The is the best salon! Seriously! The consistency is remarkable. I get regular pedicures and dipping powder nails. The nails last 4-6 weeks - that has NEVER happened. The owners are new since sometime in 2023 and they are honest, kind and so nice. The professionalism is so appreciated! They are also almost always on time and manage their schedule so you aren't waiting a long time like most salons. There are no gimmicks, just great service! read more

Oh my goodness the owners are incredible! I stopped in on Sunday to get my nails done. I had been running on 6 hours of sleep in two days. I had just driven 3 1/2 hrs to get back to Mequon. My mom was in hospice a week and I had been with her 24/7 For a month so In other words I was exhausted. I went to relax and get a dip and pedicure and upon leaving I left my wallet on the counter. I hadn't noticed it missing until three days later. I called Top Nails from the funeral home and yes they had it. They attempted to deliver it to my home but I wasn't there. No phone number inside etc. I was so thrilled to get it back. They all gave me a hug when I left We are so lucky to have such good honest talented people in business in our community. They are the best and their new business is beautiful! read more

My first time here, and reading the reviews I was a little scared... they are clearly under new management and it was an awesome experience!!! my tech did an amazing job thinning out my acrylics that were very chunky from another salon, I have a few that were peeling and flaking off and diligently checked every nail and fixed every flaw. Salon was clean, and the selection of colors was good. read more

I just want to give a special thank you to one of my favorite local businesses, Top Nails! I've been going here for over a decade and their team has always taken such good care of me! Thank you for always providing an amazing customer experience! read more

I like to do my best to put positivity out into the world, especially with supporting small businesses, but this review had to be done. As a 30 year veteran of visiting nail salons, this has to be the second worse nail salon experience I have ever had, but not too far off from my first. My usual go-to nail salon was booked for the day, and so I decided to visit the nail salon down the street, and walked into the Top Nails & Spa. It was the early afternoon, I walked into see only two male technicians, and I was the only one in the salon. The man that decided to become my technician, I find out is the owner. Everything seemed to be friendly, until shortly after sitting down for a manicure, some construction workers, (and possibly building owners?) arrived in the empty parking lot, outside the salons door. The arrived with a work truck, some orange cones, and all hell broke loose with my technician. My technician then decides to leave my manicure to, not yell, but scream vulgarly to the construction workers. The words that came out of this mans mouth would make a sailor blush. The back and forth happened a few times, and when he would return to his seat to continue my so called manicure, he would then share his feelings about these construction workers, using the same vulgar profanity, with me. This manicure that you can see here via pictures I have posted, took 1.5 hours, and ended up a complete mess. I had also asked for a pedicure when I first walked in, and I was too scared to pay for the manicure, and cancel the pedicure. Pedicure was done by the other male technician, and it came out slightly better than the manicure. The pedicure technician seemed scared of the owner/technician as well. End story here- if your usual nail salon is booked, when you want to get a last minute manicure/pedicure, and you're thinking of becoming a walk-in at an unfamiliar nail salon, that is completely empty at noon, just say to yourself, "I can wait to get my manicure/pedicure another day." and turn that "walk-in" into a "walk-out". I highly recommend that you DO NOT visit this nail salon. read more

I really wanted to support the new owners. I've been several times and am simply not satisfied. First of all, the price changes depending on which technician you get. Not the posted price. Also, forget bothering to call for an appointment. It will not be honored. Not one time. Today I came at my scheduled time, and not only was I not greeted by ANYONE, I waited a half hour and I left. I understand and appreciate hard work and different cultures, but if CPS ever poked their head in that business and saw that small child crawling around on the floor, the might get involved. It's almost child abuse. There are so many options in Mequon alone. Why wouldn't they try harder to keep loyal customers? read more

Nails starting chipping 1 day after I got them done. Horrible. I'm very upset. They weren't cheap especially for dip. Over priced. read more

