I was going to the gym and grocery shopping when I noticed this nail salon and decided to try it out. It's a small nail salon and I was able to walk in to do a pedicure without an appointment. The pedicure was nice and I didn't really feel like the technician was trying to rush, which was nice. I actually had a really relaxing time. My technician was a male and he was quite nice. The price was as to be expected. But honestly if you solely want a pedicure without anything fancy it was pretty cheap. I only ever get pedicures so I can speak to anything else. Do not go to this nail salon. I went there for the first time, got a pedicure and a fill. I specifically asked for the same color by name and number to 2 different techs on my toes and fingernails. When the girl did my nails and I told her which name and number color I wanted, she replied, "yeah, yeah, the red with the orange in it" and put a different color red on my fingernails. Now I know that when one set is gel and the other is regular, it will look a bit different, and that's what they proceeded to tell me when I went back today, but this is so different that 2 different people mentioned it to me in 1 day. She then told me "that's why I asked you if they're the same" which she never asked me. I ended up leaving because they were so rude without getting my nails fixed. I have been going here for 3 years and have never been disappointed. Every technician I've had did a great job. There top of the line pedicure is a yearly luxury that should not be skipped. I decided to try out PT nails again since they are under new ownership. I walked in without an appointment and was seen immediately. The place was extremely clean. Everyone was very very friendly and outgoing. The lady who had the hard core task of taking care of my tootsies did an amazing job. She spent literally over an hour on these old crocodiles that I call feet. Lol she spent at least 10 minutes each leg massaging to get my blood pumping. My toes came in looking like a mess. My feet were extremely dry. When I left there, they literally felt like brand new baby feet. The staff was very nice and I felt extremely comfortable there. I received the honey organic foot spa treatment. I believe it was around $40. And I tipped her extremely well. I will definitely be back. read more

If you are looking for the ultimate pampering experience then this is NOT your place. However, if you want a good mani/pedi without a long wait then you have hit the right spot. $25 for a pedicure is a good deal but the atmosphere will not overwhelm you in fact it might say "stay away". They do a really good job but lack some amenities like hot towels and warm lotion. However, they do use the super secret razor for a callus (which I know they shouldn't use) but it works so well! The owners are very nice so in a pinch this is my pedi place. They do a good job but I just wish the surroundings were more welcoming. read more

I went in for a quick pedi just due to time and scheduling I needed in and out; previously I was not a fan of the salon but when I arrived I was informed they have new owners. The two that have taken over are kind, social and did an amazing job. They actually have conversation during the service and listen to what you request. I recently moved to the area and am looking for a new nail salon. This will not be it. The most painful manicure and pedicure I've ever received. The ladies who work there were very nice; however, niceness is not enough for a good business. When I arrived, there were two ladies working and two customers already in the pedicure chairs. I was about to pick up a magazine and sit in the waiting area when one of the ladies called me over to a pedicure chair. I waited in that chair, ignored, for over 20 minutes before my pedicure actually began. I know how long it was because the chair's massage program ended. The pedicure was ok, not the best I've had, not the worst. They use what I call "those cheese grater things" on the bottom of your feet, with the razor blade in them. The blades don't actually hurt but they do scare me for some reason. The lady pulled so much at skin above my nails that the tops of my toes still hurt. The manicure was downright painful. The cuticle trimmer tool was dull and instead of trimming my cuticles, it pulled skin off. Several of my fingers started bleeding. 3 days later, they still hurt a bit. Because of this, my nails really didn't look any better leaving than they did coming in, except they were polished (clear). The price, $35 for a mani/pedi, was pretty much what I'm used to. But in the past, when I've paid that much, I've gotten good mani/pedi's in much nicer environments with an offer of tea or water while I wait. read more

