Went here to try it after seeing all the hype on Instagram. I was not sure what to order.. so the first time I went with what I knew I would be okay with and that was the 2 Ladies. I am not a huge fan of Tapicoa but gave it a chance. The Milk Tea was okay, kind of average. I can understand why people think it is watery, the flavor is not as 'strong' as others. My boyfriend got the Lemon King which was good but expensive for what it was. They also forgot the boba the first time around so I had to go back and tell them. My friend ended up getting the Fresh Grapefruit Yakult and that was my probably the best out of the 3 for the price. The tables always seem to be full and this place is very very small. I would not recommend going here if you want to spend a lot of time chatting. I would get your drink to go and go somewhere else. The cleanliness of this place is also just average. Sometimes the tables are dirty from little spills or the trash is full and no one is tending to either of them. With that said, if you are in the area, this place could be a contender for bbt. I've been to CoCo a handful of times since they opened at this Bellevue location, and they have not let me down! Well maybe except the first visit during their soft opening when they ran out of straws and we had to just pour the toppings into a different cup to enjoy it. The interior feels cozy and warm, with booth-like seatings towards the back of the store, which is comfortable for you and your friends to gather and talk. I've only been to CoCo during nighttime, and lines to order can get quite busy, so I can't say the same for the daytime. My personal favorite is their three guys milk tea which has tapioca, grass jelly, and egg pudding. And of course I get the large because it's so delicious! I find myself constantly craving their milk tea, so I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Unfortunately, this didn't compare to the better bubble tea places like Sharetea and Seattle Best Tea. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon and you would think the hype had died down, but it didn't. There were 3 groups in front of me before I could order my drink. I got the Bubble GaGa, which was Passion Fruit Tea with Boba and Coconut Jelly. First of all, the Large size seemed smaller than other Bubble Teas I've gotten in the past. Also, the amount of ice seemed more than usual as well. By the time I finish other Bubble Teas, the ice had almost melted or there would be small remnants and I would be able to eat up the rest of the Boba and Jelly. When I finished this drink, there was a quarter of the ice still left in my cup. There was just too much ice for me to pick through the Boba. On the plus side, I did enjoy the Passion Fruit Tea. It had a good sweetness to it. I would order this drink again, but probably with less ice. It's nice to have another Bubble Tea shop in Bellevue. I still prefer Drive Thru Boba and Blank Space Cafe, but I'll come back here again just to change it up. I just won't have as high expectations. read more

This spot was a frequent one for me when I lived in NYC, so I was happy to see such a familiar bubble tea spot here! Whenever I'm here, I get the Passionfruit Green or Black Tea..because it's so refreshing..especially when you are quenched! And when the cashier was taking my order, she asked me how much sugar I wanted, or if at all, which I loved because I don't like added sugars in my bubble tea, so it's awesome that CoCo has this option for customers. You can also customize how much ice you want, too. The only minor issue is that it took quite a bit to get the tea. The place was packed, so assumed it would take longer, but I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my tea. However, once I had the Taro Milk Tea it was unbelievable! Seriously, this is the best Taro Bubble Tea I've ever had! It is so abundant in taro flavor, which was awesome because I love taro-flavored anything! So to get so much of the flavor had me instantly become a fan of CoCo. Having been recently introduced to matcha flavor, I was craving to try matcha tea while I was in Bellevue. Since this place was closer from Bellevue square and opened until 10 pm decided to give it a try. I ordered the matcha milk tea and was surprised to see I could control the portion of sugar and ice. Since I added an additional on of coconut jelly , I opted for 50 percent of sugar only. The baristas are also very helpful and will inform you if the drink will be too sweet or if you selected portions of sugar will go along with the drink. I also ordered chocolate caramel for my husband. The matcha milk tea tasted heavenly and I loved it. It wasn't too sweet as well. The coconut jelly went well with the tea. We ordered both at 70% sugar (the max) and with less ice. The tea didn't have as bold a flavor as I'd like, but it was good. The tapioca had a good chew to it, though I would've liked it to be slightly sweeter as well. They seemed a tad disorganized as they had made and set quite a few drinks on the counter before they started actually calling out orders. I assume that'll get worked out as they continue to ramp up. After ordering, I asked about parking and was told that parking is free for Coco Fresh customers in the Courtyard by Marriot parking lot. Its entrance is on 110th Ave. Park in the area for retail. I checked the website before arriving - didn't matter since the in-store menu is quite different. I got a Coco milk tea with sago and hubbie got a brown sugar pearl roasted milk tea, both full sugar. The teas were ready in 10 seconds, maybe less! Full sweet is very sweet (I usually love full sweet, but this is too sweet even for me). The teas were full flavored and creamy, the sago and boba fresh