I went in for a last minute mani before the weekend and it was so packed, there were even people waiting. They were able to get me in later that day, and my goodness Ben did such an amazing job. He was so kind, helpful and detail oriented. I felt great being there and can't wait to go back, the atmosphere was just right, calm but not too quiet.
I was originally struggling when I first moved up here to find a new nail salon but look no further! The quality of my nails the past 4 times has been impeccable and incredible. My nails have never lasted me longer than two weeks max and my last set was going on five weeks with no chips or lifting! They were solid! As solid as the service and vibe in the salon. It's very bright, clean, and lots of fun! A big shout out to Ben who always does my nails and keeps them on point!
I was a walk-in for a dip manicure with tips. I was promptly greeted, offered a beverage, and they got right to work. Towards the end of the service my technician stepped aside and the owner came over to inspect. My guy was new, and there were some issues to correct. The owner sat down and reshaped to the almond shape I wanted. He redid the top coat and some color. He apologized, to which I responded "absolutely no need! I appreciate the time and making it right" Some of the best customer service ever. I'll definitely be back. Thank you!
Got a gel manicure & pedi on a Wednesday and by Saturday they were chipping. Will not be going back. The pedi so far is fine, just disappointed that I paid g $100 for gel mani/pedi and have it looking so crappy LESS than a week later.
While in the Milwaukee area visiting my bestie, I was looking for a nail salon to pamper ourselves a little and found this local gem of a spot. After reading reviews I decide to book appointments for the two of us and gave them a call. They had two spots left open later that evening so away we went. We had a wonderful time of relaxing and girl talk. It was such a great experience. My tech, Kim, was super nice. She even guessed I would be having the baby 2 weeks earlier! If you find yourself in this neck of the greater Milwaukee area woods I highly recommend getting your feet pampered here!
Very clean salon with a very friendly staff. Excellent spa treatment and very reasonable prices
Wanted to get a simple birthday set. I paid $60 for this. Milky white short square acrylics, as you can see the cracking in the milky. I've never had this happen to me. When I asked the woman all she said was it dried too fast. There was no solution. & This is the worst set I ever had. I still tipped as to courteous of the time of the service provider. I won't b back.
Came in the past Saturday to use a Groupon (even though reviews are bad, I figured there was only a couple posted). Only two other people were there at the nail tables. It's a big place so it was basically empty. The person who was prepping my manicure first was sitting in a back pedicure chair with nothing to do before I came. She proceeded to do a decent job on my feet but is definitely more on the aggressive side. During the massage she laid my ankle in a place not comfortable and I reacted to the hard plastic pressing on my ankle bones. She then asked me if it hurt and I explained where/why it was hurting and creating my reaction/movement and she then scolded me for moving the chair back too far and that's why it was hurting me. She hastily moved my chair up and continued on my feet. She did actually become more kind and responsive when I explained all of the scars on my right foot and to be gentle on that side. She was much more talkative and friendly after learning about my injuries and explained a few of her own. Next, we went to the manicure table. It was there that my Groupon came up. She then scolded me for not reading the fine print because apparently I was not allowed to come in on a Saturday (or Friday) with the Groupon. Obviously, it was too late now as we were half way through and she indicated as such, but I am not one bit sorry. I was looking forward to the mani/pedi all week long and Saturday was the only time I could have it done due to my schedule. ENTER THE SHIT STORM. This other woman next to us then got into the conversation to double up on me when it was explained the Groupon for TWO mani's and TWO Pedi's that I bought meant that I had to physically bring in a second human being. Ok, I paid for the Groupon. I have never been told and think it's ridiculous to be told that you can't even use your own Groupons that you paid for and that you have to find more people to go with that didn't pay. As my blood began to boil because of how the third lady was speaking, I pulled up the Groupon where it specifically says and I quote: "ALL GOODS OR SERVICES MUST BE USED BY THE SAME PERSON". Even asked if they could take my name down and mark me as using one of the two. No go. Too much work, I gathered. I told her what it said. All she did was continue to repeat her same comments over again. The one doing my nails blamed the owner (who wasn't there and according to her workers is rarely ever there). I looked at her and said "Don't you need clients?" - if they need work they really shouldn't treat people who come into their business like crap. A very DEAD business at that. Be more goddamn appreciative that I gave your ass something to do cause you had NO OTHER CUSTOMERS. It came down to, pay $38 separately for my mani/pedi and com back again with another person to use my TWO-fer $41 Groupon. I told them I would not return. Use my Groupon in full and I'll just contact Groupon to try and get some of the money back. GROSS: The mouthy lady later sat at her manicure desk and took off her freaking shoe and began to clip HER OWN toe nails. I was so repulsed and found this to be terribly unprofessional while a customer was inside right by her. Disgusting. The woman who did my nails did a good job despite being a little aggressive and giving me dirty looks if my feet or hands were not exactly positioned in the very specific place that she wanted them to be. (I def wasn't putting them in the "wrong" place on purpose...) And I did give her a tip and told her that she did a nice job but she needs to talk to the owner about the Groupon. I struggle on 1 or 2 stars because the lady did do a decent job on my nails and feet, but the whole experience was bad. For a place that had no business is what really kills me. Nail Salons are a dime a damn dozen, why would I need to deal with this crap?
I have not been here for awhile now. Every time I come here the ladies are always pleasant. Today Mei was my manicurist. She remembered me since last visit. Very sweet person. I got the glamour pedicure instead of the regular pedicure. It was $7 more but it was worth it. It includes removing the callous, exfoliating scrub & extended time on the leg & foot massage. Yeah ! I also got my regular no chip manicure. Mei was efficient & knew what I needed. If you are in the Mayfair Rd area give them a try!

