On thursday 2/20/25 for the first time This was a birthday present from my mother. Within one day one nail was already broken off, fast forward to today 2/24/25 i am down two more. The thing is for $85 and 3 hours of work, it's ridiculou. I will never go back. It is not worth the money, i've paid less for way more. I made an appointment for gel mani and regular pedi over the phone the week of and it was very easy to get the date/time I wanted. I actually ended up getting there about half an hour early and they were able to accommodate me easily but were steady busy, mostly with walk-ins. The staff was all very nice. Anna did my mani first and did a fine enough job, but kept having to stop to take care of other things like answering the phone, checking someone out, or greeting new customers. I unfortunately also bled from one of my cuticles. I don't remember the name of the person who did my pedicure, but she did a good job and was less distracted. $67 for regular pedicure and gel manicure with a $2 card fee. So, so, so conflicted on this one. First, the bad - this salon isn't great in terms of hygiene. The wrist rests on the manicure station are all ripped and cracked with the padding substrate exposed (shudders). Tools aren't autoclaved or disinfected much at all - merely sprayed with some alcohol. There's nail dust everywhere. Files and buffers - oh yeah, you know those are reused.... Now you're probably thinking "JT, this sounds like a place you would have run screaming from and gone home to bathe in hand sanitizer" and you'd generally be right. BUT - my actual manicure is ON POINT. Sure, it was a no frills experience but my nails look goddamn amazing. My tech was lightning fast and I have nary a smudge or drop of polish on any cuticle. Seriously, in terms of results - best mani ever. And my tech was super sweet - just really enjoyable to be around. She joked a little and ended up steering me toward a polish that looked better with my skin tone than the one I had chosen. AND they're $10 cheaper than the the other local places (which are nicer but still...) I don't know if it's rude for me to bring my own toolkit? this is not my normal place. I made an appointment because my regular was booked up and this was kind of last minute. I thought it was odd when I called made an appointment last minute but they didn't ask my name or phone number, but OK. I walked in and my first impression was good. They welcomed me and acted like they actually wanted me to be there as a customer as opposed to some placesI've been to. They were polite and welcoming. I was having a manicure, and they proceeded - so far so good. At the point where I was told to go wash my hands which is normal. The person who is doing my nails, came up beside me saw my feet in sandals, and said we can do a pedicure too. That is not what I wanted. I said no thank you not right now. I got back to my chair she proceeded with doing my nails. Everything was fine. Even have a TV which I like. Then out of nowhere, she said something about how I don't clean my eyebrows? I was a little taken aback by the comment because I think my eyebrows are absolutely fine. They are not strangely geometric like some these days, but they are good natural shape, not unruly or thick. I said I don't know what you mean and she said you clean your own brows? And I said, I really don't know what you mean and left it at that. Then she inferred that I needed to have my eyebrows done which I really didn't want. - there's a lot of good in the situation however, the couple of times that I was asked about my toes and my eyebrows. Kind of judgy. I really didn't care for that. I would have to have a pedicure there also to see what I think because often times that's a determining factor. You can tell a lot more about the cleanliness of a place during a pedicure. quite frankly, I think all of the local establishments are a little bit lacking in some area or another and I've learned to put up with that. I maintained my demeanor and said ok and paid. But I knew she intentionally did this to force extra $10 tips for her employees which is not a good business practice. She also told an adult that entered the shop 30 minutes later getting her nails done was $50 so I realized she did not give me the any discount for the actual price of $55. This is the regular amount originally for the more expensive nails my daughter asked for this time. I was recommending this nail salon to everyone but I don't appreciate the way she handled the situation and how she began to speak poorly and got cringy stares from staff as if I was trying to change what I asked for on a regular basis over the last 4 years for little girls. I also realized she charged me more than I owed because it was actually $118 in total not $120. I'll definitely find another place that is honest and forthcoming about charges. