This is my first time getting my nails done in Milwaukee. I was on a hunt, using Apple Maps and Yelp, to find a place that was close to me with good ratings. I found Rose's. I called and asked how long of a wait it was for a gel pedi -- they told me come in 45min. I was greeted when I arrived. They have a huge selection of colors. The gentleman who did my toes (I forgot to ask him his name!) was very personable, calling me by my first name, and making great conversation. The service was also good. Fantastic husband and wife team who make you feel at home the second you walk through the door. My daughter wanted a manicure for her birthday so we made an appointment for the end of the day. We arrived on time but they were a little backed up so said come back in a half hour- no problem since we were in need of some kopps custard anyways. Upon return, my daughter was greeted by first name and asked to wash her hands as part of their covid precautions, in addition to masks and countertop plastic shields. My daughter must've changed her mind 3-4 times before deciding on the nails & design but the couple were kind and accommodating. Throughout the visit, the couple chit chatted and made us feel more than just customers. My daughter has been thrilled with her nails ever since and nearly two weeks later, they're still holding up great! The prices are reasonable and the service can't be beat. When we need our nails done, Rose's will be the place we always return to! read more

So this was my go to place. However, recently I was berated and criticized for wanting my acrylic nails smoothed out, and edges smoothed out so that water or my hair couldn't get underneath. When I noticed they weren't giving me the same service I usually receive they loudly said I was being a princess and they questioned who the nail tech was. Even went as far to mock me by saying I guess the customers always right. This type of customer service or should I say lack there of is downright reprehensible and disgusting!! Absolutely loved my pedi!! The staff was amazing and so easy going, best nail experience i've ever had.

Just had a pedicure- wanted to try a new place. My nail polish is nice enough and the service was okay. Not a lot of leg or foot massage but she listened when I told her I had a tender toe. Also, the price was affordable at $26. Now the minuses: no music playing, general messiness and not organized. The worst part was the screaming crying child running around the salon barefoot. There's a previous review that states this but I disregarded as it was six years old. Somehow, it's still the same story. When actually decide to splurge by treating myself to a pedicure I expect to be relaxed or comfortable at the very least. I will not return here and would not recommend this place to family or friends. I've had much better experiences at Orchid and Tango. read more

On my quest to find that perfect nail place, I gave Rose's nails a try recently. It's close to home and I know someone else who has been going there for years and they like it so I gave it a try. Owned by a husband and wife, it appears this is their second home. Their children are there with them as long as they are there and that has to be really hard but they children were very well behaved and you really didn't even know they were there. The store was a bit messy and dirty with dust and trash on the floor. Looks like it hadn't been swept in a long time. I was observing all this upon my arrival when I had to take a seat and wait a couple of minutes before being helped. The woman who did my nails was so very nice. She tried her best to make them look just like I wanted. They are not my favorite but she did do a good job and tried to make me happy so I can't fault her at all for all her trying. Turned out to be a communication issue from what I wanted and what she thought I wanted and how I worded it. No worries, I know now for next time. Each nail place does things differently. I was pleased when I left and will return back to Rose's. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and got right in, that was really nice. I will update my review after more return visits. read more

I stopped here in my way home and was so disappointed. The woman who did my pedicure cut my skin 3 times and left my big toe bruised after shoving my foot into my sandal with the toe separator on. she started to soak off my gel polish and then left me sitting with my my nails soaking in acetone to wait for someone else finish their client and come to do my manicure. the man who finished it rushed, cut my skin and left skin hanging on my cuticles. my nails were poorly filed and not shaped uniformly. definitely not worth the money. read more

Very comfortable, relaxing, and I no longer have to be ashamed of my deformed toes. My toes look great, the price was right. I think I found my favorite spot. I went to Rose Nails on a whim since I was in the area visiting my boyfriend at work. I'm glad I did! I went in for a pedicure and got so much more than I bargained for. Kevin, the gentleman doing my toes was so gentle and had such a soft touch, not to mention an absolutely amazing sense of humor :) he had me laughing so much quite a few times during my pedicure! I didn't interact much with his wife, but she seemed just as fun as he was. I will agree that the interior could use some updates but the service went above and beyond and shouldn't be overlooked just because of the decor. read more

The salon is operated by a husband and wife team who are both very friendly and do fantastic work. We had 3 girls go in and they were very welcoming, efficient, and fun. They do have children in the back of the store who were very quiet and they were not a bother to us at all. Great work and decent prices. I would definitely go back. read more
