This place is practically right outside of the dirt lot at Knott's, so if you need a pick me up after a long day at the park, this place is a good choice! It's literally ~2 blocks away off the same street as the parking lot (same side of the street, too). I got the vanilla latte and my husband got the horchata latte (both iced). The drinks def had a kick to them (thank god, we're also parents of a toddler lol), which the employee warned us about and she wasn't lying. Loved the idea of the coffee iced cubes. It creates a drink that keeps on giving lol. The inside of the place is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. It must be a popular spot because there wasn't an empty table at 4pm on a Sunday. read more

I came to try this popular item, peanut butter cream latte, since everyone raved about it in the reviews. I typically like sweet , milky and creamy lattes and was expecting that with this one. Whoa, those espresso ice cubes really make a difference in the drinks after a while! Instead of diluting the coffee, it sort of makes more coffee! Ingenious...now I want to make my own haha. Coffee Code is tucked in a small plaza across the street from Knott's parking. The interior is bright and clean with a modern, natural feel. Each table was taken up with people on their laptops (working, studying, chilling). Staff are friendly and helpful, and they whip up drinks quickly and expertly. Not only did our coffees look pretty, but they were also delicious. Definitely a nice place to be at, and it's worth the drive up to Buena Park. Iced Strawberry Latte: 5/5, strawberry syrup was used, but it did not have an artificial fruity taste! I don't usually go for fruit-flavored lattes, but this one pleasantly surprised me and my friends. The barista said this was one of their most popular drinks, and I can see why. Just try it! Iced Demerara Latte subbed with whole milk instead of oat milk: 4/5, had the nice crunchy sugar crystals, probably not meant to fully dissolve in the drink? It's also not as sweet as I thought it would be, despite using that special sugar for flavor and sweetness. It reminded me of one similar to Blue Bottle's. Iced White Chocolate Latte: 5/5, sweet and creamy without overpowering the coffee taste. Does not taste like your average white chocolate mocha from Starbucks, that's for sure. This is WAY better - I thoroughly enjoyed it even with the melted espresso cubes after a couple of hours. read more

I have visited Coffee Code a few times now. I've always been pleased with my visits. It is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. There's tables indoor and outdoor. Restroom is in the back and is clean. Customer service has always been amazing. My fave is the coconut mocha. Hits the spot every time! I would definitely recommend! read more

Came to this location because I love the fullerton one but this was closer to my church so I decided to give it a try. Service was really good but I ordered a hot vanilla latte for here and was disappointed that it 1. not only came in a to-go cup, but 2. there was so much foam I had to scrape off on top of my coffee. The photo I attached is how much of my latte that was remaining after scraping the foam off the top. The muffin was standard but every cafe has almost the same pastries. Would recommend not sending out hot drinks until the employee is approved of properly steaming the milk. read more

I got the fresh fruit waffle and chocolate waffle to share. I always gets the drink here so it was my first time trying the waffles and it exceeded my expectations. Strawberry Latte - 10/10 would recommend. They have coffee ice cubes, which helps any drink to not be watered down. Whenever I'm in the area, I always make sure to stop by. They have a variety of pastries that I'm hoping on trying. There is wifi, so you can do work there! Music isn't too loud and but if it's packed and people are chatting it can get a bit loud. While in a small plaza, there's always parking! read more

The signature strawberry latte is delicious. There is ample lighting for studying, soft music, and plenty of seating. The service at the front are friendly. Prices range from $5-$10 depending on what you get. It sure if there are refills like Starbucks but it doesn't hurt to ask. read more

Came here with my fiance to get some work done and yap. Seated right away, drink came out quick. First strawberry latte that I actually enjoyed, sweet but not too much but can def taste the strawb flavor. Nice minimalist wooden interior vibe, diff from its outside signage for sure. I think it's very unfortunate and disrespectful that they kick people out just because they don't buy anything from there. I have never experienced going to a cafe and HAVING to buy something from there in order for me to stay. I been to plenty of cafes where I sometimes don't feel like buying a coffee or a pastry and just want to have a spot to study since this is my best way to study with no distractions and never have I ever been said "you need to leave if you don't buy anything" So if you guys go, just know you're obligated to buy something which is ridiculous. read more

Coffee Code is near Knott's in Buena Park, and I stopped by for a late afternoon to get some work done. I'm usually a fan of regular lattes, but I tried their Demerara Oat Latte. I'm not a fan of syrups, but I gave the Demerara sugar bits a try, and there were many crystals to bite. Overall, a good latte that - to my knowledge - is unique to this location. Outside of the coffee, Coffee Code's lounges are a nice, quiet place to spend a lazy afternoon. Parking is easy, tables are clean, and there is much seating. I'm looking forward to my next time here when I visit Buena Park again. read more

