First and Last. First visit to this salon and my last. I had made an appointment fro 9:30 AM. I arrived promptly and was told to pick out my color. No problem. Then I was directed to sit in chair 1. Well, I sat in the wrong chair. Tsk. Then I sat in the right chair. I was informed by the technician that she was waiting for her 9:30 appointment?? So I said I had a 9:30 appointment. She proceeded to ignore me and fiddle with her phone!?! Then I was asked to move to another chair. Now I should mention that I use a cane and have some mobility issues. When I sat down I questioned why someone else was served before me and got some B S about that customer only needing a fill. The manicure was fine and I tipped appropriately, but will not return to a salon that has so little regard for customers who have appointments and are not seen in a time manner read more

I went to Platinum Nails today! It was awful. I had a guy, he cut my nails too short, I told him square and he rounded them and then, every nail is a different length and not straight! When he would file, he filed the tip of fingers. So disappointed. Won't be back. read more

We made a reservation a couple days ahead of time and were excited for our appointment. When we got there we waited 45 minutes to even have someone come and help us. We think they did not really have anyone reserved for us and just took whoever came in first. With a reservation you should be given service pretty quickly. We told them we were about to leave because we did not make reservation to wait this long and they finally said that they could make it work. I had gel on from a previous manicure and the person doing my nails did not even put acetone on it and started peeling it up and it was painful. Once I got service and got my manicure it turned out well but I did not really appreciate the wait and how they took off my polish. read more

Make sure your clear what they charge you. Was asked if I wanted a cucumber scrub for $50 dollars. I was charged $70. Apparently she upgraded to a gel polish which was $15 extra but was charged $70. I don't mind paying for services I ask for. read more

Honestly the best pedi I've ever received. For $35 I got so many treatments included (paraffin is amazing) and my tech spent so much time massaging my calves and feet. I work in a salon so I know sanitation laws and this place is very clean and they do everything as they should. Very relaxing quiet atmosphere. Everything has been remodeled from when I used to come here 5 years ago. I have spent twice the amount of money in Milwaukee for a quarter of the amount of service. It depends on who you get. I've been here twice. The first time, I got the Milk & Honey pedicure and enjoyed the pedi w/ the hot stones. I felt it was a good experience so I decided to come back. My friend was also with and enjoyed hers. This last and most recent time, the pedicure was rushed. The person got started right away on one of my feet so the cuticles were not ready yet to be cleaned up. Needless to say, it hurt. She also didn't use the stones on my feet and did a quick massage. My friend was with again and she also felt the other time was better and agreed that it seems to be 3 key people you want to get when there (she has been there by herself in the past and had the 3rd person). I unfortunately don't know their names, just what they look like. I also got a manicure this last time. The girl rushed through, so she didn't soak the first hand and she did a quick job on both hands, so the cuticles were not pushed back well. It hurt having them tweezed due to how dry the one hand was. I also didn't get any kind of lotion or oil on my hands- she just had me wash and went straight to painting. Looking at my nails, the paint job isn't good due to the cuticles. Needless to say, I won't make a special trip to this place again. The first time made it worth going outside of my town but this last time, I'll just stick to what's convenient. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst experience i've had. The lady treated me like I was clueless, ended up with ridiculously short french tips. Didn't take her time at all and just rushed.
