Kim is the best!

Ask for Kim. Best to make an appointment as she is popular due to her attention to detail. Tracy, the owner will memorize your name after 2 visits- shecreally cares about her clients. Here is a photo of Kim's beautiful smile:

I'm not sure who the young lady was that did my nails but she was great! I went in on my birthday without and appointment. I was seen right away. It was fast, clean, and efficient. I have tried a few places for manicures and haven't had much luck with service satisfaction. I highly recommend this shop. I will be returning in the near future.

After a bad experience at a different nail salon, I was tentative to try a new place. Ellie seemed to have reasonable rates, so my sister and I set an appointment. We were late leaving work, but still were able to keep our appointment without issue. It took awhile, but Joely was very meticulous which I really appreciated. I don't know the guy's name that started, but after he placed the nails on he had me switch to her chair. The initial design I wanted they didn't have the right type of gold to make it look the same, but Joely nailed the 2nd picture I showed her. The acrylic rate starts at $47 and my total before tip was $65 paying cash. I think we found the salon for our monthly mother/daughter spa dates in the future!

FUNGAL INFECTION FROM THE DIP.
Hien D.

BE CAREFUL LADIES. POTENTIAL INFECTION PENDING ... The service I got was subpar from the other nail salons that I have been to. You pay the same amount as if you would pay at polished or gloss downtown but you risk infections with the dip powder and instruments in general. I recently got my nails done and when the lady started, she did not cut down my cuticles. She pushed my cuticles away with an instrument that was not wrapped/ sterilized (from what it seemed like since it was taken straight from her drawer). Then she went straight to the drill bits which she drilled down a lot of my nails. After that, she did not ask me to go wash my hands to get the debris off. As she continued, she dipped each finger into the dip powder jar. THE WHOLE JAR! My fingernails has been feeling a bit sensitive for the past two days. I am unsure if it's the sensitivity from all the drilling down of my nails or if an infection is starting but I DO NOT recommend because they are not up to date with their hygiene protocol. It's disgusting thinking about how many infected fingers have been in that dip jar. Truly, someone could have a viral infection (ex: herpetic whitlow caused by herpes virus) or a fungal infection. I will not be going back despite how kind they were just because their hygiene disgusts me. Be careful, ladies! UPDATE: 15 days later, my big thumb nail looked dark underneath so I peeled off the dip and it is confirmed a fungal infection. I knew it! This place needs to do better! This is absolutely disgusting!

Full set mani W/gel. Shaping slightly off- I wanted coffin but got more square shaped.

I came here with a friend who frequents this spot. Giving 3 stars because not terrible, but not great either. You definitely get what you pay for.. a full set is advertised as 45 but if you pay with a credit card it's more? I was seated quickly and Ken did a fairly good job overall, but definitely was a bit harsh on my cuticles... I asked for coffin shape but some of my nails came out a little bit more square than I wanted, and both my thumbs are different length. The polish job wasn't the neatest, but it wasn't awful. They kinda botched my friends nails though- her shape was entirely off and they couldn't do a simple design she wanted. Would I go back? Yes. Would I have as high expectations though? Not at all. Again, you get what you pay for.

Nick did an awesome job! After having a terrible nail experience over the weekend it was nice to come in and feel like I was pampered. It's a little on the expensive side in my opinion but you get what you pay for. He took his time and my nails look great. I had an inspo pic and he nailed it! It's a busy salon so I would recommend booking an appt ahead of time. Sunny also does beautiful work and is super personable. I was sitting next to his client so I was able to see his work. This seems like a salon that stays fully staffed and everyone does a great job. I'll definitely be back.

Always a good experience here. I have only made an appointment once but they are usually pretty accommodating. They do great pedicures. It's a clean environment. They give you a nail file and buffer for $1 and let you take it home. They do expect you to bring it back every time you visit or they will have you buy it again. I don't have a usual girl that I go to but have had nothing but good experiences.

Can't even deliver a basic white nail. They were white until the nail tech applied the "transparent" top coat and became unevenly tinted with yellow! I asked "Tracy" to look at the nails because the nail tech say that this is white and don't see any yellow hue. When I asked Tracy to come over, the nail tech start yelling in his own language to Tracy. When Tracy came, SHE DIDN'T look at the nails, but said "this is normal. We only use the best product." She also says I should bot look at my nails closely... what is this trash service?? Not to mention this plain "white" nail set took the tech 2 hours to do on my natural nails!!!!!

This was after in the parking lot after I left with NO polish because I was still actively bleeding!