and chewy, and the service was friendly and astonishingly fast. For every decent one, there are a dozen oversweetened and underflavored tea shops, mediocrity buried under a menu so intimidatingly large that whatever tea just so happens to be passably good is impossible to locate. Fortunately, CoCo is one of the good ones. I went after lunch with some friends from work - bless having an office right next to the Bellevue Transit Center - and we all got the pearl roasted milk tea (looking at recent reviews, it looks like one of my friends beat me to the punch on this one. Hi Allison!). Though I'm no connoisseur, I really enjoyed my drink - not too sweet and with an interestingly smoky flavor, it's a tea I'll certainly get again if and when I go back. I don't think CoCo is exceedingly memorable - this isn't a boba I'll gush to my friends about - but it's certainly worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. Came here for the first time per a friend's recommendation and although the staff was very friendly and insightful. I felt the drinks were alright. The boyfriend and I ordered pearl roasted milk tea and taro milk tea with pearls. The taro reminded me of another Boba joint that we used to go to and tastes light and creamy. It wasnt bad but it didn't wow us either. The roasted milk tea had a slight nutty type of flavor to the tea, I didn't like it that much but I may come back and try their original milk tea. The location is a little inconvenient for those of us who drive to this place. If you're heading west on NE 8th st, you will see the boba place on your right hand side. There is parking along the street where the Marriott courtyard is however, its very rare that those spots are vacant during the day time. What's nice is that there actually is free parking INSIDE the Marriott garage. Once you get to the garage, take a LEFT for retail parking. Beware though if you are a car enthusiast, like myself and you have a low car, you might scrape going up and over the hump towards the 2nd floor as well as dealing with the steepness while exiting the garage. Make sure you utilize both lanes to slant your way down without doing damage to your vehicle. LOL! I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with this place! Decided to have a quick study session here tonight, especially since they had wi-fi and it was worth it. Coming in the place, you definitely get a lively vibe. The place feels refreshing and bright. I'd say there's a pretty good amount of seating. They have a good selection of drinks for their menu and it's nice to choose between a medium and large size for drinks. The large is probably the size you're accustomed to in a lot of bubble tea shops, so think of the medium as a smaller size. But let's move on to drinks, shall we? It was hard to decide, but my friend and I settled on the roasted milk tea and the caramel milk tea, both with the pearls. We ordered and got our drinks in pretty much no time, which is a plus to have quick and easy service. Where to start? The pearls were cooked to perfection. They weren't overly sweet and drenched in syrup, and they had the perfect chew to them. Every bite was enjoyable. The milk teas had impeccable flavor. You get a good punch of whatever flavor is mixed with the milk tea. The roasted milk tea had a pleasant charred flavor that helped the drink end on a sweet note with every sip. The caramel was delightful and wasn't like a caramel apple type of caramel, but more like the caramel you'd have with flan. The best kind. We got regular sweetness for ours and admittedly, it was definitely helping to curb our dessert cravings. I'd say get less sweetness if you just want enough flavor, but if you really want something sweet, get regular sweetness. It's not sweet to the point where you feel like you'd develop diabetes though! Most definitely will come back for these two flavors and to try more. When in Bellevue, we're always stopping by Coco! By far, still one of my favorite bubble tea places, especially for Matcha drinks. If you're looking for real matcha, Coco is the real deal. At least with Coco, I know I'm not buying a $5 drink that's just milk and a hint of matcha and their tea doesn't give you a weird after taste! So honestly, you're paying quality tea, but I'm sure there's plenty of other bubble tea that I haven't tried and slightly cheaper. So whenever I'm nearby, I'm usually ordering a matcha drink with 70% sugar! And my SO must grabs will always 3 guys with 70% sugar and less ice. And Oh! I love Coco. There are some great boba cafes near my workplace but I keep coming back to CoCo's day after day. The Bellevue location has great service, is well maintained, and always serves high quality drinks. It's walking distance from my office and I usually make the trek down once a week to get my fix. The grapefruit green tea and 3 Guys are my favorite. The grapefruit green tea is so refreshing on a hot day and the tartness balances out the sweetness. It's not overly sweet at all and I feel fresh after drinking a cup. The 3 Guys is a little heavier, milk tea with tapioca, grass jelly, and pudding. It's like a circus in my mouth with all the textures and flavors and I love getting it every once in a while. You can switch out the 3 Guys milk tea base for green tea if you want a lighter drink. The seating is limited here and it's mostly a grab and go place. It also gets pretty hot on some days in the summer. I've tried the mango, lemon & grapefruit yakult options. I enjoy all three, but I think the lemon one is my favorite. Also love that they have sago as an option. Sago are smaller tapioca pearls frequently used in Filipino drinks & desserts. My one gripe is that their pick up process is a little confusing.
