Started going here for my lashes, went here approximately four times to give Lauren a chance to do my lashes, every single time. I was not happy with my fills. Consistently had to correct her and fills took no less than two hours. Which normal fills are an hour to an hour and a half. Then, after coming back from vacation, I receive a message from her stating that maybe I should look for a different lash artist because she gets too stressed doing my lashes. I gave her four chances to do my lashes correctly, however, she did not like being corrected, when my lashes were uneven, not the mapping that I asked for or not filled in properly. Not to mention, I asked her to take off the old Lashes and do a complete new set and she did not want to. She stated she did not like doing full sets if she didn't need to. Then she would use the excuse that I didn't have enough Lashes, but other lash artist were able to get my lashes, completely full exactly how I wanted them. If you've been wanting (but debating) getting your eyebrows micro-bladed, here is your sign to do it! I genuinely went back and forth for a year about doing this. This service is essentially a permanent make up application for your brows. Permanent meaning 12-18 months before you'd need a touch up, which is still quite a long time! I was nervous because I wanted to be sure they looked as natural as possible, the shape was correct, and that they color matched my existing brows. Lauren was amazing and did not disappoint! I first went in for a consult appointment where we went over everything in detail, and she took measurements/mapping of my face and brows. This helps make sure everything is symmetrical. Then a week or so later I came in to get the service itself done. The whole thing took about two hours, as Lauren is so precise and detailed. For this process, an extremely small blade is used to make tiny, hair-like incisions right above the dermis layer of your skin while depositing pigment directly into those incisions. Contrary to what some may say about microblading, I really didn't think it hurt at all. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup, having my brows look complete and natural has always been my main focus. Let me tell ya, I am SO happy with the results! The color and shape are on point. Lauren definitely took extra care and time for my lashes. I told her I wanted a natural look for my Punta Cana trip, which then after I'd have to go back to work. She absolutely nailed it. I even saw my parents before the trip and they didn't realize that my lashes were fake. I was at the pool and the beach and didn't have deal with wearing makeup. Now that I'm back in Milwaukee, they still look amazing. I had to get used to taking more care when sleeping and washing my face. I have noticed some more of my natural lashes falling out but they still look fab and it's not noticeable at all. Placement did take a little over 2 hours and I felt bad that I kept moving my legs because I was getting restless, but that's because she was working magic on my lashes. My decision to take the quick route was instant regret when I opened my eyes. I couldn't believe that my eyebrows looked worse leaving than coming in. I got a tint and a threading. I am new to the area (originally from Chicago) and have had a hard time finding all new girls to beautify me! I am also new to eye lash extensions as I never thought they looked comfortable or natural. I went to a salon downtown MKE for my very first last extension visit over a month ago and had a terrible experience. I didn't like how they looked and they fell out immediately.
