I called to make sure that they accepted walk ins which they did. When I arrived at 2 pm on a Thursday I had to sit and wait for around 20 minutes. When they took me I showed a photo of what I wanted to the tech. One person started working on me then I was moved to another person. He started working on me and really hurt me with the automatic file. My hand is still hurting a day later. He was nice though. He never asked me what color I was doing and started to do plain nails. I asked him if he was doing the pink I asked for and he had no idea. So he had to repaint my nails pink instead of plain clear. For a full set it was $65. I had a younger lady for my pedicure who was super nice and did a good job on them. However when getting my fingers done I had asked for gel on my natural nail. When prepping she continued to pick at my cuticles and cut my fingers open in three fingers. I had flinched a couple times as she had put on some sort of alcohol after creating an open wound, and she didn't seem to care that she had done that. Even went as far as to go back and use them on that finger again! read more

This place never disappoints! Whether I have a reservation or a walk in, they always make room for you. After greeted and sat they always offer a water which is a nice touch. They have a bunch of variety when it comes to nails and have attention to details! I had help from 2 ladies, I was able to get my nails and toes done. They respected that I wanted short nails which sometimes can be suggested I go longer. Everyone has different life styles, long nails do not work for me especially with car seats. Amber and, I believe his name is Tran, lack manners and customer service skills and don't seem to care about their clients' experience. Amber does quality work but lacks friendliness and overall manners. I believe Tran is the owner and severely lacks customer service skills. I scheduled an appointment for a full set, but because I also said "manicure" when I scheduled my appointment, that apparently justifies him awkwardly and aggressively correcting me. He then rushed through my appointment & my nails looked absolutely awful. Had to go and get them fixed somewhere else the next day. He contested me about the length, shape, and color - literally every aspect of what I had originally come in there for. My fiancé also had an appointment for a pedicure and was in the chair for a total of 10 minutes. The older lady that took care of him barely did anything for him. His feet looked the exact same when she was done and she still charged him full price. I do not recommend this salon and unfortunately my friends who I have recommended this place to have also had awful experiences here. Just go somewhere else, it's not worth your time. Future Nails down the street was able to accommodate me next day to get my nails fixed & they had MUCH better customer service. read more

Nails are uneven. Male mail tech who I'm pretty sure was the owner or the owners husband took his time but couldn't really see what he was doing and didn't really know what he was doing. My nails are coming up from the acrylic nails on top. Also didn't appreciate the mail tech constantly making visible auditory noises every time he couldn't twist my finger enough to do his job. Worst nail salon that I have ever been to! Save your money and go somewhere else. When I went here I was a walk-in it was around 12:30-1:00pm on a Tuesday and there was only one other client getting her nails done with two other workers just sitting nothing. When I walked in I asked them if they had time to do a dip manicure and gel removal the lady immediately said "do you have an appointment?" I stated no and she just pointed at the chair for me to sit down and shook her head. When I asked to see the color selection she said nothing and proceed to gathered the supplies to take my gel polish off and i noticed she used foil that appeared to be used by a previous client because it was in the shape of a finger tip. When I asked her about it she said nothing and preceded to go on. After she had my nail soaking she tossed the basket of nail colors at me and said "pick a color." Which was hard to do with the nail clips on. As I was picking a color she was sitting right in front of me tapping her finger on the table like she wanted me to hurry up. Keep in mind I only had the colors for 5 minutes. So I rushed to pick one. After I had a nail color picked she proceeded to grind off my gel nail polish and immediately after started the dip process. When I asked her about my cuticles ,cleaning under my nails and filing them she told me that I didn't need it. I told her I would like her to do that because I'm paying for it. She disregarded what I said and proceeded to go on with what she wanted to do. My entire dip manicure was about 15 minutes in total. I have been going to this salon for at least 2 years since I've moved to milwaukee, every time has been at least decent besides one or two. However, I was just in for a no chip manicure and it didn't even hold up for a week before it started chipping and peeling and getting caught on things. It was an older man who did my nails, and they were painted sloppy to begin with. It has now been a week and