I decided to give this place another chance since I was in the area craving bubble tea. One of my friends recommended that I get the sago taro milk tea. I added boba in it and I was not disappointed! I actually wish I got the large size because it was delicious. It had the right amount of flavor and balance with the jellies. We came here on a late Saturday afternoon and the line was going out the door, but it moved pretty quickly. We only waited a little over 5 minutes to get our drinks. It was extremely hot inside because the shop is so small and there were a lot of people, so we went to a plaza nearby to enjoy our drinks. Parking is easy to find just around the corner at the Marriott Court Hotel garage. tl;dr - great drinks, consistently good boba This is currently my favorite milk tea place in Seattle area. The milk tea has good flavor and the boba has been consistently great texture. My usual order is a large Two Ladies with 70% sugar. It's a milk tea with boba and pudding. I've also tried the Three Guys which is milk tea with boba, pudding, and grass jelly. I really like grass jelly but I felt like the herbal flavor clashed with the pudding a little. If you want something a little more refreshing, the Bubble Gaga is a passionfruit tea with boba an coconut jelly. Parking is a bit tight but I've always had luck on the side streets. Another boba shop in Bellevue and yes, this one is good too! It's a bit hard to find and the parking can be tough (park at the Marriott's retail parking) and their menu online is nothing like the in-store menu (boo!) I got a mango smoothie for my coworker which she loved and I ventured out and got a mango green tea sago drink! Yum and super juicy and fresh! I got 50% sweet and it was definitely plenty sweet (could even have taken it down another notch but maybe they did use fresh mango??). I walked here during my lunch break a little after 1pm, and it was pretty busy inside. It took me about 15 minutes to get in and out. I ordered the Fresh Grapefruit Green Tea, which they are having a special sale on until the end of December (I think it was on sale for $3.75 from $4.25). The tea was good. I got the mango slush with sago!! It was so amazing. It was my first time having sago! It is pretty much a clear little ball or tapioca. And wow do i love sago more than tapioca!! I got the 30% sweetness for my slush and it still had a ton of flavor to it and was sweet! I personally wouldn't go higher than 30%. I've been to many CoCos around the world (LA, NY, Asia) and it's safe to say that this CoCos is the WORST location I've ever been to. Still in their "soft" opening stage, the location of this CoCos is questionable at best. It's on the outskirts of a Marriott and there is no real street parking. Apparently there is parking inside the garage of the Marriott that you can park for free. Anyhow, when you step into the shop, the logistics of the place is poor. As to be expected, there was a huge line of customers curious to see what CoCos is all about. People were extremely confused on where to stand when coming in. The pick-up counter is right next to the cashier so there's minimal room to move in the place. You definitely feel squished. The operations of the shop could use a huge upgrade. The customer service here is PISS POOR. Tommy, the cashier, has a nasty attitude. You can hardly understand him (thick accent) and blamed the slow service on their own inefficiencies. They don't make drinks by numeric order so you shouldn't expect your order numerically. So then, what are the point of numbers? For their soft opening, they limited the menu to 10 drinks, without customization, which mind-boggles me. I wanted the sago taro milk tea without sago and with regular boba. They said they couldn't do that. How is that possible? Sago (mini boba) isn't made with the taro milk tea. When you pour the milk tea in the cup, you skip the step where you pour the sago and you just pour regular boba into the cup. Is it that hard? Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. OMG how did I not know about this place or hear about it?! Kudos to my brother & his gf who suggested it! Met them up here and wow, it kind of reminded me of a sharetea establishment a little bit (& I do like sharetea!). Had only a couple of people ahead of us in line which my brother said is rare because the last time they came, line was out the door and starting to wrap around the corner. We ordered the passionfruit/mango slush, jasmine MT, taro MT and mango smoothie with milk and ALL with Sago. My brother kept telling me the SAGO is a MUST HAVE, & now I see why! At first I thought he was describing it as a clear chewy texture that sounded like crystal boba (white version of honey boba) but apparently it's smaller and a bit different. I can't really describe it myself except maybe a similar version to aloe LOL. Anyway, we tasted all the drinks and every single one was perfect. The sago topping made each drink much more satisfying and enjoyable. THE PARKING GARAGE connected to the Marriott Hotel sucks though. It's one of those stupid garages that