They had us wash our hands prior to touching nail polish bottles, loved the focus on cleanliness. They have many color options to choose from for classic manicures or gel. Liliana got started on cleaning up my nails right away. It had been over a year since my last manicure and I felt no judgement on that state of my cuticles lol. I enjoyed chatting with Liliana. My sister was there for a pedicure. We shared our friend, and fellow yelper, Char, recommended this place to us. They loved hearing that. Price is reasonable and they are efficient! Another staff started to prepare the polish removal at that point. It took another ~10 min to have my assigned nail technician to start working on my nails. -nail tech was pleasant, knows what she is doing. -quality was satisfactory, I didn't request anything special beyond regular nail polish paint. -vibe was ok. Kinnickinic is pretty busy but if you don't mind walking there's generally free parking a block or two away. Appointments were super easy to schedule online. I booked an express no chip manicure with Lili for a wedding weekend. She was super sweet and easy to engage in conversation with. They have lots of gel and no gel options. For someone who doesn't get their nails done a lot but wants to be fancy once in awhile without breaking the bank, This would be my go to place if I lived closer by. Services are affordable and great work done. I'm five days out since the appointment and my nails are still looking like they did on day one! read more

Absolutely the best nail salon I have ever experienced in my entire life. I felt this way immediately after my first appointment, but I've now been here a handful of times for acrylic and gel nail enhancements (and have seen 3 different nail technicians) and I continue to feel completely satisfied every time. One of my favorite things that personally sets this salon so far above all the others is the complete and thorough care of my nails from start to finish. In other salons, I am almost always left disappointed when I walk out of the appointment the nail itself looks good but my cuticles and skin around it weren't even touched. Or in a few days when they start to grow out, and it doesn't blend to my real nail. What's the point of sitting for the time and paying the money for long, pretty nails if they're only going to look good for a few days? Or to have them with jagged dry skin all around? That is NOT the case here! My nail enhancement appointment feels like a combo with a manicure because they really pay attention to and take care of the entire hand and finger areas. And they blend really nicely as they grow out. The other thing that sets this salon apart is the atmosphere. It's so modern and fresh. For services that are about self care and taking some time for myself, it's nice to be able to relax and chill in an environment like this. I had a great experience at Studio Nails. I typically don't get manicures but am trying really hard to break a nail-biting habit, and was to the point where I felt like I had earned it. I had Lany, the owner. She was easy to talk to, accommodating, and did a really nice job. I just got the express no-chip mani, so it was a no-fuss experience, but it was just what I wanted. She trimmed and shaped my nails, did a great job with the gel, and I feel like a million bucks. Maybe next time I'll get more creative beyond a single color. I grab an absolutely excellent pedicure here every time I visit Bay View. Ena is my favorite nail person. She's gentle, professional, and caring, and I highly recommend her. My toenails look great every time, and my feet and calves very much appreciate the massage. The other people working there have been very pleasant and accommodating as well. The interior is spare and dimly lit, which is calming and adds to the relaxing vibe of the pedicure. The massage chairs aren't the best, but they're fine. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of five. I never have trouble getting an appointment that meets my needs, and they take walk-ins as well. Super affordable. Wide selection of polish colors to choose from. They also carry nail products for purchase, as well as other boutique items like jewelry and home fragrances. Give them a try. read more

A friend of mine said she had a bad experience here a couple years ago so I avoided the place. Got a gift certificate from a friend and decided to give it a try. The place is cute and clean (they use pre packaged and disinfected tools). I am not sure about the other ladies but I was 100% pleased with Chanty. She is personable and a joy to talk to. I got the spa pedi - she was working on my feet for 45 minutes, best polish job I've ever gotten! Only thing I don't like is they don't use a scraper (cheese grater looking ones) for the bottom of your feet so if they are really bad the callus remover and tool used might not get the job done. Going back Friday for a no chip mani. Prices are a little high compared to others by 5-10$ but if I get the same service every time I wouldn't mind. Also it's by appointment only. read more

I came to Studio Nails to have my acrylic nails removed. At other salons the nail tech would take an unused nail enhancement, and pop/scrape off my acrylic nails. This process was not only painful, but left my natural nails severely damaged. The lovely nail tech at Studio Nails took the time to properly soak and file off my acrylic nails. My natural nails looked wonderful at the end of the process. I then got a fantastic manicure. I couldn't be happier with the end result. As for the salon in general- it's clean, bright, and very welcoming. All of the tools for my manicure were brought out in a sealed package and had obviously gone through an autoclave, so they were sterile and ready to go! The prices were also very very reasonable. Chill walk-in pedi on a weekday afternoon; I lucked out that they had a free tech because they were booked steadily after I sat down. My nail tech did a great job and took care of all the details. Lots of colors available (the standard OPI and Essie selection and a few other brands). It was super clean and everyone was really friendly. I've been to some gross salons in my day and this one is definitely among the nicest, but it's still affordable. I'm so disappointed in the service the last time I went in. It started off great...then crap. I went in for a 445pm appointment to treat myself for my birthday. I sat unattended for almost an hour. That's right... no one acknowledged me or anything until 545pm. When someone FINALLY saw me, I got no "sorry we are short staffed" or "sorry that you had to wait". Nothing. It was like I wasn't even there. I'm so disappointed that I am no longer going to go back and I'm not going to suggest people go there. If you can't even acknowledge your paying customers, then you need to rethink your business strategy. I hate writing bad review but I was so heated about this that I had to. I've never had this happen at any nail salon I've gone to in the last 20 years. Ridiculous. Simply ridiculous. read more

I made an appointment two weeks ahead and they made me and my husband wait over an hour because they accepted walk ins and neglected our appointment there was no available nail tech for over an hour. On top of that once they actually started doing my hisbands pedicure they cut his toe really bad to where it still hurt the next day. They have terrible service and poor quality work.