As per the recommendations, I got the strawberry latte with oat milk. I loved the espresso taste, as I love a medium roast latte, and the strawberry tasted authentic and came through nicely. The cafe also has lots of natural lighting and plenty of small tables for studying or catching up with friends. The baristas are also very accommodating and helpful. This is a terrific coffee house. The walls are bare and it's very sleek and modern looking (not my style, to be honest) but the coffee and food are top notch. We tried a variety of coffee drinks and they were all very good. The "Sweet Chocolate Waffle" is a thing of beauty. You start with a huge freshly-made waffle, add some whipped cream on top sides, and then add chocolate sauce, sliced grapes and bananas. Oh right, you also get two big scoops of chocolate ice cream on top. How you like me now? This thing was delicious and very shareable. They also have a variety of croissants and other baked goods. This place was very clean, bright and friendly. The food was great, we ordered waffles with the fruit and ice cream and it was so picture worthy and yet so delicious! I also order the Ice vanilla latte, I'd say it was good but not amazing but still very happy with my visit. I would recommend anyone near to stop by. Honestly I have little to no complaints! My family and I have been chilling here on occasion for years and their drinks have just been getting better and better. PARKING: Can get busy but it's not difficult to park. In the same plaza as Odori Sushi (behind the Chase bank). VIBES: Casual, cute. Lots of people here to study or to chill with friends, and there's plenty of seating too. Not the best on a weekend though, as it gets crowded. SERVICE: Quick and easy. You order at the register and you can see very clearly how they make your drinks. It's pretty cool, as they have a lot of cool equipment. DRINKS: The iced strawberry latte is GREAT with oat milk! I tried one with normal milk too and there's a clear difference. I recommend the oat for sure! FOOD: Waffles are pretty standard, and it's a great dish to share with a group. I'm sad they no longer have mochi waffles though. read more

Ambiance & atmosphere: a cozy little shop perfect for catching up with friends or studying! My friend and I went to study on a Wednesday afternoon and ended up staying for a couple of hours. They had a good music playlist going, so I didn't mind listening to their selection while studying. The noise level was fairly low, but when people were waiting in line or chatting, it could get a bit noisy due to the shop's smaller size. However, it's nothing a good pair of noise-canceling headphones or earbuds can't handle. Coffee: I ordered the iced strawberry latte and loved it! I'm a sucker for anything strawberry-flavored, so the mix of coffee and strawberry was perfect for me. I also appreciated that they used coffee ice cubes, so the drink didn't get watered down as the ice melted. Seating, wifi, and outlets: ample seating was available, especially given the shop's smaller size. The shop had free wifi, perfect for studying. While I didn't use the outlets, I noticed there were a few available, along with some extension cords, which is convenient. Location & parking: conveniently located just down the street from Knott's Berry Farm, with easy parking in their free private lot. You need to be lucky enough to get a seat along the walls to get to the extension cords. I will add that parking was a breeze given there were a few restaurants next door. Need your K-Pop fix or better yet, just a really great desserts/coffee space? Coffee Code fits the bill. Drinks and desserts are amazing here. I've had both the brown grain smoothie and a strawberry coffee-like drink that were both very good. My friend got the Affogato which is coffee with ice cream and said it was absolutely one of the best desserts he's had in a long time. The mochi waffle here as well (which is exactly what you think it is) was an absolute sugary treat. Also enjoy some cool latte art here as well as well as great dessert design. Parking is usually not too bad in it's small lot and the decor is a mix of a French cafe and a Korean-inspired shop with K-Pop on the TVs. Really, Coffee Code is one of the best little cafes in the area and is well-deserving of your time. read more

Tried to look for a near by coffee shop to get some work down. I didn't want to go to a typical chain so I found this place on Yelp. They were just opening up it seems and there were big lines... Even though it was busy, they took orders really quickly and I noticed they also served hot items. Huge pastries that went well with the coffee. I was amazed at how many people were ordering such sweet and syrupy bread but they were also eating it with fruits so maybe it balances it out. I just ordered a simple iced coffee and the guy who was the barista made good suggestions. Friend got the mocha. It was both pretty good, they also do latte designs so it is pretty aesthetic. The staff was kind and patient. For the busy line they were really efficient and quick on making the menu items. read more

We went to Knotts Berry Farm , Thru Yelp found Coffee Code was impressed by thier number of positive reviews , This place is not as good as its hyped to be ,The exterior of the place is very dirty and unkept, No greetings or acknowledged gesture. My Vienna coffee latte was cold to drink suppoosed to be hot drink , The Berry waffles looked good as far as presentation by lacks a good taste profile.The cost of 2 beverages and Berry Waffles was expensive . I've been coming here since they first opened and then forgot about this gem for a while and re discovered it again this year after my mom and my sisters started coming again . The staff is so friendly they remember my drink and always make me feel at home. It is worth the 18 min drive it takes to get there . I use to live down the street but the coffee is so good and the staff is so friendly I don't mind driving just to get this coffee. such a cute place! first of all, the staff/servers are really friendly! shared the Berry-berry waffle everybody is talking about with my friends....and it was really good. I recommend that for sure.~~ The hazelnut latte...and the brownie w/ ice cream was just an OK though. The latte was on the sweet/watery side...I recommend it for people who do not really like strong coffee as much.
