I also noticed they greeted customers they knew with pleasant familiarity. The previous owner, I believe, fell ill so her business fell flat but the new owners want to bring life into the business. I saw Kenzie and showed her a couple inspo pics and explained a couple hair issues I have, and she got to work. She was friendly, and we had a few nice conversations, but also some non-awkward silence, which was relaxing. I didn't feel pressure to make small talk. Even though I arrived a couple minutes late, she was able to complete some foils, a toner, a cut, and a blow dry with time to spare before I had to leave to cross town to teach a yoga class, which was also greatly appreciated! I absolutely love the results - it was just what I was looking for. I'd had an emotionally draining appointment just before going in, so it was a relief in so many ways to be so pleased with the outcome and leave with more confidence and pep in my step.