is a dead end so if it's full, you gotta reverse your way out. I recommend finding parking nearby on the street! We went today on a saturday and lucky to find some free street parking for 2 hours. A couple of downsides though. I wish they had a stamp card or a rewards thing like most bubbletea joints do. Plus.. picking up the drinks right next to the register isn't really a good flow since everyone is already crowding in line to order, yet you have everyone crowding the same area waiting for their drinks. After letting them know, they still made other people's order first! The lady did not apologize sincerely - said something real fast and turned around with no eye contact. I would only give this place 1 star but my husband liked the flavor. The store was pretty clean, the guy would wipe off the water on the drink before handing out and tapiocas were good. Apparently all of Bellevue had the same craving because the line was out the door and I spent roughly 30 minutes waiting. There isn't a whole lot of seats inside, would be cool if they had patio seating, but they have some space restrictions in this current location (someone help expand to Mercer island!!) I waited in line and already had my heart set on trying something different. Ended up ordering 2 drinks because I really wanted the long wait to be more than just worth it. I ordered the original pearl milk tea (as usual, extra pearls!) and the fresh grapefruit green tea. The grapefruit green tea is out of this world. I am a huge grapefruit junkie and basically could live off of green tea. The combo here is just perfect. Just enough balance of both, not overly sweet, not too tart, just amaze. The pearl milk tea was good, but not the best. It had some weird after flavor. I'll give it another shot and will blame the cross flavoring of the two teas I ordered. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! I haven't had a blended one in a while, so might go after the mango one in the near future. The only place that I've been that has Sago for their topping. I love the sago! I came here a bunch of times and I always get the same drink if I'm being honest. I get the jasmine green milk tea with sago. Very consistent every time. I've tried a couple of other drinks and no complaints. The drinks are very fresh and light. The only thing that is inconvenient is that there's no parking. Just street parking so you're lucky at times if you find a spot close by. It was my first visit and I was sadly disappointed because I knew quite a few people who go here and like it. It's connected to a giant plaza building on a busy street. If you miss the turn (like we did) coming from the opposite side of the street, it'll take quite the detour to turn around and get back there. And once you do get there, you'll need to find parking, which was kind of difficult to find since there weren't any available spots (even though we came on a not so busy evening). Coming in, the place was smaller as I expected. There were a few tables with adequate seating and some space to stand on the side. It doesn't feel super roomy but it doesn't feel too cramped either. My friends ordered taro slush (one plain and one with tapioca) and red bean matcha milk tea, and I ordered the roasted black milk tea. Everyone agreed that the drinks tasted good, but it didn't taste as good and flavorful as other places we've been to. Our drinks tasted more icy or watered down. It was close to closing as well so maybe that's why it wasn't as great of quality? The service here was kind of disappointing as well. They weren't necessarily rude but they didn't seem happy to have us there. Like I said, it was close to closing so maybe that's why. I tried it in Sydney & Toronto too and the quality pretty consistent across the franchises. I was so excited when they came to Bellevue! Unfortunately the quality was not great here. I recognized this chain from NY and that was enough to persuade me to try it (although not a lot is needed!). Lots of people inside but it was organized chaos. People waiting for their drinks stood neatly to the side and the workers made the orders pretty efficiently. Overall I waited about 10 minutes. I opted for sago taro milk tea due to the smaller tapioca pearls that you usually don't see at other bubble tea shops. Price - 4.25 w/ tax, so 4.68. Expensive to me, but that's the standard in this area now... Tapioca were a bouncy, chewy consistency. I think I prefer this size of tapioca to the larger ones, since a regular size straw does the trick to vacuum them up with no stragglers at the bottom. Taro milk was alright. Not too sweet, and no starchiness. There was also a button hard-coded in the register for "less ice" - it's cool that they have that option. Upon entering, I was so impressed with the customer service that I received. I walked in just 2-3mins before closing time, yet the cashier did not make a face nor rushed me at all. When I apologized for walking in so late, he still smiled and told me its no problem. I ordered the passionfruit gaga. I loved the combination of lychee and boba mixed in together.
