It's very calming, with neutral colors and a spacious waiting area on the main floor with cozy couches. There is a very cute coffee bar in the waiting are, which definitely gives the space a very unique feel! I've never seen a feature like that in a salon space before. Despite the number of rooms, the space has always been pretty quiet and relaxing when I have been there. If you are looking for a new, unique salon experience I would definitely recommend checking out the wide variety of stylists, make up artists, and more who work out of Avery and Birch.

(also did not have that customer fill out the appointment form, which is interesting considering they practically bark at you the second you walk through the door to fill it out). I can understand that it was just one lady in the floor today but when you had rushed through my eyebrow threading, consistently hitting me in the eye, no apology for doing that either ( I forgot manners aren't really a thing anymore these days). Then when she had handed me the mirror to look over her work, I felt extremely rushed and overwhelmed by her. After paying and being able to actually get a look at the threading work I noticed there were a few mistakes still. I tried to go back in to see if she would be able to fix it but I didn't see her & my patience had already worn thin at this point. Needless to say, I probably won't be back. Just wanted to put this out there so people are aware of what type of services they are paying for at this establishment.

They are friendly, welcoming, and efficient when your service begins. Appointments are almost always on time unless there was an unexpected customer issue. I do miss conversational time as the two ladies in charge carry on a continuous banter in their native language and say very little to customers. They occasionally stop to ask the customer "is it okay, are you okay", so they do recognize that we are there. I miss a few of the other girls who have come and gone who were a bit more interested in talking to their clients despite any language barriers. Many of them seem to work for a short time and then they are gone. But as far as high quality nail work, I feel Beauty 9 deserves five stars.
