if I'm in a rush or don't want to make the effort to drive a little further from campus, but I've found places that I think do a better job than here, are more affordable, and really aren't much further away. So yeah this place is good, but I think a little more research and effort can lead you to somewhere better. But it's definitely just my opinion because this place is pretty good overall, just not my cup of tea I suppose! read more

Great location, great pricing and super nice nail techs! they totally understood what i was looking for and did a great job. most nail places i've been to take at least 2+ hours for a full set, but I was in and out of here in an hour! I'd go here again if I lived here! I wanted a paint job on my finger nails before a convention tomorrow. I had my toes done at my favorite place in Hurst, Texas, and wanted fingers to go with my toes. Didn't have time to get them done before my trip, so I Yelped a place close to where I am staying. Celfie popped up, so I gave it a shot. It's a funky little place, and it was busy, and they were willing to accommodate me anyway. The girl did a great job!!! It's worth it. I promise. read more

I'm in the hunt of a nail salon in Austin since I'm relocating and was recommended this location! Amazing!!! My gel mani/pedi was on point. While in a brief Austin layover I desperately needs my nails filled and gel painted before heading out... I came on on a Monday afternoon. It took one hour to the minute for a fill and gel polish on short nails. Not bad at all... Richard was my nail tech. A lefty... Maybe that influenced is attention to detail and doing such a wonderful job. He was very friendly and made pleasant conversation. The shop was small but relaxing.... No intensely harsh lighting, calming music and cut concept. Glitter and blue with "celfie" themed photos on one particular wall. The restroom walls are chalkboard where gusts can write fun notes and write their names. Everything was CLEAN and organized. I payed $38 for the service. Whenever I'm in Austin, I'll be sure to come back! Thanks Richard! read more

Celfie Nails Spa is the BEST nail salon near UT's campus and in the central Austin area. I can't recommend this salon enough, especially for students who go to UT and want an affordable but also high quality nail place! I started going to Celfie Nails Spa when I was an undergraduate at UT and continued going through graduate school. I've been going steadily for 3 years for manicures and pedicures--gel, dip, regular polish, all the things. The people who work at Celfie are friendly, personable, and truly professional. I always know I'll leave super happy and impressed with my nails. If you've landed on this review, quit looking for another nail salon and just go to Celfie Nails Spa. You will not be disappointed. read more

I had good faith coming here & I've over tipped on a few occasions but I'm NEVER going here again. I spent/tipped 155.20 dollars on a gel manicure and pedicure & this is what I get from Sammi after the gel manicure is taken off. My nails are ruined and stained blue and these pictures are AFTER another salon tried to the best of their ability to get the blue off my nails. This is as simple as her being upset and forgetting to put a base coat on my nails. Instead of the male manager refunding my money or being nice in any capacity to fix the situation they were greedy and decided to place blame on the other salon. My gel nail polish was already chipping off at work so I already saw the dark blue stained nails before it was all taken off. Pretty sad that this place doesn't understand the basic fundamentals of proper customer service. They will not accommodate you if you have an issue. Therefore, I will never come here again nor recommend this place to anyone ever again. (These photos are after a five star rated salon tried to get the blue off to the best of their ability. They informed me it could have gotten infected due to this salons mistake.) The irony is if you read the managers response they are still trying to place blame on others instead of simply admitting they made a mistake. I've had gel nails done numerous times before and this is 100% their fault. read more

Shocked one person can make such a difference. Nancy is no longer there so I took a chance and had Binz do a color change. Everything seemed to go well until the new color was applied. Bumpy, bubbles and to make makes worse... I was charged for a simple color change which usually is $5-$10 or was $5 to remove the previous color and $35 for the new color. Dead I'm the nail salon, over priced for less than average work. Disappointing read more

I've been here 2 times: once for a manicure, once for a polish change. Both times were awkward and disappointing. For my manicure, I had a rude woman who got annoyed I asked her nicely to file a rough edge down a little more before applying polish. The polish was applied hastily with no attention to detail, getting the polish all over my cuticles. She half-attempted to clean them up then told me to go sit at the drying station. I tipped, anyway, assuming she was just having a bad day. Because of all the great reviews and proximity to my house, I decided to stop by once more for a polish change, naively assuming I'd have a better experience this time. Nope. This time, I had an older man who was smoking outside roughly do my nails, applying thick coats of polish and stopping every few seconds to answer his cellphone. I didn't bother asking for anything to be corrected, just sat for a few minutes to let my nails dry enough to get my wallet out. I removed the still-wet polish as soon as I got home. The hunt for a good nail salon continues. read more

Standard pricing for manicures, gel and all that. I was given a gift card so I checked it out. They were all friendly. I didn't get my nail tech's name but she was nice, we had on and off conversation. I told her I was there to relax and it was my "happy hour". I was offered a beverage and she let me chill in silence. They were very busy and people just kept coming in. She took her time did it right. Salon was clean and they had movies playing with Christmas music. I am very happy I stopped in! read more