I was in a hurry and this shop was on my way home. I thought I'd give it a try. I wanted my gel pedicure removed and one person started with an electric tool that didn't work. So another person came over and started with pliers. I know that's not the correct way to remove gel as that causes nail damage. He insisted he did it 'all the time.' Unfortunately this is not a good choice for nail services in my opinion. I have given them three chances over the course of two years and the service gets increasingly worse. It is always painful and poor quality. The last two shellac manicures I got started to chip and peel within days. After my most recent visit, my cuticles were enflamed and covered in polish. My girlfriends come here a lot and I decided to join them. We had pedicures and I really enjoyed it. I like that they have a lot of color options and designs. I am a simple girl so the lady drew a cute flower on my big toe! It was nice to be pampered and my feet needed some loving. I gave them a 4 out of 5 stars because I felt that the staff was very friendly as well. I wish I could give ZERO STARS. I have also been coming here for years because it was cheap and fast. Stopped going there because of poor quality, like REALLY REALLY poor quality! So, in a pinch, I thought maybe they had a bad run and things are better now so I went for a pedicure and new set. As everyone else has stated, my nails were so lumpy and uneven I was shocked! I spoke up to the owner and asked to talk to her in private before I left. I showed her the issues, explained the male nail tech has NEVER done a good job on my nails and that is why I stopped coming there. There were also 3 small children, maybe 1 year old, 3 year old and 6 year old there during my 2.5 hours of service. These kids are inhaling all that dust and the 1 year old went to an open container of acetone and started playing with it - yikes! Call child protective services! They were running around sucking on suckers and eating corn dogs and throwing them on the floor. I also told the owner if I wanted to have my nails done at a child care facility I would. As others have stated, it is just dirty and gross. Customer Service is zero. I told the owner I was coming back the next day so she could fix my nails. The techs slopped on 5 coats of polish and top coat (probably thought it would cover all the lumpiness) and these nails are NEVER going to dry. I spent 35 minutes under UV lights and fans and my nails were instantly all dented up on top of the lumpiness. Well, I arrive the next day for the owner to fix them and she says to come back in an hour. I don't live in the area. Gas to come there once and then twice and now you are asking me to come back a third time? They attempted to fix my toes and my nails. I am looking at them right now and I can't believe I spent $70 for absolutely horrible looking nails. Don't, please don't, waste your money or your time. Trust these reviews - they truly are spot on! This was truly the most terrible experience I've ever had. I left without getting my set finished because they were horrible. Horrible! And the worst customer service ever! I really want to post my nails... How uneven they are, how some spots are not even filled on the side of my nails or how some go over my nail onto my skin. And that's just the powder. I didn't have have her paint my nails. I was so disgusted . When I first walked in the lady who acted like she didn't understand what I wanted and kept telling me no.... The entire time . I came told her I want crystal clear powder with pink tint and a full set , with gel polish on top . I've been getting my nails done for years. She hands me CDs with Broken fake nails glued on them( terrible display of gel colors, cheap and tacky) I picked the colors , than she couldn't find the colors . She puts my tips on , than stops to call someone (while she's doing my nails) . She starts doing my nails , I just have my tips on. We start talking about the shape I want my nails. I than show her a picture and she must not be capable of it. I like the stilettos or almond shape. She tells me to watch tv while I have my tips on... And nothing else . 10 minutes go by and I am almost ready to walk out . She is just sitting there talking on the phone.... Finally another lady comes in and ask me to come sit in another booth. I sit and she proceeds to put the powder on .... She just slaps it on,, it is uneven and not only does she get it on my real nail and the tip but onto my skin making the nails lumpy and odd looking . I point it out and when she asks me if its good I show this one the picture again . She try's to file my nails but she mostly gets my skin and fingers and creates a horrible lumpy crooked nails . She asks me again If I like and I say no... Like the other one she starts saying I'm asking something that's not possible. But I get my nails done like this ALL THE TIME. I'm about to let her paint my nails with the gel than I realize how much the flaws will show. Everyone will see how lumpy and ugly the are. I decide to not go threw it and leave. I decided I am gonna have to pay someone else to fix this . My pt nail tech knows I'm upset and than asks me is 35 okay? 35? I can't believe I had to pay for someone to do this to me. I have an appointment at art nails on 27th where I usually go. It's just so busy and I didn't want to wait. But I would rather wait... Than have someone hurt my fingers, talk on the phone make me wait and do a horrible job. I think I could put up with the random rude waiting and the talking in the phone ... I have been getting lip waxed at PT nails for years, and I haven't had a problem until yesterday. I got my lip waxed and she BURNT my skin and then ripped my skin off when tore of the strip!!! I have to huge burns on both sides of my upper lip!!!! I hope they do not scar or leave rough patches of skin when it heals. But what upsets me the MOST is that I went there today to let her know her what she did so she wouldn't do it again to feature clients, and when I told her what happened she said it was not her fault and that she didn't do it! Which is just ridiculous, how else did my skin get ripped off?!?!? All I was looking for was an apology and a refund, BUT instead she denied it!!!!! If you want to keep your beautiful skin intact, then GO SOME place else where they will not burn and rip it off.
