Good roast and acidity. Cappuccino was very smooth. Free wifi and can do work, but the music is a little louder.

    Nice ambiance !

Located at the intersection of 6th St and Carnarvon, this quaint coffee shop boasts a diverse selection of beverages and snacks, including coffee, tea, sandwiches, cookies, soup, and gluten-free options. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with courteous employees. One potential improvement could be expanding the space, as patrons often linger, leading to a high demand for take-out orders. But overall it's a nice place !

    What I.

Coasters Coffee Cafe Casual Street parking Family and doggie friendly Service Excellent Food Great Best croissant so flaky and HUGE (bigger than my face)! Feta & spinach pastry was yum, nice refreshing black mango tea, and cappuccino was up to par! Service was excellent! Super courteous, attentive, and all smiles! They came to offer treats and water for doggies too! *** Just because it's a café, they don't settle for mediocrity or minimal service. Although semi selfserved, it's possible to make customers feel welcomed. Bonus: they bring food to your table! ***

Their coffee continues to be excellent, with a wide variety of options that don't compromise on taste. A great spot to relax or catch up with a friend. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been in a while.

We were eager to try out a new cafe spot in New West and maps led us to Delicia Cafe & Bakery. Most…read moreof the tables were taken, and we took this as a good sign that it might be worth a visit. My first impression was 'wow is there a lot of choice on this menu!' For drinks they have multiple types of hot chocolates and an array of non-coffee beverages - maybe I have found my new spot... We ordered a Pumpkin Chai Latte and a Pumpkin Spice Belgian Hot Chocolate and a Macadamia Marble Cookie. I like that for their hot chocolate you get to choose if it's milk or dark, I opted for dark. We found a table and I do appreciate the table signs that say to limit your visit to one hour. Honestly, more places should do this to stop people from treating a cafe like their living room or a library. I do feel like Delicia is on the overpriced side for what it serves. The latte was almost $7 and the hot chocolate was $8. I don't think that the drinks aren't worth it, it feels like mixed powder and nothing note worthy. When a menu is too big, it makes me question what is actually good, because even for a small cafe, you can't do everything good. To top it off, our cookie had a hair on the plate, very unappetizing. I don't think that I'll be back.

Such a gem in New West!…read more My partner and I just went here for coffee today and he ordered a cappuccino, while I got myself a matcha latte. Both drinks were made exceptionally well; impressively smooth, foamy, balanced, and clearly prepared with care rather than just being an afterthought. What really makes this place special is the atmosphere. The vibe feels genuinely inclusive and community-driven, with thoughtful touches like the pop-up bookstore featuring books on race, gender, and queer authors. It feels like a space built for connection, not just coffee. I also love how it transforms depending on the day. The daytime café energy is cozy and welcoming, while on select nights they stay open longer, serve alcohol, and host regular events like DJ nights, board game nights, and other community gatherings. It gives the space a lot of personality and makes it feel alive beyond the usual coffee shop experience. Definitely one of those places that feels more like a neighborhood hub than just a café. I'll be visiting a lot more soon!

There's a cool back parlour area with well appointed booths to hide out in and socialize and a curated weekly music and events schedule that will suit a variety of tastes, from electronic to more indie and folk fare. Will definitely be back - just be careful not to come on a Monday or Tuesday as they are closed those days.

I've been a few times to Edible Arts in New Westminster, and it's been fairly good till recently…read more I had purchased some pastries and was told they had them in stock. When after payment was finished, they had said "Sorry, we are out of those." There was no option for re-payment, no offer of compensation, only the choice of a different selection and I wasn't given my receipt. The selection was very slim and there was confusion on quantities. I was told a choice of two to three other options, to which they only had one available (or so they said). They first tried offering the one in the display case that looked as if it had been sitting there for 1-2 weeks. That of course turned me off, and I asked what else they had in stock. They finally checked their smaller fridge/ freezer to find they had that "one" type they mentioned available, but only a few. While waiting at the front by the service desk/ display case I did see that they had a bunch of boxes of pastries in the far back fridge/ freezer. This is when another employee had opened it up to check quantities or retrieve something from inside. When observing, I noticed that they had exactly what I was looking to purchase, though the service employee didn't bother to check and continued to say they had none in stock. Personally I will not go back to this store location and I am familiar with the supplier of the pastries for that store. I will go directly to that supplier when they provide their open market in the Langley area. Also, the supplier sells them for about $1.00 lower than Edible Arts. They attend the Farmer's Market out by the Kwantlen Campus in Langley.

I noticed this place with an inviting sign from across the tracks. I decided to get a latte here before my show. I had some time to kill and frankly being inside a coffee shop inside the New Westminister station platform was more appealing than being inside a grumpy train cart. The customer service was awesome. The barista was extremely sociable and I spent 60 minutes shooting the sh*t with him on life, politics, life and money. I met an awesome family in there from Alberta who I chatted with. I initially came in here for a latte, however, stayed for a ham bisque and macaroons. Very reasonably priced, great products and they continue to offer more quality items and very awesome stuff. This unplanned detour made my day.

Also bought a Thai Milk Tea to go with it. Thai Milk Tea: Our daughter liked it. She's never had Thai Iced Tea in a restaurant though so she had absolutely no basis of comparison for the drink. To me, it was enjoyable if I treated it as simply a tasty drink. I was expecting the flavour though to be more like the Thai Iced Teas that I've often had in Thai restaurants; I found that this flavour was somewhat lacking.  Day Old Pastry: I didn't actually have time to eat this on the day I bought it, so I ate it the following day which means it was 2 days old by the time I got to eat it. Heated it up in our toaster oven and was super impressed! It was incredibly flaky. Never mind that it was two days old, it was better than a lot of freshly baked pastries that I've had in other places. If it was this good when it was 2 days old, then it could only be better if it were eaten on the same day it was baked, right? Highly recommend the pastries at Passenger Cafe!