It takes a lot for me to write a poor review but my last experience will be my final visit. I've been coming to coffee and nails since they first opened. I've always had a good experience and I was happy that I found a place that didn't make me bleed whenever cutting my cuticles. About a week ago, I went in to get a dip and pedicure and expressed this when I checked it. Pedicure was perfect as usual. Next, I was asked to sit down and refill my acrylics. I explained that I wanted to do dip instead. Let me preface by saying I'm the type of person that once my nails grow out, I want them soaked and taken off because of the dirt left underneath the nails. The nail tech stated that he doesn't do dip and only does acrylic and it would be easier from HIM just to refill it. I explained that I wanted dip and the nails are too long and dirt was underneath the nails. He proceeded to do the dip but had an attitude about it stating, "what color green, yellow, nuuuuddddeee?" Again, the nails were expired so I choose nude get it over with. Not once was I given the option to choose a color. At this point, other clients were intrigued by our interaction. I'm not one for confrontation because I didn't want to disturb the clients around me. People spend good money for a relaxing time and I wasn't going ruin that by making a scene. Finally, he finished and placed a clear top on my nails and told me to wait two minutes. I lifted my left hand to move my wedding ring around and he forcefully laid my hands back down. I've always tipped well, I'm conservative and well mannered. I'm very confused why I was treated this way and I was mortified by this experience that I feel that customer service needs to be sincerely considered. I hope everyone never feels the way I did. No one should feel degraded, belittle and disregarded...EVER. Please do better and if you're having a bad day, don't take it out on others. read more

I'm a student at UT and coffee and nails is in a convenient location so I wanted to try it for some valentine's day nails. I went in for dip + tip french nail. I also kind of wanted a design so I asked the girl at the front how much it would be for a design in 1 nail. She told me $5 each finger. Didn't seem too bad because i planned on getting a design on both ring fingers. I got my nails done and liked them until i got up to the check out and she told me they were gonna be $85. I was confused because I was expecting max $75. $50 for french dip+ extension for 5 and then $10 for the designs i did. I ended up paying $100 with tip, left upset but I guess it was a lot of work in the end. HOWEVER, the real issue is is that I've had these nails for less than two weeks and my pinky finger popped off today. I wasn't doing any extreme activity, I hit my nail on my pants and it popped off. Really disappointing considering I've had dip nails with tip that have lasted at least a month without coming off. $100 nails should not be coming off. Also!!! The french tip chipped within a week because she used regular polish to paint it on... Everytime I've gotten dip french tip they've used dip powder to do the french tip. I also just read in a response from one of the managers here in the reviews below that they will not use regular polish because it chips.... so not sure why that happened. Extremely disappointed and will not be coming here again :) read more

Coffee n Nails is the one nail salon I always went back to however it's changed a lot and I'm unsure if I'll go back after my last two experiences. My last set (dip) was rushed and felt really thick and uneven and I was really unhappy with the end results. I get dip because it's thinner than acrylic and still ended up with thick ugly nails. Each time I brought up a concern to Jenny she brushed it off as something that will look fine in the end, but in the end I ended up paying $60 for something I really don't like (I also got charged an extra $5 for "long nails" - do these look long?). I brought it up to the manager (he's really helpful and nice!) who reshaped two of them but honestly it only did so much and I just really hate how they came out I had to take them off. Unless you're going to Bin or Nancy or Cindy, your nails will pretty much be hit or miss here. read more

First time here, but I really like it! First things first, I LOVE how many TV's they have, and the fact that the play awesome movies! I could stay here all day just watching movies. And also they have drinks! Wine, red bull, water, etc. Love it. I got a full set of acrylics from Paul. He told me the price up front ($45 for the full set, plus $15 for gel polish), asked detailed questions about the shape I wanted, and made sure that I was pleased throughout the service. He was super friendly, made me feel very comfortable, and we had some nice conversation. They have a HUGE selection of colors for gel polish. I've noticed in some other reviews that people have said the space is cramped, but I like it. It's not too cramped, and it's kind of like a hideaway. Hopefully my budget allows me to frequent this place, because I would love to come back! read more

I wish I could give zero stars. This salon is so unprofessional and poorly run that they do not deserve even 1 star. I was told that I would have to wait 10 minutes for a manicure and I am writing this after waiting over an hour. I was out in foils after 15 minutes and then sat with acetone and foils on for an hour. Each time I asked I was told five more minutes. It was ginormous waste of time and when I finally left, with no nails done at all, I was not given any sort of apology at all. Will never go back. read more

Celfie is a pretty decent nail spa located near St.David's hospital. I got a french pedicure done here for $30 (I believe). Sammi did a great job with the pedicure, but I was pretty sad that the color didn't last long. The place was pretty packed when I got there. But the wait was super short. They offer complimentary glass of wine, tea, and water. I liked how they decorated the walls with "selfie pictures" - very original and interesting. I have been to this nail salon a few times before but the service I received yesterday was terrible. They were very busy I do understand that, but when your friend starts her gel mani at the same time yours does, and finishes 15 minutes after you, it's a little annoying. The lady that did my manicure kept watching the people filing into the salon, pushed way to hard on my cuticles and continued to do so when I winced and pulled my hand away. She gave me a "massage" which honestly made me laugh because it was so short and rough. Not going back here. read more

the dip nails are fantastic here!! and the people are very friendly. they asked multiple times throughout the process if i liked the shape, color and overall product. they also offer drinks and accept walk ins immediately for a busy sunday. my only note, if i'm nit picking, is that the dip is a little on the thick side (which is expected and good for long lasting nails but looks a little funny from some angles) regardless definitely recommend!! read more
