They don't do a good job here and I've never been treated with such disrespect at a nail salon. Last time a 13 year old girl did my nails (horribly) but I came back against my better judgement. They moved me ten minutes into my appt to the back chair then promptly forgot about me for 45 minutes to accommodate a mass of other people. Go anywhere else! read more

I recently had my nails done here and unfortunately, did not have a good experience. I came in as a walk-in on a midday afternoon. The staff was able to see me right away, though the place was relatively busy. Unfortunately, after that I felt that the whole service was very rushed and haphazard. I sat down and it took them a total of 20 minutes to finish my gel manicure, and they didn't really make the coats even or spend time to make it look good. For the price I paid, I was dissatisfied with my service. This may have been an off day for the salon, however, I would rather have them turned me away due to being busy, then have obtained a rushed, subpar experience. read more

34/M. 3rd time ever having a manicure and pedicure so I consider my standards low. Very nice people. Today is my second time visiting this establishment since it's close to apartment. The first time I went I got basic manicure and pedicure. I was unsatisfied with the amount of cuticles went untouched on my fingers. The gentleman was nice though. Thought I'd give it a second try and ask for a different person. I did. This time I upgraded my options and the same exact same thing happened after paying MORE. so much dead skin left on foot. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend Nail Craft. This is the second time they've asked for payment in the middle of my manicure--before my nails have even dried or the service has been completed. Not only is this inconvenient, but I also noticed that they don't do this with every customer, which raises concerns about inconsistent treatment. A quality nail salon should prioritize customer experience and professionalism, ensuring that all clients feel valued and receive the same level of service. Y'all. This was a $95 (before tip) manicure. These pictures were taken ten minutes after I got home from the appointment. Appointment was at 12:30pm, I left at 2:42pm. There's paint and glue on my hands, it looks like toddler painted them, and my nails weren't even attached to the tips she applied on multiple fingers. Both their length and shape were completely butchered. Oh! And! All while the owner's two young children ran around the salon, bumping into our chairs multiple times, screaming, locking themselves in the bathroom, yelling to be let out, and then the Dad (I'm assuming?) yelled to the youngest from across the room "Do you have poop in your pants?", proceeds to change the kid's diaper behind a curtain RIGHT NEXT TO US, (HEALTH CODE VIOLATION?!) instead of the bathroom with a door. Thinking it couldn't possibly get more unprofessional and disgusting than that, he then yells to the front for someone to "grab the spray so it doesn't smell like poop in here", which it did, everyone working just ignored him, while I looked around in disbelief. This is all on top of hearing 2x-3x customers complain in real time around me, but I was already in it. Woman to my right, her nails got botched, woman providing the service shrugged it off until the customer just said "okay I guess it's fine." Woman behind me getting a pedicure argued for at least three minutes saying the color she was seeing on her toes wasn't right, she wanted light pink and this was bright orange. Woman painting her nails just gaslit tf out of her until she said "ok." This? This is what $95 gets you at Nail Craft?! I wouldn't pay $1 for service and technique so terrible. I saw my finished nails, and couldn't get out soon enough. Will never, ever be back. Couldn't pay me. I try not to leave negative reviews, but this was insane start to finish. Save your money and your sanity, don't go here. I don't even understand why this place exists tbh. *edited* Cannot make this up. This was my first visit at Nail Craft - I'm a hand model so I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to my manicures, and I was so pleased with my experience here! I needed an acrylic fill pretty last minute and they were able to accommodate me almost right away. The older gentleman took care of me and did a wonderful job. I came in to get a gel x full set since acrylic damages my nails a lot and I'm very happy with what I left with. I'm also very happy when they told me they couldn't do a specific design instead of attempting to do it and ruining my experience. The second design we went with is beautiful and the woman who did them was super sweet and patient with me. It also took way less time than having acrylics done- on average for acrylics I'd say an 1.5-2 hrs and it only took her about 45 mins to an hour. read more