Got a dip. No manicure was completed for my $50.00 Left with dip on my fingers, shaping of the nail was poor and the dip went over my nail edges in some places. Nail edges look terrible near the cuticle. Needed a quick fix because a few nails looked terrible after an incident with a box and this place was open on Sunday and most others are closed. Won't be doing that again. Also people in the salon not wearing masks, employees mostly masked but not everyone wearing it above the nose. read more

First time here in about one year. New owners, completely remodeled interior! Very clean. Tech did a great job on my nails, took time to make sure everything was perfect. Will definitely be back for my fill in a couple weeks! read more

Don't go here. My friend and I went this morning and she got a set of acrylics and I got a pedicure and both of ours came out uneven, and unfinished. My pedicure was not worth the $55 at all. The dead skin was not even taken off and the nail polish doesn't cover each toe all the way and some of it is painted on my skin. My friend's acrylics were horrendous. She got a light pink and white French tip and the white part literally went halfway to her nail(not a "French tip" at all) the shape was way too wide and as I'm typing this she is at another nail salon getting them fixed. I would go anywhere else. read more

Top Nails & Spa - This is after the shape was corrected, but you can see the French tip is not correct. - Nail Salons Near Me - Mequon, Wisconsin

Do not go to this nail shop. There is nothing TOP or SPA about it. I was looking for a salon in my neighborhood since I recently moved. This was honestly the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever paid for. It looks like a toddler polished my nails. My cuticles look like someone chewed on them. I asked for a design but I got what looks like someone spilled paint on my nail. My polish is lumpy in some places and not there is others. None of my nails are shaped properly and the edges are so sharp that I am scratching myself while putting on lotion. Needless to say, $73 later, I am looking for another salon to fix my nails. The owner, who kept referring to himself as Jackie Chan and referring to me as CUZ, was so unprofessional. I just wanted to pay and leave. Again I will say, please do not go to this nail shop unless you are in the business of just giving away your money. read more

The service has always been great. I have been using Top Nails and Spa for over two years for having a pedicure done just about once a month. The work has always been done in detail and well done. Great care has been done to unsure that I never experience an ingrown toe nail again. I walk out with smooth feet, great feeling skin on my legs and toes that feel cut perfectly. I recently had a broken nail and was able to get in to see Mimi that afternoon. It's been a chronic problem on this one particular finger for a long time. She was able to patch up that nail and then applied a strengthening coat of polish. That was several weeks ago and the nail stopped splitting. I am now enjoying both a mani and a pedi at Top Nail. I highly recommend them and always tell my friends where I have my work done. read more

First time going here and worst nail experience I've ever had! The place was very unclean and the end results of my dip was terrible. I had different shapes on different fingers and lengths were uneven. Within days the top coat began to wear off in spots on multiple fingers leaving rough bumpy spots and my nails began to actually chip on the side edges - something that never happened before with dip product. I didn't ask about price ahead of time but was charged almost double what I've ever paid in the past at any other salon. I'll never go back and can not recommend for any reason. read more

The worst mani/pedi I have ever had and overall experience bad. Made appointment a few days earlier and asked for specific operator, when I arrived the owner took me as his customer, not who I had requested. He didn't say more than 5 words to me throughout the experience, but talked NON STOP , in a very loud voice, in his native tongue (Vietnamese?) to the operator next to us. I thought this extremely rude. My cuticles are poorly trimmed, some not at all, and my gel manicure includes polish all over my cuticles on many fingers! read more

this is the second time I've used this location for a gel manicure. The first time , the owner wanted to skip over adding the shellac but I refused and had the shellac added. I went back again and they skipped adding the shellac. First of all, they act as if they don't understand you when you mention the word shellac. I was told the shellac was in the base coat bottle. who was I to argue with what was in that base coat bottle... that said, "base coat." the very next day I had chipped nail polish from a very expensive gel polish. I would advise if using this location know the steps when applying gel polish. they are skipping one of the most important steps... adding the shellac read more

