    What she got. $55

Update: I got my nails "fixed". The curve of the nail isn't there. The three that got "fixed" are flat and lumpy. My sister who is still out of town has been sending me updates. Her nails have chipped, bubbled and two have popped off. The owner, the husband, Twan Le told me that she probably just ripped them off to try and get a refund. Said he cannot refund me for her pedicure either. Offered me the tip back and the design for her nails refunded. $20. Out of $105 and him and the other three began to laugh and yell at me saying too bad that's their policy. I asked to see the policy and he said they don't have one. Do not go here. They don't have a price list for nails. This business is scamming individuals.

    Turtle backs.

Terrible service. They don't tell you additional charges beforehand. Make sure you ask how much the service will be ahead of time. Despite their sign accepting walk ins they only schedule by appts. What I asked for vs what I got!

Tried someplace new for my pedicure! Cheaper than my usual spot, clean and friendly. I highly recommend!

I paid $30 for a pedicure and, while it doesn't include callus treatment, it's still one of the cheapest around.

So... I have been here 3 times and waited writing a review. The first time was great! I thought…read morethis was my place! But... the next time. Wasn't so sure and then the last time, I thought nope. Guess not. Here is the skinny. I always get gel on my hands and regular for a pedi. I always get some sort of design on one finger when I get my hands done. I was going to a wedding so I asked for daisies or flower on the finger I usually get a design. Great! They can do it. Yay! Well, as I am sitting for my pedicure on my day off. So ready for a relaxing hour of nothingness.... a women enters with her small teddy bear dog. So cute. So sweet. I thought. And then... I listen. She knows the owner apparently. But what I hear makes me crazy. "oh your'e not being a good service dog". What!? Really?! What! Look I'm ok with well behaved or decent behaved dogs But... this was not. But for being a small dog, it would have been a disaster. Well it was for me anyway as I try to set a good example with my two very large dogs I take everywhere I can (and that is appropriate of course). So. Moving on... I watch the dog and the owner doing nothing about the dog running back in to the front and back of the salon. I watch the dog then jump in the front window and actually bark and oncoming people waling with kid and a stroller and I say to myself, what the heck? I am so embarrassed and angry that these are the people that make good dogs look bad and a service dog? Really? Lets just say a service dog is over 10,000 to train and attain and there is a wait list for our vets who take priority. I don't understand. What I heard here is "I made sure that I had a choice to train your dog friendly or not and I chose friendly". Ummm my dogs are friendly if I allow but they ignore you when they are working on a normal day just to do what they are asked. But I like all dogs and being small not so bothersome. Well the dog is jumping on my nail technicians back as she sits to work on my pedicure. Hardly ignorable . Then when I am getting my hands done, she is under the table and is all over my feet. Unbelievable. But I AM a dog lover. Ignore but this is very inappropriate and I bad business for the owner I believe. Furthermore. The service itself... I believe perhaps the dog was also distracting to the technicians. While I'm getting my gel mani completed, she smears the white flowers making them pink but doesn't say anything and tells me to place my hand in the light. I do it and then think wait this is going to be permanent. Anyway. I do say something and she kind of looked at me and said "it's ok". Ummm no it's not. It's over 110.00 for this so yeah it kind of isn't I have a wedding to attend. Well... needless to say I was also distracted and a little embarrassed for the lady but then I took a video sending it to a good dog training friend to vent. Yes distasteful and just bad for good dog owners. Not to mention probably not sanitary for patrons. In the end I left with my pink (supposed to be white flowers) on one hand and just waited till I had time to write the review. The owner had spoke of starting nail school and I see recently did across the streetish and I think she is great and so sweet. Well earned and so happy. I just hope she sees that this is really not a good experience or good practice in the future. Thank you for your time in reading my review.

