I've had services at this nail salon a couple times. The gel manicures were ok. The place was not so clean and the acetone solution she used a nail brush to put on seemed strange. The male owner was friendly but the female owner wasn't friendly. One odd thing that really bothered me was there were beta fish in several very small vases that included pothos plants. As a fish owner, this was a bit disturbing because it didn't appear to be an adequate environment for survival. Sure enough, when I returned for my next visit almost all of the fish were dead (but still in the vases dead!) and the plant roots had grown tremendously...there was essentially no where for the fish to go. This is animal cruelty as far as I'm concerned and uncomfortable for client to view as they are receiving services. Needless to say, I won't be returning. read more

This was a very nice, clean place and I really liked my pedicure. It would have been my go to nail spot since the nail tech was very nice and professional. I think her name was Kathy? However, I had to knock a few stars down due to my boyfriend toes being scratched and scabbed up due to the pressure the lady used from the pumice stone. Never have I ever seen a nail tech used a pumice stone for the front side of the feet between the toe crevices, I thought it was only used for the back side, where it is meant to be used for callus. I feel as if she was far more engaged in talking with her other male coworker than focusing on my boyfriends feet. She kept scrubbing in between the toe crevices and wasn't paying attention on how long she has been doing it, for it even to get like that. I'm very upset of how my boyfriends feet turned out, especially when I have finally gotten him to get his very first pedicure done with me. It was a bad first experience for him and I wish the lady was more gentler with him like how she was with me. When we left he said his feet felt very sore and tender and I just thought he was over exaggerating since it was his first pedi, but after two days he sent me a pic of his scabbed up feet. The overall total came out to be $85 for two pedicures which is not too bad. It was $27 each, but since I had gel, it was $18 more and callus remover, $3, and a $10 tip. read more

Kevin has an attitude like every other time I come. No phones, ok I can see why but then he like pauses 10 times during the service to mess with his on the stand this time I just wanted a fill with a matte black top coat and a small rhinestone design on the base of one nail on each hand. When finished I noted that my thumb had wrinkled and when I brought it to his attention he got an attitude and said I'll fix it but your not putting your hand all the way in, put it all the way in and then he starts aggressively e filing the nail. I'm like dude wtf I get my nails done by you all the time and I'm a nail tech myself I know how to insert and keep my fingers in a uv light. Both nails the rhinestones are on are dimpled and wrinkled because he globbed the gel and top coat to hold the rhinestones on too thick. Again, I brought it to his attention, and he said no, it does that it does that. No tf it does not, Kevin. What's funny is right after he started to take the polish off my thumb he snapped who did your nails last time, and I just straight up said, you dude why, was it a bad job? My daughter and I were in town for a wedding. We decided to treat ourselves to pedis and nails as we hadn't had time to visit our regular salon before the trip. The guy who did my pedi was very aggressive with the grater and punctured my heel. He didn't tell me and it wasn't until I went to remove the tor spacers that I noticed a puddle of blood in my flip flop. He came over and kept asking if I am diabetic, which I am not and had nothing to do with him puncturing my foot. He sprayed it with alcohol and wiped it off, it was still bleeding profusely. He stuck a paper towel between my foot and flip flop and sent me on my way. No apology. No discount on the pedi for puncturing my foot, they just wanted to get me out of there as I was still bleeding. read more

She filed the color off (regular polish not gel or dip) then she watered the polish that I picked down so there was no sparkle in it and then because she wouldn't paint on just the toe nail when she went to clean it up she used her thumb she took off more polish than she should have. The work they do isn't bad, but lately it just hasn't been what I wanted. I showed them a picture of something I wanted for my next appointment. They said it would be no problem. I go back to get it done, and it's nothing like it was in the picture. Also, I have cuts on 4 of my fingers, and there are spots where they clearly missed with the polish. It's not a bad place, but it's just way too inconsistent for my liking. Also, never been to a place that charges you more for a matte topcoat. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it's very lovely in the inside! The decor is very nice and the place is very clean. The pedicure chairs are very nice and even have a USB charger if needed. They also provide complimentary beverages. The staff if very welcoming and helpful especially for a mom like me that never gets their nails done! I do not recommend getting a manicure or pedicure here, they do not last and for the price I paid they should have at least lasted a week before they chipped. I had a really terrible experience today with Nancy. I asked for a manicure and the service was sooo rushed. I paid $40 for an extremely rushed, poorly done manicure. I asked for french manicure and she made the white line so thick and chunky. When I politely requested if she could make it thinner, the employees starting chatting with eachother in another klanguage with me just standing there. When I say BEST PEDICURE EVER! Seriously!! This place is a must try. I was in Milwaukee visiting from Houston and my boyfriend and I wanted to get pedicures. From the outside I was a little skeptical but when you go inside it looks nothing like the outside. The inside was very pretty and modern. They were not too friendly upon arrival so I was a little nervous but after a while they started to warm up. They had a lot of summer colors to choose from. When we got to our chairs our techs were super friendly we talked the entire time. I can't exactly remember which pedicure we received but we upgraded and it was definitely worth it. This was the most relaxing pedicure I have ever received. They were extremely attentive and really were good at their jobs. This will definitely be returning whenever I am out there. After reading other positive reviews on Yelp, realizing the shop is in my neighborhood, and open on a Monday, I stopped in sans appointment just after 5pm. A man greeted me while I reviewed the menu of services, I was looking for a basic pedicure (I'm sure it was named differently) and the pricing started at $27, he said they had time for me and I proceeded to pick out nail color. The shop is super clean, crisp, and the equipment appears to be brand new. Within 10 minutes he had set me up in a pedi chair and explained it would be a little bit of a wait but someone would be with me soon. The chairs offer many different types of massage options and even have a USB port (nice touch!). Roughly 5 more people with appointments filled the shop. I was offered refreshments while I waited with my feet soaking, water temp=perfection. The shop had a clubbing-type-genre radio station playing in the background and local news on the TV - though it couldn't be heard over the music, I recommend turning on the closed captioning. After several check-ins by other staff, some of whom I assume could be owners, and offers of refreshments, I ended up soaking for an hour while waiting on further services. I didn't see this to be a total negative as I didn't have an appointment, it was a Monday and staffing may be less than other days ... turns out my wait for Mari was beyond worth it. Mari is not only adorable in appearance she has class and personality. She listens intently, offers education, advice, and does amazing work! Mari took her time and ensured I was satisfied each step of the way. I am the furthest person from consistent beauty upkeep, much less pampering, but Mari convinced me I've found my favorite pick for manicurist and salon! read more

Got a fill in and had him paint my nails, they look uneven and a mess! Also my nail tech was very rude after telling him i was from out of town. I bumped my nail going to get my eyebrows done and asked if they could fix my nail and they did and just make it look worse! I went in as a "walk in" for a fill and color change. The younger guy was my tech (don't know his name) and he totally messed up the shape of my nails! I asked for Squoval (Square & round at the edges). My nails were crooked. When I pointed it out he said it was like that. Then he kept accusing me of getting angry. I told him I am not angry, just fix it. He attempted to fix it and it was even worse. Before he could even paint my nails, I asked how much he would charge me for just the fill. He told me $15. Paid the guy and left. Once I got home and had a better look at my nails...5 out of 10 were not filed correctly. Then I remembered a few months back, same guy messed up my pedi.
