I got a manicure with the same woman and she did not ask if I wanted to cut my nails down shorter or how I would like them to be shaped (same thing with my feet) She just did what she wanted and she also did not do the design that I had wanted as well she missed another design and then I got charged for three designs when I only had two designs on my nails.

Just like that the man took me inside and said they could do a pedicure. They explained it was a slow night so they were closing early but he saw me as he turned off the sign and decided to usher me in! Not only were they nice enough to take me in, they did such a good job on my pedicure! My feet look great! The salon was clean and orderly. Employees were so nice and very welcoming. I am a new customer of this little salon! They are a more appointment only kind of place but they do accept walk-ins. They do accept credit cards but seem like a more cash friendly place. They offer drinks, water, soda or wine. And they also have a punch card for regular customers. All around great place. Lesson learned: schedule nail appointments. Will return soon!

At first my water was way too hot. I asked her to turn it down a bit then it was way too cold. The tub malfunctioned and she took out the sanitary bag in there. The techs did not converse with us at all, except to try to upsell us. The massage chairs were wonderful. Another patron who was getting her eye brows done took a phone call. She was speaking really loud for a good ten minutes. I suppose it's not the spa's fault but it really dampened the ambience. Maybe they could post a sign saying please refrain from speaking on the phone for the relaxation of other patrons. The worst part of my experience was my nail tech clearly had a cold or allergies because she sniffled the whole time.

I said no. Then we started on my nails. I expressed I wanted my current set taken off and a new set put on. I was very impressed at the fact that she didn't try to rip my nails off instead she soaked my nails and little by little she drilled them off. When that was done she put the new set on and we got to the nail polish portion. I showed her a picture in my phone and asked her if she was able to duplicate it. She said yes. I honestly was shocked. The last place I went to said that they could not do anything they said they only did nail polish no designs. The girl that was doing my nails told me that she could do any design rhinestones it didn't matter what it was bring a picture in and she can do it. I was so impressed because I have so many pictures in my phone that I have always wanted on my nails. So she put a design on my nails with foils. I absolutely love them! She did an amazing job. I went with a friend, and she called to book the appointment weeks ago, with specific technicians. We get to the salon and I let them know I changed my mind and want gel now, not acrylics. A few moments after we walk in a woman comes in and says she has an appointment with one of our technicians. They let her know they overbooked and wouldn't be able to service her. The woman told the technicians that she had called a couple days before and scheduled, and they must've messed it up. Then the technician who's overbooked comes over and tells us we're going to switch so she can do the other woman's nails. To me, as a business, this is bad practice, you shouldn't put your customers in a position like this. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should've honored the people that made the appointment first. In hindsight, I should've advocated for myself better, but I don't think businesses should be putting their clients in this position. They had us sit down because they weren't ready, and we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. At that point I was on a time crunch, and didn't have time to go anywhere else. The technician who did my nails was very upset that I wasn't doing acrylics anymore, and asked me three or four times if I was sure. I didn't realize it at the time, but she cut my cuticle open, and didn't say anything about it. I got home and my finger was in a lot of pain. Bad communication and honoring clients who booked after your other ones is a no for me.

Being new to the area, I was most happy to find they not only carry the brand of polish I'm used to, but they also had my favorite color. Score! The salon is clean, but the color choices and decor on the walls didn't give me that relaxing spa feeling. I'd repaint the robin's egg blue walls if I were them and simplify the decor to attract more walk ins. Vivian did a nice job on my nails and I will definitely return. Washing my hands like I have to in the hospital was causing my nails to split down into the quick. Everyday my hands were bleeding. Jackie recommended this oil that I put on my cuticles after washing my hands. I did it faithfully. After 3 sessions, my nails are gorgeous. The hospital has banned acrylics, so I only does gels.