Scheduled an appointment via instagram dm around lunch on a weekday. Received a gel x manicure from Michael twice now and had a great experience. He was very kind and accommodating. I did have plans immediately after the first time and wasn't seen at my appointment time- had to wait about 30 minutes but it wasn't bad. The second time I was a walk in, and waited just as long but was taken care of with patience. Love the decor and salon set up. Everything seems very clean as well. Will be back. If I have any feedback, I'd say that I wish it were easier to set an appointment, maybe online. Would recommend going midday to get the most of your service when they're not super busy. read more

Maybe they do great nails because they have a lovely space for it, I'll give it that, but I'll certainly never know. And the way they dismissed me after telling me they would be to take me was confirmation of that. Was visiting from out of town and was super jazzed after the photos of great manicures, hoping for a lovely mani to round out what had been a great getaway with the hubby. But that plan was a wash. I understand appointments run long and I must have come later than I should have (which is odd because I was given colors to look at for at least 10 minutes). That said, considering how I was handled, it's hard to feel I would have gotten good customer service after the backpedal on my last minute appointment even though I would I was there an hour before closing. First the lady at the front was a little snobby because I wanted to wait for John I think his name is he is great and the only reason I would come back! But today I got a pedicure which is a gel pedicure for $60 there was dead skin left on my feet she barely even scrubbed them then the way my nails were even filed it was not clean work at all I asked for a French tip and u could see through the white polish that is when I finally drew the line and said I can't this needs to be painted over!!! It was more white paint on my actual toe than the top and she was not going to clean it and when I asked her to clean it she tried filing the paint off my toe it looks like my 14 yr old daughter did my feet and on top of that even tho I did not get polish I was charged an extra $5 for French tip!! So I really liked the place and the main lady. At first she seemed to be annoyed at me but then she warmed up to me. Less than an hour after I left 2 of my nails chipped. Sadly I'm from of town and couldn't go back. The chipping of my nail is getting worse and worse and day 5 my entire nail drop off. I'm on vacation in Italy. The lady who did my nails put oil on my toenail cuticles, which I thought was kind of odd right after she checked to make sure that the color was dry before I put my socks and shoes back on. I come home and my nails are completely stuck to my sock and now the colors all messed up. The color obviously was not dry enough so I don't know why she told me I was OK to go... UGH!!! DO NOT GO HERE! Where do I even start... My friend and I walked in for a pedicure and dip mani this morning. We didn't have an appointment but we're told it was no problem. As they're starting our pedicures, their customers with appointments for the same time arrive, and they begin speeding through our pedicures. The younger guy proceeds to tell us that we are no longer going to get our manicures because they need to prioritize scheduled clients. This would have all been perfectly understandable HAD THAT BEEN COMMUNICATED to us when we first walked in for the services. We would have chosen a different spot if we knew we couldn't get our manicures with our pedicures. Our pedicures finished in a rush, only for me to notice they put the wrong color on my toes. They failed to communicate (once again) that the color I had originally picked out was only available in gel. It was a whole battle with them explaining that I was not okay with my color and not going to pay for a color that I didn't want. Finally after a heated debate with them that was going absolutely nowhere, they changed my toe color, but we walked out without manicures, unhappy with our pedicures, and with a really sour taste in our mouths from the whole experience. There was ZERO sense of remorse or apology or accountability, particularly by the younger employees that work there. I've had many mani/pedis in my lifetime, and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. And just poor business practices. Learn to take accountability for your mistakes and stop putting it on the customer. read more

This was the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I went in for a dipped manicure and came out with a gel manicure that look like absolute crap and it costed me $47.15. That price is with a 15% tip! I was a walk in and there was only one other person getting their nails done. The lady toss me the bucket of colors and proceeded to grab my hand and start filing. I asked if I could please pick out a color first because it's hard to pick out a color when somebody's working on my hands, she proceeded to go on anyways, and continued to file my nails. I asked her again, and then she mumbled something under her breath, and stopped grabbing for my hand. I apologized and was very nice about it. After I found color all she did was file my nails and pretend to cut my cuticles didn't push them back or anything. The other girl left and the three workers continue to talk as I sat there I told the lady I wanted to dip manicure, and she proceeded with gel and ignored me. Here are the final results. I also have a bunch of sharp part all over my nails that she didn't file that I asked her to. I will never be going back read more