I came here for a pedicure and while cleaning my cuticles up the nail tech cut me and I was actively bleeding. She then proceeded to put something on the cut to stop the bleeding, which burned and I asked what it was and she ignored my question and said just put your foot in water. Whatever she used to try to stop the bleeding, she got my blood on it and put it back in the drawer-HIGHLY UNSANITARY!!!!Then it came time to paint the my nail my toe was still bleeding at this point and I said I don't want nail polish on the open cut. Then the owner came over and explained "it's ok to polish nail and use acetone to clean up edges and it won't affect the cut". Who wants nail polish and acetone in a FRESHLY OPEN CUT???? The entire time I was made to feel like it was no big deal and still charged me..... ZERO stars for this rating!

I started coming here over a year ago for my pedicures and I literally will never stop coming unless I leave Wisconsin. I have recommended it to all my friends. I usually make appts, but waiting isn't too long either usually 15mins. I don't go with a specific person I have no complaints about anyone. Owners are very nice and very attentive to the phone and walk ins

Poor shaping. Crooked and uneven surfaces

This will be a "one and done" for me. Tried this place based on the good reviews but was once again, like at other nail salons, inflicted pain due to a technician rushing and not caring about my nails. I was seated promptly, which was nice but I was not given any time to pick a color. I had to try shuffling through the color swatches while he was grinding down the acrylic which was painful. I repeated told him it was hot. Then I picked colors and he began to paint them without shaping or shortening the nail. He didn't even ask what shape I wanted. At that time I asked if he would please shorten the nails and he became annoyed and proceeded to push the drill bit strait onto the end of my nail, VERY HARD AND ROUGH which burned the end of my finger. After the first coat of polish I noticed some huge bubbles/clumps on one of my nails, but instead of fixing it when I showed him, he painted over it causing my nail to appear lopsided and uneven. The shaping of my nails is very crooked but at this point I didn't bother saying anything because he was clearly annoyed. I'm beyond tired of being treated this way when I go to a place for something that I should be enjoying that I'm PAYING for. If anyone has suggestions of a good nail salon please message me. Speaking halfway decent English would also be a helpful commodity. Normally I wouldn't care but it's hard to convey exactly what you want when the person is frustrated because they cannot understand you. I will say as a side note that as I looked around me, the other customers seemed to be getting treated nicely by the woman nail technicians. I saw them being gentle and asking how their customers would like things to look. For some reason I seem to get stuck with the rude rough employees

Jenn M.

After work I had time to spare before my flight, so I needed my nails done because only 4 fingers still had polish on them. I used Yelp to find something close by and this showed up on my phone, so I decided to try it was a little tricky but I found it. Lots of parking which was a plus in my book, walked in no one was waiting (YES!) I was directed to seat #10 and got started on the process. It was pretty busy and I was lucky to get in before the crowd that came in after me, I got a shellac polish removal from the nails that still had polish on them. Manicure and polished, not much conversation which was fine by me :). I wasn't impressed with the manicure she didn't do much other than put the cuticle cream that they normally do on my nails and pretend ( Yes i said pretend ) to remove the cuticle. I've gotten a few manicures and this is the first time there was nothing, no dead skin, nothing. I was surprised because I had dead skin around my nail bed, but being that I was in a hurry I had nothing to say. Why I didn't say anything she was helping my nails look better than when I first walked it lol. 1. Didn't really removed the dead skin 2. Didn't buff the nail 3. Made them round and had to file a lot more to redo the error which then resulted in my nails being shorter (very short) 4. No buffing was done 5. Too much of the clear polish top coat because she had to clip it off after Would I go back no.. if I'm in the situation like Friday and that's the closest one maybe / not really. But then again everyone has preferences when it comes to their nails or who they want doing their nails in a nail shop. Being this was a walk in it was just okay ... spent $30 plus tip and yes i did tip :).

TL,DR: came on a recommendation, can't recommend to anyone else. I want to love this place, I really do. I came to get a dip mani and a pedicure on a recommendation from a friend. I went on a day I knew would be very busy; however, I called ahead and made an appointment. When I arrived, it was bursting at the seams with people. The sign on the door read, "sorry, credit card machine is down." I should have rescheduled and left. My appt was at 4, I walked in at 4:02, and was seated in a pedicure chair at 4:45. The pedicure was great. I had Kelly, who was wonderful. The manicure... not so much. Again, I know it was busy. I was plunked down in a chair, had my nails dipped, and that was it. No lotion, no hand/arm massage, very poor cuticle cutting, and I couldn't even tell you the tech's name. I tried to make conversation and he talked to everyone but me. From Friday to Monday, my toes are chipped in multiple places, the top coat on my thumb has mysteriously vanished, and three of my nails have cracked and are chipping off. On top of that, their "no fee ATM" that I had to use (because the credit card machine was down) charged me a fee. *sigh* I won't be back and cannot recommend. Update: Within 24 hours of leaving this review, three more of my nails cracked and chipped off.