My friend and I went on a nail date closer to their closing time so I appreciate the staff accommodating us later in the evening. My nail technician was patient with me As I tried to decide what color nails I wanted. She was fast with my nails and helped me decide what kind of style I wanted for my nails. They ended up looking awesome with the amount of time we had left . They also offer complimentary beverage that was nice of them. They have coconut water, so if you like That, try it! read more

I had a good experience at this nail salon. I initially booked an appointment for earlier in the afternoon on Sunday, but due do some other scheduling constraints, I needed a last minute appointment change. I was able to call the salon and they happily adjusted my change. When I arrived at the salon, I was given a book of options to select from. I did have to wait about 20mins to begin the service, but this was because all the nail techs that were experienced in dip nails were busy with other clients and they communicated this to me through the wait - which I appreciated. The salon area was clean, nicely lit, and comfortable. I'm very pleased with how my nails came out. Thanks! read more

First time to Glamour Nails - staff were very kind and helpful, relaxing atmosphere, and easy to schedule the appointments on the phone! I got the regular gel manicure which was a good price for the area and was overall happy with the result. The polish on a few of my and friends nails seemed thin and could have maybe used an extra coat. Friend loved her pedicure and said it was a very luxurious experience! The arm massage for the manis was shorter and done after the polish. They did have complimentary water and soda, and take card or cash! read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience of a pedicure and gel manicure. Staff was professional, kind, and efficient but they did not rush. Do yourself a favor, book with Noi, Tia, or Kat. Reasonably priced. Convenient parking. read more

The owner of this nail salon was rude. My daughter got Her nails done with powder. They don't have any color samples. You need to look at the powder and decide. The nail tech cut her cuticles on at least three nails and kept coughing on her. read more

Let me start by stating that I don't often write reviews (really, go see my profile), so this is a special occasion. This salon is the WORST salon I have ever visited. When I arrived as a walk-in, I was greeted right away and I asked if any of the technicians (I use that term very loosely here) had time available for a mani-pedi. One of the technicians nodded "yes," and told me to pick out a color. I picked out a color quickly, noting the salon was a bit busy, and was given a pedicure chair to sit in. The bowl was ready with water, so I took off my shoes and rolled up my pants and dipped in my feet. The water was pleasantly hot. I snuggled further into my seat and logged into Facebook to do some mindless scrolling. Before I knew it, the water had become lukewarm at best, I had scrolled all the way through the Facebook posts I looked at last night before going to bed, and 30 MINUTES had passed. When the technician finally rolled over in her tiny chair, she mumbled "please" and gestured toward my feet. I lifted a foot out of the now cold water, and she proceeded to start the pedi process. Not only was this woman rude, she was also rough on my feet. She didn't seem to care when I winced at her while she snipped my cuticles, or when I was obviously dumbfounded as to why she was raising her voice at me. I later realized she was aggravated because I was unintentionally splashing water out of the bowl. Immediately following her reprimand, I felt my face and ears get hot with embarrassment as the other clients looked my way. I asked if she had time for a no-chip manicure, and she said yes. However in the middle of my mani, I was told to move seats. A new technician showed me a gel color to be sure it was the one I wanted. It was definitely not the color I had picked. She showed me the variety of gel colors on color wheels, told me to pick one and walked away. I picked a color and went back to my seat only to find the technician on the phone. when she finished her conversation, she started to sloppily polish my nails. I noticed the base coat was very thick, but not ever having a no-chip, thought it was normal. The technician made 2 more phone calls during my mani, and I was able to learn that she really needed a car wash and that she was starving because she hadn't eaten dinner the night before or anything that morning. I'm wondering now - as I look at my polish-splattered fingers - if her blood sugar was so low that she forgot how to "color in-between the lines." I left the salon feeling weirdly uncomfortable. As I write this review almost 6 hours later, I can still see the wrinkles in my nail color, and I'm wondering how long it will take for those air bubbles to become color-less spots on my nails. I'd place a large wager to bet it will be much less than the promised 2 weeks. I tried calling the salon to speak with the manager or owner as I wanted to let him/her know I would never be returning to the salon. I was told the manager or owner was not available and that I could leave a message, but I decided against it. I will be returning to the salon, but only to ask for a refund. read more