So as I mentioned in my last review, this place is normally willing and able to service me with or without an appointment, which is why when me and my sister were looking to get a gel pedicure and feet/hand color change respectively the same day I suggested we try here. I call ahead and explain the types of services we wanted, and the woman put us down for two gel pedicures at 4pm. Upon checking in, she says she only booked for one person, but the whole point of us coming at 4 was so we could both be serviced. After this first misunderstanding, and waiting for 20+ minutes, she then tells us she'll only be able to do a gel pedi and a toe polish. My sister then tells me "I don't feel like getting just my toes done here, so you can just get your pedicure and I'll go somewhere else" and this woman butts into our conversation telling my sister she's being rude. At this point she's now accusing me of lying about the scheduling situation, she's yelling at us for being "rude and aggressive", and she's telling us to leave the shop. Which is fine, because at this point we're grabbing our stuff and walking out anyways. Later that day my sister calls back (calmly and professionally) to speak with a manager about our mistreatment, and it happens to be the same lady that kicked us out. After repeatedly telling my sister that "she was the problem" and talking over her, she then screams at her to "shut up". Rightfully so, she looses her cool and starts cursing, and THIS WOMAN HUNG UP AND CALLED THE POLICE ON MY SISTER. I've been patronizing this nail shop for almost a year, with no issue. But as soon as I bring my darker skinned sister into the shop, we're now being labeled "rude" and "aggressive"?? Seems to me that this lady is not only overworked-considering she couldn't even keep her story straight about the scheduling miscommunication and didn't start preparing for us to get service until 20 minutes after our appointment time- but she's also prejudice. So yea, don't go here during peak business hours since they're clearly overwhelmed and understaffed, and definitely don't go there if you're anything darker than tan, you'll surely be labeled "loud and rude" for doing anything besides sit there quietly and give them money. read more

Hieu is the best! He has done my nails a number of times, and I am always pleased by the results! He remembers the shape and colors I like and is generally very nice. There is slight language barrier but that's never really gotten in the way; he always double checks if there's any confusion. I have had my nails done by two other folks; one was great and I think she might be the owner? The other one was a young woman and there was an issue with the color curing (it was a dark color), so I had to go back the next day and have 5 nails re-done which was a bummer. Even with this being said I was able to get in quickly and it was done for free. I do wish I was offered a refund, mostly due to the amount of time that it took (my initial appointment was almost 1.5 hours for a plain color and then next day was almost an additional 45 minutes). Also, I told the woman who was doing my nails I didn't think the UV light was on long enough which she brushed off-- turns out I was used to double the time in the UV light because I usually choose dark nail colors. Now I know! Even though it was a little bit of a pain, I'm not mad about it because everyone is learning and she fixed them up the next day. I will definitely ask for Hieu next time I go back in because he knows me lol but I overall I would still recommend this place and trust other nails techs as well. Lastly, I usually do a walk in appointment in the morning and never have to wait. The environment is clean and also very peaceful even when there are more people there. I made an appointment a month in advance as I was just moving to Milwaukee and would need a place to get my nails done. When I showed up at the time of the appointment, none of the probably 10 workers said anything as I awkwardly stood there then after a minute or two one of them asked what I wanted done and I said I had an appointment for gel-x removal and new set. He said I would have to wait. I said how long, because my appointment time is for right now. He said everybody was busy and I said ok well I made an appointment so how long will I have to wait, he took about 60 seconds to say you can pick your color and have a seat to which I once again said how long will I have to wait and he said I don't know. Went in for a simple manicure and pedicure. Left with painful fingers after the clear coat. And now it's the next day and two of my fingers look like they're infected. My first time there and a friend says there's still cuticle they forgot to remove. I don't know if I will be returning. They cared more about the money than the service of the client. read more