Absolutely the best nail salon I have ever experienced in my entire life…read more I felt this way immediately after my first appointment, but I've now been here a handful of times for acrylic and gel nail enhancements (and have seen 3 different nail technicians) and I continue to feel completely satisfied every time. One of my favorite things that personally sets this salon so far above all the others is the complete and thorough care of my nails from start to finish. In other salons, I am almost always left disappointed when I walk out of the appointment the nail itself looks good but my cuticles and skin around it weren't even touched. Or in a few days when they start to grow out, and it doesn't blend to my real nail. What's the point of sitting for the time and paying the money for long, pretty nails if they're only going to look good for a few days? Or to have them with jagged dry skin all around? That is NOT the case here! My nail enhancement appointment feels like a combo with a manicure because they really pay attention to and take care of the entire hand and finger areas. And they blend really nicely as they grow out. The other thing that sets this salon apart is the atmosphere. It's so modern and fresh. For services that are about self care and taking some time for myself, it's nice to be able to relax and chill in an environment like this. I love that they have online scheduling, and their color selection is extensive and phenomenal!

My sister was there for a pedicure. We shared our friend, and fellow yelper, Char, recommended this place to us. They loved hearing that. Price is reasonable and they are efficient! As I focus more on self care, I plan to be back!

So I called last minute to see if they could fit me in the same day and they said YES! I came in and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was! Then how organized it was and how friendly everyone was! I was very impressed and I hadn't even sat at a booth yet. I was told to go to a booth and the girl asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I said no. Then we started on my nails. I expressed I wanted my current set taken off and a new set put on. I was very impressed at the fact that she didn't try to rip my nails off instead she soaked my nails and little by little she drilled them off. When that was done she put the new set on and we got to the nail polish portion. I showed her a picture in my phone and asked her if she was able to duplicate it. She said yes. I honestly was shocked. The last place I went to said that they could not do anything they said they only did nail polish no designs. The girl that was doing my nails told me that she could do any design rhinestones it didn't matter what it was bring a picture in and she can do it. I was so impressed because I have so many pictures in my phone that I have always wanted on my nails. So she put a design on my nails with foils. I absolutely love them! She did an amazing job. I went with a friend, and she called to book the appointment weeks ago, with specific technicians. We get to the salon and I let them know I changed my mind and want gel now, not acrylics. A few moments after we walk in a woman comes in and says she has an appointment with one of our technicians. They let her know they overbooked and wouldn't be able to service her. The woman told the technicians that she had called a couple days before and scheduled, and they must've messed it up. Then the technician who's overbooked comes over and tells us we're going to switch so she can do the other woman's nails. To me, as a business, this is bad practice, you shouldn't put your customers in a position like this. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should've honored the people that made the appointment first. In hindsight, I should've advocated for myself better, but I don't think businesses should be putting their clients in this position. They had us sit down because they weren't ready, and we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. At that point I was on a time crunch, and didn't have time to go anywhere else. The technician who did my nails was very upset that I wasn't doing acrylics anymore, and asked me three or four times if I was sure. I didn't realize it at the time, but she cut my cuticle open, and didn't say anything about it. I got home and my finger was in a lot of pain. Bad communication and honoring clients who booked after your other ones is a no for me.

I did a dip manicure while she did the Gel-X with cat eye. Making the appointment was really easy. We booked over the phone and through email, and they were quick to communicate. They do require a deposit for artificial nail services. Just be aware of their cancellation policy: artificial nail appointments require 24 hours notice or you forfeit the full service amount, while dip appointments require 2 hours or more. My nail tech, Yohana, was really nice and patient, especially while I debated between two colors. They have quite a few colors for dip to choose from. The technician next to her also gave her input, and I ended up going with the color they recommended. It turned out to be a great choice for fall. My natural nails had cracked on a couple fingers, so we decided to trim those down and add tips while they grew out. The salon itself was clean, bright, and open with plenty of stations. They took their time and didn't rush through the service. One of my nails did break a couple days later, but I was really impressed that they stood behind their work. Their policy is that if a nail breaks, chips, or doesn't last the week, they'll fix it, and they repaired mine for free. I really appreciated that. The technician who did the repair was okay, she was different than my original technician, but wasn't as friendly or talkative and mostly just did the repair and moved on. One thing to keep in mind is pricing. You get a discount for paying cash, while cards have a 3.6% processing fee. I paid about $22 more than I normally pay for dip at my usual salon in cash. Overall, I had a good experience. The salon was clean, and my original tech was kind, patient, and did a good job on my shape.