I agree that the salon is not much to look at from the outside - almost missed it when I was…read moreheading to my appointment - plus the only way to enter the parking lot is from the side street, so I was pulling a couple U-turns to get in. I was gifted with a certificate and was happily surprised to find an Aveda salon right here in Wauwatosa! I wanted a massage, but they no longer offer them. So, I opted for a new service I've never had before - a facial! I made an appointment for a 90-minute Dual Exfoliation Peel and was paired with Lisa, who is absolutely incredible. Lisa walked me through every step of the process as I was a newbie. Starting with changing into a sarong, slipped, and comfy robe, we did a foot soak and light foot/leg massage. Then back to the private room where I laid on the table. The lights were turned down to a calming level which was nice. The one really off-putting thing in this otherwise calming room was the ceiling - there were HUGE brown water stains on the ceiling tiles that were absolutely disgusting. It's not hard to replace a few tiles, so that surprised me. Luckily my eyes were closed most of the time. Also the music wasn't particularly relaxing with drum beats and chanting sometimes. She started with a "sensory journey" where I got to choose an oil scent I found pleasing out of three. Then she exfoliated my whole face with a nice scrub, really focusing on getting the dead skin layer off and not just "petting" my face with the product. Between each mask I got a hot towel, which was heavenly being wiped on my neck and face. We did a chemical peel (not like you're picturing, remember Aveda is all natural and vegan!) where the cooling part was first, and the second was a nice warming sensation. The facial even including a light neck massage and she did a wonderful job on my arms and hands. The results were shocking - I did look smooth and refreshed, and learned more about proper skincare routines for my skin. I 100% absolutely recommend this salon, this service, and I want to be friends with Lisa - she was so friendly and great! The price tag was very high for regular treatments ($150 for the 90 minute treatment) so I don't know when I'd be able to afford to come back - but they did a wonderful job. They also have a full Aveda shop in the front to stock up on your products, really nice to not have to go into Mayfair or to pay shipping. ProTip - if you're a first timer mention the $20 discount on the website!

Gave the owner/manager an opportunity to rectify this very upsetting experience, but she became defensive, indicating she would "discuss with staff at their next meeting". Really? How unprofessional and inappropriate. I get my hair done faithfully every 6-8 weeks and never need extra product. The stylist begged to style my hair, which consisted of using her hands to twist my wet hair. This was $27 up-charge unbeknown to me! Had I taken a picture of the discarded "extra" product mentioned, I would have posted as it was about 1/3 of a bowl. Clearly appeared to have been dispensed for the extra $$ which wasn't needed or used. Would have given an extra star had I not been taken advantage of. Seems as if it was a communication issue. But the fact remains, when the owner/manager is given an opportunity to rectify and does nothing, says a lot for that business on how they treat clients. #1 attribute in any successful business is customer service. They do, however give new clients a sample "gift bag" which consists of some of the samples Aveda gives when you purchase sets or liters. So to ease my mind, I felt as if I purchased the gift bag. Note: They do offer a $20 coupon on their website to new clients. Thank goodness I remembered or I would have been even more disappointed. The stylist should acknowledge new clients with this advertised promotion. Luckily I mentioned it after the shocking total cost was announced. Hopefully this helps others be aware of silent uncharges and hopefully getting what you need or want and not more.

I started with the pedicure, and was placed in a massage chair. Minus the star for that: it was the most uncomfortable massage I have ever had from a chair, and was actually a little painful at times. The pedicure was lovely. I have extremely ticklish feet, and the tech never got me once! From there I was moved out into "general pop" and received my manicure. Again, a lovely experience. I had artificial nails put on where needed, and opted for a dip powder. Best decision ever! My nails didn't show any signs of wear for at least a month! I don't get manicures (and certainly not pedicures) on the regular, like a lot of people do, so I can't say with any certainty that I will be back, but I did enjoy my experience and would recommend. 34/2023

I was considering my options because drawing them in daily is a pain. Especially when you can't see without readers. I scheduled a consultation with Preet to discuss microblading and other more permanent options, and added on a tinting session to walk out with something tangible. I had to go to the Tosa location to see her, which was a hike. She mentioned that she might start adding hours on the East side, which would be great, as she is the only one who performs the advanced services. The shop is pretty spare, but Preet explained all the safety techniques she uses to ensure a hygienic experience. She was friendly, thorough and unrushed.
