My first time here, and reading the reviews I was a little scared... they are clearly under new management and it was an awesome experience!!! my tech did an amazing job thinning out my acrylics that were very chunky from another salon, I have a few that were peeling and flaking off and diligently checked every nail and fixed every flaw. Salon was clean, and the selection of colors was good.

Didn't even remove the White French Manicure polish from my skin.

I like to do my best to put positivity out into the world, especially with supporting small businesses, but this review had to be done. As a 30 year veteran of visiting nail salons, this has to be the second worse nail salon experience I have ever had, but not too far off from my first. My usual go-to nail salon was booked for the day, and so I decided to visit the nail salon down the street, and walked into the Top Nails & Spa. It was the early afternoon, I walked into see only two male technicians, and I was the only one in the salon. The man that decided to become my technician, I find out is the owner. Everything seemed to be friendly, until shortly after sitting down for a manicure, some construction workers, (and possibly building owners?) arrived in the empty parking lot, outside the salons door. The arrived with a work truck, some orange cones, and all hell broke loose with my technician. My technician then decides to leave my manicure to, not yell, but scream vulgarly to the construction workers. The words that came out of this mans mouth would make a sailor blush. The back and forth happened a few times, and when he would return to his seat to continue my so called manicure, he would then share his feelings about these construction workers, using the same vulgar profanity, with me. This manicure that you can see here via pictures I have posted, took 1.5 hours, and ended up a complete mess. I had also asked for a pedicure when I first walked in, and I was too scared to pay for the manicure, and cancel the pedicure. Pedicure was done by the other male technician, and it came out slightly better than the manicure. The pedicure technician seemed scared of the owner/technician as well. End story here- if your usual nail salon is booked, when you want to get a last minute manicure/pedicure, and you're thinking of becoming a walk-in at an unfamiliar nail salon, that is completely empty at noon, just say to yourself, "I can wait to get my manicure/pedicure another day." and turn that "walk-in" into a "walk-out". I highly recommend that you DO NOT visit this nail salon.

Nails starting chipping 1 day after I got them done. Horrible. I'm very upset. They weren't cheap especially for dip. Over priced.

This is after the shape was corrected, but you can see the French tip is not correct.

Don't go here. My friend and I went this morning and she got a set of acrylics and I got a pedicure and both of ours came out uneven, and unfinished. My pedicure was not worth the $55 at all. The dead skin was not even taken off and the nail polish doesn't cover each toe all the way and some of it is painted on my skin. My friend's acrylics were horrendous. She got a light pink and white French tip and the white part literally went halfway to her nail(not a "French tip" at all) the shape was way too wide and as I'm typing this she is at another nail salon getting them fixed. I would go anywhere else.

The service and prices are reasonable and Kevin and Mimi are the best as well as the other staff.

I made an appt to remove gel polish, get a regular manicure and a paraffin treatment to alleviate…read morethe drying caused by gel color removal. The appointment was March 18 2026 w Abby, who is an epic artist w polish application. She, unfortunately was on a long vacation when I went in a week ago concerned about the condition my nails were in as a result of the gel removal. I understand that everyone responds differently to any chemical treatment so I have no issue with Abby at all. However, my nails and clear polish applied after the paraffin started bubbling the same afternoon. I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking that it's something I can handle w an emery board and moisturizer. Nope nope nope. 3 weeks later my nails were shredding as soon as they breached the nail bed- they are weak, splitting painfully into the nail bed, keep shredding and need constant filing, clipping, etc. when I went in to ask how I could fix the issue, I was passed around to 3 people- none of whom were nail techs. They refunded $19-a random amount and not close to half of the cost. I was told by Madison in management that this is normal - and to use a product called Nail Envy. A week later, 34 days after the original appointment, my nails are still shredding and splitting. It is like acid was applied. The result is that I will not be able to get a manicure until the nails completely grow out - MONTHS from now. I know if Abby would have been present, she would have had better advice and would have repaired the nails to the best of her ability. Result - I spent $ for a manicure w paraffin so didn't cut corners, and will have hideous painful nails until they grow out. I'm upset that a nail tech wasn't available to advise, I was told I'd be called in a couple of days to see how things were and to get an informed answer, which didn't happen. I bought the Nail Envy strengthener and their cuticle oil as recommended by Grok(!). $36. I have had nothing but great experiences w Impressions until this debacle. I don't know what to do - management is inadequate for problem solving.