My biggest complaint is they charge more than what the price sign says. Guess what, that's why you didn't get a tip. Also, for those that might not realize, when powder is mixed with a liquid, ITS ACRYLIC, NOT GEL!! Also, putting gel polish over Acrylic nails isn't necessary as regular polish stays on just fine. So sign says Acrylic fill is $18, my daughter had regular fill and they put on gel polish that again is unnecessary and charged $30,,,,,Robbery!!! Will NEVER go back, and they speak their own language amongst themselves and this is very RUDE!! Nails seemed just ok, we will see how they hold up read more

I've never experienced such horrible service. After being yelled at my nail tech Kevin about my concerns that my toes were cut to short. He began to paint my nails with 3 coats of paint with no slipper or toe separator. I was not offered any type of dryer for my toes and was told I was done. There was paint splatter around the nails. The other nail tech Meme corrected it and places on the slipper and toe separator. Being highly upset Kevin came back over with out a touch testing of my toes, he told me that they were dry he told be that I had to move so he can clean up and my toes were not dry I discovered as began to take the toe separator off. So Meme to corrected the paint errors but when asked her name she became irritate and told me she didn't need to tell me her name because it messes up business. ( I retained their names by calling after I left) My son was there so I remained very calm but I could not understand why was not receiving the same service as the other white customers that came while I was there. she was offered a drink and received a slipper and toe separator by Kevin. I never want to assume it's because if race but the service was not acceptable. The shaping and painting of my nails was the worst. I would never go back to place even though it is 10min from my new home. read more

Went in for gel polish. I called ahead and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived I was taken immediately seated by a woman who was talking on the phone. I was there for 40 minutes and she talked on the phone the entire time while I was getting my nails done. So incredibly rude. Then when I got rung she finally hung up and said it would be $30. I pointed to their menu and said it states gel polish is only $20. She said well you got a manicure too. Unfortunately I had zero conversation with the woman to even determine if I wanted a manicure. I will never ever ever go back to this place again or recommend it. Horrible customer service. And to top it off they have a sign saying in capital letters do not add tip to credit card. Well you're not getting any tip from me. read more

firsts time going there, they didn't seem organized , they also didn't do the design correct. it didn't turn out like the picture. and I'm not happy with my nails. read more

The prices are reasonable, and both my hands and feet looked great when I left. The only complaint is that a few of my cuticles were cut a bit too much leaving them sore. I was recommended this place by a family member who loves this place and speaks highly of Kevin. I would go back. read more

I love this shop. They have a lot of regular customers for a good reason. Friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. I am getting the gel for the first time. My nails look great! read more

Usually don't do this. However I have us very disappointed I took the deluxe pedicure and was watching him my feet were in bad shape yes they were but I noticed that they didn't take the dead skin off my feet for $40 that should've been included they were not busy when I left they were busy I was left at the bowl for about 10 minutes to 20 minutes and started to feel pain my back and my knees I said I have to leave now they forgot to take those little cushy things off my feet and they didn't even give me little shoes that they usually giveSo all in all I was really disappointedAnd also of that paint job he did on my toes was not the greatest I haven't had my nails done for quite some time I know they were in bad shape but I expected more for $40 read more

Went for a pedicure. Price was $28. Pedicure was okay, could have used a heavier handed leg massage, but everything looked okay in the end. Place looks a little plain, like it used to be an office for an insurance agent or something. Massage chairs were an older model, not very strong and the seats were worn. Most obnoxious was the tipping policy...can't put a tip on a check or credit card (even though the credit card receipt has a line for tipping!!!!!!!). I never carry cash with me. Won't return. read more

I will NEVER go back and I urge anyone reading this to run in another direction. When BOTH big toes were gouged during the cuticle cutting, I went through the roof, literally. I went home and cleaned the wounds with alcohol and neosporin several times a day, only to have an infection start in the toe on Sunday and by Monday morning my entire foot blew up! The doctor said if I didn't come in when I did, I would have been in the ER that night!!! You decide.... read more