Read previous reviews and was a bit nervous but I'm glad I went in. Walked in & was greeted by Sam. I had a broken nail & wasn't fond on the polish job done at another salon. Sam immediately took me & struck up a little conversation. He fixed my broken nail & did my French just fine (I'm very picky)! Ultimately I'm left w/an appointment for two weeks later. read more

The worst place for nails. Terrible & Rude. The girl who was doing my nails didn't acknowledge me once. I got a fill in & it looks disgusting. There is White cloudy line showing on all my nails & it looks dirty pigment in the gel. I went to get it fixed & they were too busy to help me. They had enough people to take me just didn't want to do whole full set again to fix their mistake! I would never go back! read more

I came here to visit my family over the weekend for a baby shower, and found this place after visiting cousin's sub for lunch on friday. I was pretty surprise how nice and elegant this place looks. The decor was beautiful and they are so clean and quaint. Stylish polish and nail designs, and prices on there brochures are pretty affordable. Jamie was my nail technician, she did both my pink and white full set and my spa pedicure. She took the time to shape my nails and it came out nicer then I had in mind. She listened to me when I told her how squared I wanted and not too thick, just natural. She did an overlay gel coating on it, and yes they r still shiny as of today. I picked out a dark nail polish, opi brand vampire. She was a perfectionist, my polish went on perfectly with no stains of polishes on my cuticles. And they were quite close to my cuticle on my whole nail bed, just the way I want it. I'm pretty picky, but I am very pleased. I also had my eyebrows waxed, and it turned out pretty nice, she trimmed and shaped the stray hairs and waxed all the surrounded hairs away with very little pain. I also had a set of eyelash extensions put on, and I fell asleep during the procedure. I woke up with pretty lashes! They look so natural and I can't feel a thing! Normally the strip lashes would feel so heavy and it looks so unnatural. I would have to wear thick eyeliner to hide the glue, but I did not have to wear any eye makeup and I wake up feeling beautiful. She told me they will last up to four weeks, but first touch up is normally 2-3 weeks. A set of lashes was 140, and I am glad I found them because I've been quoted 200-250 at other places. There fills are 35-60 depending how much time and work they have to put in. Not bad at all! I'm going to refer them to my family who lives there, but as for me, im sad that I will have to find someone close by in my area:( Next time I'm in town they will be my go to beauty service! read more

I went to get my nails done yesterday evening and even drove in the snow to get here! They were def long over due and the weather did not stop me. I was told this place has a brand new owner and decided to come give this place another try. I was greeted upon arrival by one of the technicians, as well as smiles from others in the salon. They were excited to tell me they have brand new colors to choose from- since the previous owner took everything. Star! After sitting down at the mani station, I realized that it was clean, organized, and not smelly! Star! The technician- who was also the owner- spent time on my cuticle removal (huge plus) and made sure to evenly distribute my no chip and cap the tips for longer wear. She was meticulous, yet efficient. Star! There were other technicians building new pieces of furniture, moving furniture around, and discussing changes in the layout of the salon to make it more cosmetically appealing. I can tell they are really trying to fix this place up- it def is starting to look much better. Star! After the service was done, I drove home (snow stopped for a bit) and I got home in a timely manner. It's a great location with a parking lot- easy to find. Star! I will be back. read more
