They are THIEVES. Had to go to a different salon who had to take my nails completely off and start over. They couldn't believe another nails salon did such a terrible job. If I could give 0 stars I would. This place and these people that run it are AWFUL. I will be reviewing them on every single platform possible. I normally leave great reviews, I even tipped well because I loved half of my service. I came in, this is my second time, for a fill, gel color and nail design, and a pedicure. It all cost me $105. The first time I came a couple weeks ago I had problems and called rhe same day and told them my gel was changing colors and looked tye dye. They couldn't get me back in to fix it for a few days. They refused to fix it same day. The problem wound up correcting when I used a UV light on my nails. So yesterday I asked for a specific design and the older woman doing it said she couldn't do that design so I picked a different one that she also said she couldn't do. So I asked if she could just do my nails and have someone else do the design was only supposed to be on one nail. At first they looked tolerable. It wasn't until I got home I saw that they were uneven, lumpy, VERY thick, a hair was stuck under the tocoat on one nail, and gel polish under the nails and along my cuticles. Terrible. When I got the chance to call they were closed and so I called first thing this morning and told them I was in the area (don't live close) and politely asked the gentleman if they could fix them. He immediately seemed defensive and said they were completely booked, and I would have to come back at 11:30. I said its 9:30, I don't live close, and I can sit and wait and be taken between appts if that worked. I was very nice and respectful. Then he says no appts today come next Monday. I said a week from now? He said yes next Monday. I said these look awful. I'm not waiting a whole week. I said I need to come today. He continued to say no so I told him I would be leaving appropriate reviews where necessary. I called my husband so upset that I paid $65 and they are refusing to fix their mistakes AGAIN. So I found a different place who could take me right away. On my way there I had to drive past top nails, funny not a SINGLE car was in the lot yet he claimed they were "so busy and booked up". So I get to the new place and they can't believe another place let me walk away with my nails looking like this. Unbelievable. So my husband tried to help, and he called to talk to them. The man said oh she can come now. My husband says she is already getting rhem fixed elsewhere be ause you refused to fix them when she was on the phone with you for 10 mins. The man then said call back when the manager is in I can do refunds (the "manager" is his wife). So my husband calls back at 10:30 and the woman refuses to give a refund. He said she deserves a refund for the nails because she was refuses service to fix them. The woman continued to refuse to fix them and said she won't be refunding. $65 down the drain. Awful customer service, they don't back their work, they over charge for what they give you. So no my nails have cost me double. Unbelievable. Learn how to respect your customers. I tried to give you a chance to fix them, even offering to sit and wait in between appts (when the man lied and they had no one even there like he claimed). Dishonest, terrible company. Horrible! I got a pedicure and manicure it was horrible. I was there for maybe an hour and my nails and my feet still look horrible. 3/02/2023 called for male pedicure on my 60+ year old feet.Came in 15 minutes later. Medical problems make taking care of my feet difficult. Have gone to MD Podiatrist who spend 5 minute triming my toe nails then bill insurance $120 and then my $20 copay. Top Nail have message chair with warm water foot tub soaking, then carefully trim and file each toe , sand every nail, then message and apply oil and cream to both feet and ankles. Then throughly drying my feet., taking about 35-40 mins. All this for $30 dollars, I gave $5 tip. Well worth it, and will return in 3 months.They don't talk alot to you. Great. I believe they are Korean and talk to each other. I DON'T CARE, They do a great Job. If you want somebody to talk to, call your Psychiatrist ! read more

I recently wrote a review that was not good. I got what I thought was the worst manicure of my life. I left the salon bleeding. The blood was never even dabbed off. I was wrong. The next manicure was 10x worse. I still don't know what the girl's name was, same girl...second row, second seat. I called for an appointment and asked to not have her. I asked for the owner's wife. She said she was too busy but would take me if it was the same girl. When I arrived the owner's wife was nowhere in sight. I wasn't sure if this was the same girl until she started working on me. She couldn't get the artificial junk they put on your nails before the gel polish off because she had put it on so thick the time before, she tugged and tugged until she put a slice down my entire nail. It was so incredibly painful. I was in shock. Then walks in the owner's wife, and I called to her. I was in tears. She ignored me, but her husband came and took me to another seat and said he would finish the manicure. He put a fake nail over the split nail, which is throbbing like crazy right now and will probably become infected! They are all crazy there. The wife went ahead and gave herself a manicure! That's why she was too busy. The owner had the nerve to charge me for the fake nail to cover