You'll see a review for 1 star and I want to comment on that: First, this was not the customer... and she wasn't there for the whole session. I was here during this incident. They did NOT discriminate against her skin. She was on the phone with said friend on SPEAKER very loudly, disturbing other guests. The owner asked her to please turn the volume down and was very nice about it. She got upset and started complaining about everything in the store, how it looked, how they acted. Every employee tried doing what they could to make her happy before, during and after her friend came in. She was never satisfied. There was no depiction commented to her of her race at all. This salon has been here for so long in the Tosa village. It's wonderful in here, very reasonably priced and they treat everyone with respect. It's 2025, please stop hurting small businesses. I hate to do this because I really enjoyed my experience here when I got my nails done the first time. But sadly, the quality of my nails was poor :( 3 nails chipped after less than 1 week of getting them done. I went back to get them fixed and less than 1 week after the repair they chipped again. In total, 4 nails chipped. You're probably thinking, you got "2 weeks" out of your nails, that's pretty good. But no. I can usually wear dip 4-5 weeks without ANY chips. The only upside is that I wasn't charged for the repair. But, what I didn't like about the repair is that instead of removing all the powder and redoing each nail from the beginning the nail tech simply put more powder over the chipped areas. Unfortunately, because I spent so much on my nails I refused to get them done again so I walked around for 2 weeks with chipped nails. The horror On the other hand, my gel pedicure held up well. With all that being said, I probably won't be back here. The quality isn't worth what I paid and I want to go to a place that does quality pedis AND manis. read more

I arrived 5 min. early to this smaller yet busy (for a Tuesday) immaculate salon and was seated at a nail station immediately. Ken did both mani and pedi. The massage chairs are comfortable and sometimes they have great music playing, too (t Swift!). They have Dip, acrylic, gel, and usually you can get in fairly quickly. I really enjoy the smaller salons since they tend to be owned by families rather than the overhyped full service salons that sport more attitude than service. My little sister was getting married in a couple days and had never had her nails done-unbelievable I know, so I called first thing that morning to schedule appointments. Everything was going well with her service and my pedicure, when suddenly she got up and went outside. She had panicked about the wedding and needed some air. Everyone was really concerned as they got me dried off and into flip flops armed with water to see what was up. When I came back in, her nail tech Lyly asked if she was ok. Lyly then went outside to talk to my sister as well and reassured her that she gets anxiety from time to time which I thought was not only sweet, but a side of humanity we rarely get to see in public. :) We wrapped up our services-which were great by the way! I have only had nails done, but they do offer pedicures. They open the door frequently for ventilation. I recommend wearing a mask due to dust. Every thing is wiped down strewn clients. First visit was fine. Brought my daughter in for no-chip on my second visit and her mani started to peel 2 days later. Came in for a fill for my 3rd visit and Jeri filed my thumb nail down too much so it was drastically noticeable. Then my middle finger was filed too much on one side and was slanted. Things happen so I tried to be understanding but instead of acknowledging their fault and fixing it, they tried to convince me it was fine or to alter ALL of my nails to match the messed up ones. I know it's a buzzer word but they tried to gaslight me as if asking for my nails to be even was an issue. If you mess something up, you fix it... right? Probably a 3.5 for me overall. I decided to check out this salon after a bad experience at my usual place (super rude tech) and was generally happy with it. On the plus side, they autoclave tools which is great. If you're getting a pedi, they have the super comfortable big massage chairs for you. Staff is really friendly - they seem to know most clients by name which means they have a lot of regulars. In terms of price point, they're about the same as other local places ($35 for a no-chip mani). Because they have a strong core of regulars, it is probably best to make an appointment at busy times. Walk ins are definitely welcomed but if you don't like to wait, get your time locked down. As an example, every pedi chair was full at 5pm on a random Tuesday night. On the minus side, my mani took forever - like more than 1.5 hours!!! (I'm not kidding) My tech was really trying to be meticulous which I appreciate but the overall effect was still "ok". There was a bunch of polish smeared on my skin (nbd, can clean up later), some nails are kind of wonky in shape and I have some rough edges to buff out (because the tech did some filing after polishing??). Overall, definitely not the end of the world. Would I go back? Probably yes (hopefully with a different tech) - everyone was really nice, I like the autoclave for tools and it's close to home. read more

I have mixed reviews about this salon as I've come here twice now and left the first time with beautiful acrylics and the second time with acrylics that looked visibly rushed - uneven nails, polish looked globby and the shape was not uniform. The place was packed both times which didn't take away from the employees being super friendly from the moment I walked in till the time I left. (Little over an hour). They have tons of color options and are able to do dip, acrylic, gel, etc... Each area of the salon was clean and organized and there was no heavy smell of alcohol or polish. The only reason why I came here was because my nail tech is in the process of moving and will be unavailable for a few weeks. But trust me I wish that I would've rather just taken the nails off. When I say that each nail is a different size and shape in comparison to the other hand is an understatement. I literally had to change my design request at the last minute because she "couldn't fully remove" my last acrylic set and was just going to give me French tips on top of the color that you could clearly see underneath. Considering that my nail tech has never had a problem before I didn't get why this was an issue. And the two little designs that I asked her to do are barely decent. I literally asked for some thing in the center of my nail and it is completely to the right. My nails aren't coffin shaped at all. In fact somehow she made my hands look short stubby and fatter than they are. They are unevenly filed. I even asked her not to round my edges of my nails as I like them sharp and they almost look like they are almond shaped which is not what I asked for at all. And to be charged damn near $65 for something so terrible. I'm not returning. Really disappointing read more