a half and I'm left with about 3 nails still painted. I tried to contact Amber who I believe is the manager and she would do nothing for me besides give me another nail tech for my next visit. For someone who has been giving them my money for the last 2 years I am very unhappy that nothing could be done for me. Won't be returning. I am very sorry to be leaving a review like this because I've been going there for a while. Every time you go there they don't even say hi to you they just ask you if you have an appointment so Tuesday at 9:30 I called right away so that I could book an appointment with them for an hour and nobody ever answered the phone. So I decided just to go and do a walk in. Guy that works there right away jumps up from the table and runs to me and asked if I have an appointment and I tell him know that I've been calling all morning but nobody answered. He got an attitude with me and said that's because we're busy. And then asked me if I would come back later? (Really? Nice customer service) so I ask him what time and then he goes to another person speaks a different language and tells me it's gonna be about 20 minutes. In the meantime his dog runs up to me and I start petting her and then tells me not to let her jump up on me. Here's an idea! Don't bring the dog to work with you because you're violating numerous health codes! Do you have a shedding long-haired dog to a lot of people could be highly allergic! Then the lady who did my nails was so rough with the drill that she cut open my cuticle and it was bleeding and left numerous loose skin pieces all over the top of my cuticles. Then she had the nail file and was brushing so hard she actually cut open my finger tip. Then I told her how I wanted my nails to give that claw look and all she did was give me a round tip nail. They drill gel polish off severely damaging your nail bed. If you have regular polish on they use a super rough file and file against the grade of your nail which is completely against what is taught in cosmotogy school. It causes shredding! They do these things all while trying to convince you that you should go with porcelain nails. Their goal is to damage your nails to make money by damaging your nails so much that they become so weak you'll buy into needing porcelain nails. My nails are so thin its painful. They are splitting on the ends because of their intentional bad filing and drilling. I did ask Kathy to stop. She would for a minute and then go back to it acting like she didn't understand. Very poor experiences both times I went here. I arrived exactly on time for my nail appointment, but had to wait an hour and 30 minutes for anyone to even start working on my nails. During that entire time, nobody apologized or provided any information or explanation. I would have left had I not been there with a friend since I had a commitment later that night (I ended up being late because of this). When a nail tech finally started working on my nails, I mentioned how long I waited. She apologized and was at least kind to me, saying that there was an employee who was home sick that day and that's why I had to wait. I understand that certain things are outside of their control, but they should've cancelled the appointment if they couldn't honor it, or at the very least warned me about the wait when I arrived. Leaving me to wait for 90 minutes without doing or saying anything was completely unacceptable. I told them about their failure to honor my appointment when I paid, and I was given a measly $5 discount. The only other time I got a manicure here, the nail technician was rough, literally yanking my arms and fingers throughout the manicure. He was also somewhat rude and took a ridiculously long time to complete my nails- around an hour for a basic gel manicure. On top of all of this, my gel nails started chipping 3 days after I got them done. I have never had gel nails chip this quickly before- they are supposed to last two weeks! I work in a restaurant and they last for so long no lifting at all. Such a great place to get your nails done at and they do eyebrows and eyelashes very well too!!! Worst salon experience I've ever had. I went to c'est la vie nails before they shut down so I decided to try valencia out. That was a bad idea. Firstly, they took 20 minutes to start on me even though I had an appointment and got there on time. Then they put me in the foot bath for 30 minutes with cold water while they worked on other customers. Then another employee finally shows up to do my pedi. She picked the wrong color match, did a fast & sloppy job. After she was done, I had to wait even more while people kept coming in and were being serviced right away. My nails weren't even started yet. They work on 2-3 people at the same time, even with pedicures which is gross & unsanitary, they don't wash their hands in between customers. Also no gloves. During a pandemic... Amber was so rough when filing/buffing and now I find myself with a swollen, red, and very painful middle finger where I had a hangnail. She kept buffing & buffing it. I brought this up to Amber, the manager, who said she couldn't refund me for my horrible experience. All for a very high price. Not worth it at all. read more