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here and will not be coming back! I asked for a basic dip manicure and the man who did my nails took almost two hours (because he was talking the whole time) and made me bleed on about 4 of my fingernails/fingers. When I returned to my car, I noticed my fingers were filled with small cuts on them from him filing them so hard. So I paid $75 for a full set of nails. NP of they would've been done properly. My thumbs don't match up. First they don't cover the whole nail, second ones thicker than the other. Back home they take their time making sure all my nails are perfect b4 I leave. I usually spend $100 considering the nail art and rhinestones plus tip. They're very basic in designs. I was dropping off my dry cleaning and stumbled upon this place and I thought I would give it a chance. However, I will not be going back. The nail techs were extremely unfriendly. I barely got a hello. The only conversation was for me to buy more services and to pay. It also seemed dirty. I was uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. Nothing seemed sanitized. Another thing to note, that they are super fast. Manicure and pedicure was done in 30 minutes combined. I had lots of nail polish all over my hand due to the rushing. It was a really bad experience. I haven't had my nails done in some time and stopped by for a full set without an appt. I was happy they could fit me in but knew I might not be getting the best set if that was possible on short notice. The people were pretty nice. My manicurist was silent the entire time...kind of awkward. The shape of my nails are all over the place and not even. I probably will go somewhere else for my fills and try to get them to look a little better. This place was super easy. I was a walk in and didn't have to wait. I got the mani pedi combo for $38. Can't go wrong with that price! I had only an hour total and asked if they could make that work. They did and gave me extra time to dry my nails. The Polish did not chip after one week. I was very happy with my experience and will go again. No complaints. This is a great place for a walk in. I just left finest nails-I opted for the deluxe mani (she even threw in the hot stone massage for free, without me inquiring about it), a shellac manicure, and an eyebrow wax. I had Tina, and she's amazing. She's very polite and did a completely perfect job. The deluxe manicure is more than worth it, their is definitely more bang for your buck than other places around. Shellac manicure is also impeccable-they don't try to upsell you on anything and have millions of colors. The 10% student discount, another great bonus. I'll definitely be returning. read more

Went here recently for a no chip mani and a pedi. The no chip mani was done pre-vacation which was my reason for going. Well, I went too early since it lasted only six days before beginning to peel. On day seven my index finger polish completely peeled off (it had begun to peel day before), and then it snagged on my purse and was done. Also did the pedi pre-vacation. While trimming around my nail, the woman doing my pedi actually cut into my skin causing it to bleed. Fortunately, I used antibacterial ointment and peroxide and did not get an infection. The polish itself became dull within a week and now, not even two weeks later, already looks old and needs to be redone. I would suggest to not try this place if you want the value for your money vs a quick fix. read more

I just had the worst experience at Finest Nails. I went there with a friend because she went there regularly and I am not very picky about nail salons. I got a man who seemed a little off, but did not want to be rude so I just went with it. However after he was "finished" with my nails I noticed some nails looked wavy, and gel polish should not look wavy. So I pointed it out to him and he tried to wipe some more alcohol on it and it instead wiped the color right off. So, he redid the nails in question. Then, I got a pedicure. During my pedicure he dropped some of the exfoliating cream on the ground and picked it up and put it on my leg! Ew! While I was waiting for my toes to dry under the dryer I start to look at my fingernails some more and notice others are wavy and I start to pull on them and the nail polish moves around and comes off. I got the attention of the lady who seemed to be in charge and she was very apologetic. So she took me back over (this is after being here over 1.5 hours and having some nails redone once already) and starts to wrap my fingers and take it all back off. I tried to tell her that two on each hand were already redone but she wanted to fix it all (which I appreciate the thought of). So I had to sit around for another 5-10 to let the nail polish remover soak. Then she started taking it all off and all the nails that had not been redone slid right off but the ones that had were gelled on so she had to let it sit longer and in the mean time had to file all of the base coat off. (Turns out each of the nail colors they use comes with a plain nail polish and a gel and he put the regular on my nails instead of the gel). Long story short, I said just remove it, I need to go home, I want a refund. She said "Ok I'll refund you $25" and I asked "How much is a gel manicure" and she said they were $35, but I got my nails shaped and all and that is $15. And I told her I had wasted a lot of time here and wanted a full refund and she obliged. Then on a side note, someone who was a friend of the family or something and was hanging around loudly called one of the workers a "B****" right in front of myself and another customer, very unprofessional. The ladies will pick who they want to take care off based on the amount of money you will pay, I had a bad job done to my nails a day prior to my visit so I was hoping this place would help me out by changing my color and styling them better but when that saw that was the only service I needed they decided to take care of other clients that got there after me and have me wait until they were done with the two other clients to finally take care of me, when they did the lady was very bossy on how I should get them done and ended up saying too much she was too busy so basically rushed. Clean, relaxing, friendly, did a great job on my nails, and no upselling. Priced comparably to other salons in the area but offer a better experience.
