    Amber Oolong Milk Tea
    Justin C.

Teazzi is a really great addition to boba options on Mercer Island. The inside features a kiosk that you self-serve order from and there is a small amount of seating inside. They also have started making mochi waffle dippers with a cream. I would definitely get it again if I was in the mood for a sweet treat. In my opinion, a bubble waffle from happy lemon is better but it's a good option if you don't want to go far from the island. This is definitely a place that I will frequent. Staff: Nice (4/5) Sanitation status: Clean (5/5) Amber Oolong Milk Tea (5/5) This drink is really good, I think there is a good amount of roast flavor in this drink where it taste more caramelized. I recently tried this with the tea jelly topping and it was really good. I couldn't distinguish which tea base they used for the jelly but it's on the sweeter side for sure.

It's so nice to have a legit boba shop on Mercer Island! You can order online via the SnackPass app and it's usually ready within 10 minutes of ordering. I usually get either their jasmine milk tea or the peach oolong which are both really good. They use real peaches so their peach teas have a nice peach flavor. They also have jasmine tea jelly as a topping which is pretty unique and has a strong tea flavor. Free parking in the back parking structure. Sometimes they also have some free samples out which is pretty nice to try out some of their drinks.

Super cool to have the first Teazzi in Washington! A bit out of the way but probably a good thing to spread out from all the spots in Seattle proper. Reviews seem to note some bad experiences during initial opening, which I can understand. Service is still wonky, they don't really interact with customers. Cash register closest to door has a sign that asks customers to please order to the right on kiosk, but it's written in Chinese. I saw some customers stand there patiently but didn't get any help, so had to point towards the kiosk. Great for introverts though! They also automate the calling of order numbers, so zero interaction needed. House Special Milk Tea - this comes with boba and oats. Oats may sound weird, but it's one of their specialties. Think overnight oats, but make it boba. Skipping a meal for boba doesn't always work, but this is a decent alternative. Tea was pure and evident. They honor sugar levels well.

expensive and mediocre. Don't be fooled by the snazzy new interior and the drink names. Almost everything is 8$ after tax, and at 30% sugar (recommended on the ordering pad) it is somehow still waaaaaaaaay too sweet. I love sugar, but the balance on that is way off. I can't imagine what 100% sweetness would be if 30% tastes like a cup of syrup. It's self-order only and the menu is a mess, so there's always gonna be a line, even if there are only two or three customers inside. The front counters were not open for ordering when I visited and I don't know why. There's also no AC inside so if it's a warm day, be prepared to feel the stuffiness. Everything still smelled like paint. I want to love this place and I specifically went to Mercer island to find this shop. It felt like such a scam to walk away with a 9$ tea drink that tastes like what you can get at sharetea for much less. Unless something changes (mainly the price) I won't be back.

Self serve kiosks and busy counter

We were excited to try teazzi since we heard the store is very authentic. We arrived around 3pm on a Saturday and there was a line. Parking was relatively easy and free in the garage. The store itself is minimalistic, but well decorated. There was a 20 minute long line for kiosk self service ordering. On our way out we realized the line was only for one kiosk, but there were actually 3, but no staff had said anything or redirected us. The staff were very busy and did not provide much customer service except for checking drinks, but even when my drink was ready I had to wait an additional 5 mins before someone was able to approve me taking it. The tea itself was LEGIT. We bought an oolong amber milk tea with honey. The customization is pretty standard. The downside was they ran out of boba and about 7 other drinks and also did not have teazzis infamous floam. The price was standard at about $7-8 a cup. Overall, great tea, mediocre customer service, decent ambiance, standard price. Would come back for the quality tasting tea!

Nice flavorful tea flavor, generally great toppings, the only bad topping is the mochi. Do not get the mochi. It's slimy and takes away from the taste. Oats are great, tea jelly is very good. My favorite drink is roasted along with tea jelly, no ice, 30%. The house special is also great. they were very good about letting me use my glass jar to be eco-friendly. I also bring my own metal straw. So happy to finally have good milk tea/boba on Mercer island!

Jasmine milk tea and tofu milk tea

I love the design of the cups here but the drinks could use more work. The Jasmine tea was flavorful but the black tea was too light. The tofu texture in my drink was pretty good where it came out smooth. We came here on a Saturday and it was busy but service was quick. We had a hard time finding parking so maybe plan for that.

Teazzi drink served in what cup?!

The prime example of 'anyone can run a boba tea business but only a few can do it well'. Upon entering the store, it felt like the shop was still under remodeling, from the lack of warmth, non-existent decoration and furniture, to the 'order here's handwriting on the wall pointing at the lone POS kiosk. The room feels like an empty chamber with no music, with no soft surface to absorb the sound, the store simply doesn't feel welcoming at all. Moving on to the POS, it's impossible to order drink with BOGO promotions given the confusing user interface, the staff simply gave us the 'get one's drink after placing one order. Finally the drink, oolong sea salt milk tea, which is almost $8 including tax. The drink was served in a small, flimsy disposable cup that has no company brand. Ashamed to be known, or it's supposed to be a sample, perhaps? Milk in the drink is rich but the tea is almost nowhere to be found. Bad experience overall.