up the injury his employee inflicted on me. I wish I wasn't in pain and in shock. I made an appt early this morning for a 5:45pm appt. Arrived on time, stood at the front desk for 8 minutes and not a single one of the 6 people working looked up and acknowledged me. When they finally did, I had said I had a 5:45 appt and he said "ok" and looked back down as I stood there for another 5 minutes. It wasn't until another woman came in for a 6pm appt that they came up and asked her name and almost sat her down ahead of me before I had again reminded them that I had a 5:45 appt. I was finally sat at 6:05 in a chair and sat with my feet soaking for another 20-25 minutes with no acknowledgement or update. Everything about the pedicure was extremely rushed. The massage lasted one minute on each leg, while the appt next to me is still getting a long thorough massage. Pedicure started at 6:20 and ended 6:48. I have been getting my nails done in this Salon Top Nails in Oak Creek WI for 3 years. The owner, Amy, was pleasant and did great nails and prices were right. About a year ago she sold the salon and I continued to get may nails done by Kim, Amy's aunt. Just recently, however, I had a bad experience. Kim went on vacation so the new owner Judy did my nails. She did a botch job. She barely filed any of the old acrylic off and left nail shellac from the last nail job. When I pointed that out she said she couldn't fix it, and that I needed a new set. I only get overlays, I don't use tips, so that didn't make any sense. On that same day I had acrylic chip on a nail and had to go back. One of her nail techs fixed it. The next day another one chipped so I had to go back again. Michael, Judy's husband fixed it. He was not happy. 2 days later it happen on 2 more nails and had to go back. When I called the shop and spoke with Judy a 3rd time, I said, "It appears I have gotten a bad nail job." When I got there for the 3rd fix I had to wait a half hour to even get in a chair. They were so busy. I have never seen them that busy. While I was waiting Judy answered the phone, based on her side of the conversation I could see someone wanted to come in at 12:30 which was an hour from the time of the call. Judy was in the back of the salon working on someone's nails when she took the call. She never even wrote the appointment down and the shop was already full. The woman came in at 12:30 and had to wait a half hour or so to get in a chair. It was obvious to me they were double booking and, or not even writing down appointments. Someone mentioned how backed up they were and Michael, blamed it on Kim being on vacation. But that was not the issue at all. I left that day and I knew I would not go back. Michael advised me to not come back until Kim got back from vacation. It appears they do not care if customers return or not. I felt like I was being pushed through on a conveyor belt. I went in on a Saturday morning had an appointment and still had to wait! the work the young man did i wasn't happy with and i questioned him about this and his answer was this was due to my nails.it didn't appear that the shellac was sealed as good as it usually is when done properly. on Wednesday even my thumb began to peel. this was only 4 days after i got them done. i called the nail shop the next morning from work and told her what happened and asked her if i needed to make an appointment or can i just walk in for someone to fix this problem she said no appointment just come in. so i go in the next day shop is full. she tells me we are very busy right now you have to wait. I went for the first time to Top Nails yesterday. I would definitely NOT recommend!! When I arrived there were only 2 people working and I wasn't told there would be a long wait. There was!! When I received my pedicure, there was no attempt made to have any kind of conversation with me. The two workers only conversed with themselves...constantly!! It was non-stop chatter and occasionally the woman who was giving me my pedicure would stop to look back at the other one to talk. The woman receiving a manicure experienced the same. Her manicurist never said one word the whole time to her customer either. Whenever the phone rang, the woman doing my nails was the one to answer it. It took a long time for my nails to be done and it was never brought up that they were shorthanded. So I am assuming this was a normal Tuesday. But the WORST complaint I have is that she cut my big toenails WAY too short!! She told me this was necessary to clean behind my nails, What? I have NEVER been told that before. They look really silly, these stubby little nails. I would never go back! The whole time I was there (2 hours) only I other customer came in. Apparently a lot of people already know what I know now. I went in yesterday and was taken care of by TAMMY who is so professional and did an AMAZING JOB for my pedicure. I enjoyed chatting with her and it was like talking to a long lost friend! She never once stopped her service while chatting with me and she made me feel so comfortable. THE WORST THING ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WAS THE OWNER ON HER SPEAKER PHONE THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE!!! Talking loud, talking with family members in the back room very loudly. Tammy kept saying she was sorry and I said I know their is nothing you can do about it. The owner had a client and the client looked over at me several times because of instead of getting personal attention the owner was STILL TALKING LOUD ON HER SPEAKER PHONE!
