La Nail - Red nails for Valentines day! - Nail Salons Near Me - Waukesha, Wisconsin

I came on a Sunday and there was one male working. This did not bother me but I knew it would take longer than usual. Throughout the entire time of my manicure he watched a show/videos on his phone, laughing and not paying attention to the work he was doing. I came in wanted Dip polish but after they handed me a bucket of 15 color, I decided to go with Gel polish instead. I regret doing this. The polish was so cheap and outdated he had to do 4-5 layers of polish because it would warp everytime it went into the LED light. My polish started coming off the next morning. On top of all this, the place was filthy and a barried LED light made a beeping noise every 30 seconds. They do well with their manicures but only provide cheap quality. I do not think my nails were worth a penny. I will never go here again. read more

I was giving this place another chance, but I won't be returning ever again. I use to love going here but it's really gone down hill. Linda is wonderful but I'm not sure why they allow her husband to do nails? I've had him start (and completely mess up) twice and Linda has to fix it. The first time I was getting ready for my husbands homecoming from deployment and I ended up just having someone fix it in California. They too couldn't believe how bad it was. This time, he put three different colored nail tips on.. I was getting a really light color so it wouldn't of been okay. Luckily Linda took everything off and fixed it. However, the atmosphere and quality isn't worth the money. read more

Awful. Absolutely awful. I went in for a dip and was astounded at how dirty the place was. The "tech", and I use that term loosely took me to a bunch of powder jars in a pile in a cardboard box to pick out a color. I decided to just ask for a pink and white and he was on his phone trying to figure out how to do it. Soaked my hands in the most disgusting bowl of cold acetone I've ever seen. I asked them to wipe off the acetone and left. I wish I could report them-it's beyond disgusting. Don't ever go there. I don't even want to give it 1 star!!! read more

I really wanted to like this place. The lady that did my nails was pleasant but pushy. No prices listed anywhere, and she very much over charged me the first time. She also uses a special powder she "made". Not even a week later my nails all start coming off the same way PRESS on nails do. Second time, I go back (with a friend) we made an appointment for 6, came early and didn't get started on for 25 mins. Same last that did mine last time starts mine .. when I show her the breakage she ADMITS she had tried it (her homemade powder) on someone else and KNEW it was going to come off easily and that she made a new "batch" with less glitter now. So she used that for my fill ... all while saying she knew the last "batch" didn't have enough (nail) powder be glitter and if these ones come off again to come back and she will just use something else.(while I pay for it?!!!) I was not allowed to decide. Now obviously THESE nails have been on for 4 days and one just popped off. Another thing that my friend and I BOTH noticed was how far they file the top of the nail away from the cuticle... making it look as if it needs a fill the next day! Also my friends nails were left with acrylic gunk all underneath, lastly one of each of our nails was slanted to the right. Then she never says price and is pushing product the ENTIRE TIME. I will not be going back. read more

Tiny salon that could use a design update. They do a great job-one of the best shellac manicures I've had.

Good prices, nice workers. The place itself is nothing special, but it's a good stop for anyone on a budget. I had a gel fill with a french polish. Not the best, as she didn't file them all the same shape. But like I said, it's okay for $25. read more

I have been coming here for just over a year and I love it! The prices being low got me to come back a few times after the first but what has made me continue to come back is the friendliness of the staff and remembering the customer as a person. They don't have to remember my family or important events but the fact they do puts no question in my mind that even if I did find a nail salon with lower price (this would be difficult, I promise) I couldn't imagine leaving LA Nails. read more

I am a very very picky person with my nails. I have gone to just about everywhere in Milwaukee Brookfield in Waukesha but cannot ever find somewhere to stay and repeat visits went to solar nails and tey were HORRIBLE!!! nails were shaped all funny and the service was horrible. So I tried LA nails bc it's right by my house. When I told them of my past horrible expierences at the other salons they really did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and comfortable. They have a new owner Linda and she herself is amazing and so is her staff! Went there today to fix a broken nail and to fill for the third time! Feel ms so great to am finally find a place I can continue to come back to. They remember me too and are so sweet and nice. They have a really good selection of colors too! Highly recommend this salon!!! read more

La Nail - Nail Salons Near Me - Waukesha, Wisconsin

When I arrived I was seated at a table and the lady there said they will be with me in a moment. A minute or two passed then a man came in the front door and sat down at the table I was at and started doing my nails. Which I took as strange and unprofessional. I had an open cut on my finger that was obvious that it was healing and sore as he was filing my nails with the dremel he hit right where my healing cut was with the dremel twice! When I flinched in pain he laughed it off and asked if it hurt, of course it did!! They overcharged me 20$ over the agreed 30$ price for my acrylics. And two of my nails were very crooked, not to mention he took 50 minutes to do them. Which was way too long! read more

Very happy with my nails. Fair price, and they take their time! Definately will be going back for fills.

Very good customer service and excellent prices. Linda is an awesome nail tech!

My friend and I arrived here at exactly 2:00 when our appointment was for, and we had to wait until 2:30 before our manicures began. While we were waiting, the five year old son of the owner was running around, extremely hyperactive, trying to sit on our laps, touch our legs, and tried to kiss us multiple times. No one was doing anything to stop him. After my friend and I got seated, they made up switch chairs 3 times each to different people mid-manicure. They thought my previous nail polish was gel, so they made me soak my nails for 15 min even though I told them it wasn't. My manicure was well-done once it got started, but my friend's was done terribly in a very short amount of time. While she was waiting for mine to get done, the 5-year-old spit water on her and no one did anything about it other than the dad taking him to the back and beating him for 20 min while he screamed bloody murder. Never returning here again. read more

My friend and I went here last saturday for a mani pedi. The prices were good so that was our main motivation. The pedicure was decent: nice long massage but I wish they would have used the shaving-blade thing instead of just the pumice stone. They did my mani while I was still in the pedicure seat, and some of the shaping is a little uneven, but otherwise it's okay. Overall not bad for the price. read more