Good place to get tea in Mercer island. Good and interesting flavors. Nothing special or spectacular in my opinion. I got the house special milk tea, the oats were a unique but not my favorite taste.

Peach green milk tea (left) and tofu roasted oat milk tea

Clean interior and modern looking. The tea choices are pretty interesting and alright. I got the peach green milk tea which was pretty good. It was green milk tea with peach bits but it was like peach pulp so it infused with the tea a bit. It was good and wasn't artificial flavoring which I like. The roasted tofu one was alright, the tea was light and a lot of the flavor came from the after taste. The tofu itself is light and melts in your mouth a bit easily. If it was thicker in texture that would be pretty great but overall it was good.

time stamp of 25+ minute wait
    Kayla L.

Not worth the price or wait. Drinks tasted water down, probably because we waited over 25 minutes for our four drinks. We watched 3+ groups that arrived after we already ordered receive their drinks before us. We had four drinks and watched at least 10 drinks get ordered and finished before we got ours. We waited 25+ minutes for our drinks to be made when the screen said it would be an estimated 13 minutes wait initially. Light, decent tea flavor but again tasted watered down. Boba was good but not worth it.

A familiar and well established bubble tea brand from NYC, Teazzi is a welcome addition to the Mercer Island/Seattle area. They just opened a few days ago and offer your standard fare of pure, milk, and fruit teas. It has been one of my go to shops in NYC when I'm there, and the newly opened Seattle location lives up to the same standard. We waited about 20 minutes (very popular right now), but the interior of the shop will be a nice space to hang out once the crowds die down. I tried their peach green milk tea and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh fruit chunks that were used. The boba pearls were also well cooked, and tea flavor was overall strong. Will make this a new stop when in the area (about 3 minutes off of I-90). Hopefully they enable the mobile ordering on SnackPass soon!

Delicious, fresh, and fully customizable! There is an impressive variety in flavours and the tea always tastes strong and freshly brewed. I love that their lattes are mostly lactose free and use oat milk. The staff are friendly and there's always samples or promotions in store.

But coming back now and getting the guava grape and a pistachio cloud jasmine tea I was much more impressed. Both very good though not in my top tier echelon of tea shop quality. The shop is EXTREMELY small in a width kind of way with zero seating or even countertops to lean against really. The door is also where the line starts so it can awkward if even 1 person is inside waiting in line as it can block the entrance. Also the wait here also always seems quite long as I think they get a LOT of mobile orders so even if you see the shop empty take a look at the # of orders they're working on on the TV if you want to see how crowded they are. They are very professional though and will tell you how long the wait is if it's long, I usually wait 15-20 min each time I order here. I think they blew up in China as a luxury brand, people who even hire others to wait in the long lines in China for them to get the tea! I think they are about using high quality tea in freshly made drinks as kind of their tagline. Definitely worth a try especially for the seasonal fruit drinks I'd say.

This one is a bit off for me compared to the others in the Bay and NYC, but its great to see that its expanding. I love their expanded menu of drinks that appeals to a larger number of flavors. Coconut Mango Boom - I'm not sure what's wrong with this version but something is off balance from the usual. I think the ratio of mango smoothie was not enough so it was starting to taste like a bowl of sago in coconut milk. This drink is only delightful when that perfect balance is maintained. Food & drink: (5/5) I got the ube s'more float and my partner got the Thai tea with cream. The float consists of Thai tea on the bottom, ube and tea soft serve on top, and ube marshmallow around the rim. It was my first time ever having OMO and my first time having ube and Thai tea together so I was very intrigued. Needless to say, they made a very good combo. I would describe the flavor as kind of earthy from the tea and custard-like from the ube. The marshmallow was pleasant for the first couple bites but by the end was a little too sweet. I got a sip of my partner's drink and it was also very good, though I can't say that I prefer it over a regular Thai tea without the additional cream. I'm hoping to come back to try the kaya toast and ube hot chocolate. Service: (5/5) We came in a rush at about 7:40pm because we were scared of a potential last call but they actually accepted orders until the very last minute. It's a very small store with only a front counter and one kiosk, and you wait in a line outside. It's definitely a different system compared to most places but they make great use out of their space. There was one worker very efficiently guiding the line and several others behind the counter, making drinks pretty fast.

Unfortunately I found this place just to be OK for me... Perhaps OMO was bit a hyped up for me or maybe I didn't get the right thing... hard to say. The venue is a tiny hole in the wall in the corner of a residential apartment complex. Street parking is your only option. Order form the kiosk and the little kitchen window will call out you number. They are fast and efficient. There is some eccentric limited seating outside in the front of store. More decorative than practical. #Overhyped Treat: OMO Dessert (IN STORE ONLY): ~ Ube S'mores Thai Tea Float - 3/5 While this looked brilliant, I fear it was just OK for me; definitely the case of looks better than it tastes. The presentation was absolutely brilliant! However I thought the taste fell short of the visual delight. The Ube S'mores was more like a light Ube foam instead of Marshmallow Ube S'mores. I didn't think the the Thai Tea or Ube flavor was impactful, I felt both flavors were muted and fairly light. I'll try this place again and order a few items just to be sure... but I won't have high expectations. I do wish to them well and hope they continue to thrive...
