This place can be hit or miss in all honesty, but when they hit, it's great! It seems like making appointments don't always mean you'll be seen at your appointment time. This can be frustrating but not uncommon at these types of nail salons. They have a lot of nail color choices which is awesome. The people are friendly and work pretty quickly. They offer a range of nail services, as well as waxing. They have decent prices, but sometimes change depending on who does your nails. Hoang is my personal favorite nail tech. He works efficiently and my nails always turn out great. He's polite and will converse with you if you'd like, or give you quiet. I just got green nails today and they look awesome! read more

This salon had nonstop service, and a full staff who worked really quickly. I walked in at 4pm and although there was a line of people who were waiting - I was helped the monent I got in. I was seated and getting my nails done about 10 minutes later. Everyone was masked. I had a younger male help me, and while the communication was a bit unclear at first (muffled behind mask and a slight accent, but nothing too bad) he really made up for it by the service. Unlike most nail techs I've gone too, he was a bit on the quieter side, but much more dilligent; he worked quickly, and made sure to triple check with me frequently to make sure I liked what he was doing. Although he did take me by surprise with his odd technique (basically alternating 3 nails per layer and then putting it under the light then 2, rather then doing all five at once) it turned out really nice. I expected them to have the decorative stickers but instead he did them by hand. I told him it didn't have too be too accurate as I know my nails aren't too long, but he did his best to match it as close as possible. My hands were also moisturized after. He didn't disappoint. My nails feel very luxurious even though this was gel change. If I remember correctly the purple base is 248. Tl;dr - Busy place, a medium expensive (but still acceptable) price, but great service and effort to make up for it. If you're patient and not in too much of a rush, I'd recommend. I'm not exactly sure how to rate this place. It's in a strip mall and was very busy. The actual interior leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet is dirty and worn out. Very strong chemical smells (poor ventilation). Chairs were stained and worn out. Staff members barely spoke English so it was hard to understand what they were saying. Here's how it went: I called Wednesday and made an appointment for two manicures Friday at 1pm. Appointment was confirmed by salon. We showed up Friday at 1245. We sat for almost an hour before my friend got her nails worked on. I just continued to sit there. Then, another station opened up but they took someone else who arrived way after us. Basically I sat there waiting for my friend to finish and the same person did my nails. While my nails were being done, two other people complained they had a 1pm appointment and by 2pm they both left, nails not done. Best manicure I have had in years, hands down. For $12+tip it was a bargain. The bad part, space was dirty and worn out and they had zero respect for customers' time. Well after 20 years I am going to go to a different salon just because of a different way I want polished . . But I did call and a fill is 1/4 the price I normally pay... I hope I like it? I had an appointment for 5:30, they seated me at 5:28 and left me sitting with my feet soaking for twenty minutes. Twenty minutes just to have your feet soaked? The paint job on my toes and fingers is horrible. And the massage they stated that came with a deluxe pedicure never happened. I called first to find out how busy they were for 2 manis. We were told to come right in and were greeted immediately with a friendly smile. We were both taken right after selecting our colors. My technician was so meticulous! She asked me continuously if it was ok. I will return and would recommend, even though they're in a strip mall and the interior could be updated. I went to Nails 2000 under the recommendation of several friends. I went on a Thursday night, explaining I wanted the dip polish and the man who did it was very nice. However, by Saturday night, I three nails where the dip had chipped off and exposed my natural nail. They are closed on Sunday, so I went back promptly after work on Monday. By then 2 of the 3 exposed nails had broken off. I explained what happened, they initially tried to say I had been typing too hard at my work. Regardless, they offered to fix the issues. A young woman removed the dip polish, filed down the broken nails and proceeded to put new dip polish on all my nails. She finished it off with two coats of clear, but no light treatments to the nails. They did not charge me, which was nice. However, on Wednesday, 2 days later, one of my nails had the corner polish chip off. Now today, Sunday (not even a week later) there are two more chips. I will never go to this place again. Dip polish has lasted up to 3 weeks for me from other places. read more

This place is great. The prices are fantastic, and there are 2 of the most hard-working ladies I have ever seen. They ALWAYS remember me, ask how my kids are, and don't complain one bit about my feet (in spite of the fact that it could have been 6 months since my last visit). I always feel obligated to tip them well because they're so friendly and just plain sweet...and I notice they are sweet to everyone that comes in. They can get pretty busy but I've never made an appointment and never had to wait too long. I've walked in 5 minutes before close, and was going to turn around (I didn't realize what time they closed and wouldn't have gone in if I had known it was so close to closing time because that's just rude) but they absolutely insisted I stay, and they were sincere about it. These ladies (and there are 2 men working in there most recently) truly deserve the money they make and it makes me feel good to continue to patronize such a place. read more

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU GO HERE!!!! There is one women who did my nails and I was so happy that I went back. The second time I went back it was a nightmare!! the guy doing my nails kept breaking the tips off before I could get acrylic on and then went I pointed out my nail was not straight he became rough and even made my finger bleed. To top it off against my judgement I wanted to get my eye brows waxed because I thought the lady would do it. He basically just said he had to do it then after I told him clearly what I wanted he messed my eye browns up. They have a ridiculously big space in between them and are uneven. Had a manicure, was the first appointment of the day and instruments did not appear clean. They were pulled from the drawer, no packaging, and didn't look like they had been sterilized. I still have old polish on my nails and will have to finish my own cuticles when I get home. It was cheap, but all that was done right was filing my nails. I unexpectedly had a couple hours to kill at lunchtime so I stopped in for a pedicure. There were a handful of other customers getting services but I was seated right away to get started. The place is a little worn and dated, so I was a bit worried about how the experience would be, but I am very happy with everything. There are 4 employees (maybe a family? - an older man and woman and a younger man and woman) and they were all very friendly. I opted for the deluxe pedicure and they really did an amazing job removing the rough patches, and the massage felt wonderful. The paint job is perfect and I got a couple of compliments for how good my pedicure looks. Best $35 I've spent in a long time. I will definitely be going back! read more

I have a place I go too regularly but was in the mood for a Yelp outting and chose Nails 2000 based off of ALL the positive reviews. To my surprise walking in it was completely empty and quite dirty feeling. Old plastic dusty plants hanging over mirrors and no recent updates. But before I could walk out I was seated right away and asked for a normal while tip acrylic fill. Shortly after getting started two more customers walked in and that's where it went downhill on my nails... The guy rushed thru cutting my cuticles a couple of times and sloping on polish and throwing a fan on me. He failed to notice the placement of the white tips and the brush hairs left behind under acrylic. I asked a couple of times to fix the shaping of the nails (square and not rounded) and he ignored my request. I ended up filing my own nails at home afterwards. And now to get them filled I will more than likely have to completely soak them off and start over. I still paid the asked price as well as a generous tip because that's the person I am but I will NOT be returning!! read more

They take whoever walks in and disregard any appointments. three people run around working on numerous clients at once, I had all three work on my nails. First time ever getting fake nails for my wedding. Had no clue so researched and decided on gel nails because it seems they are more natural looking and better for your nails which was very important because the nails were coming off in a month. Made the appointment for GEL nails. I was nervous about the apparent difficulty understanding English. Told two of the workers I was there for GEL nails. Was charged for GEL nails. They didn't look natural and I was disappointed. Stopped at another salon and found out they were actually ACRYLIC nails with gel polish!! MAN VERBALLY ABUSED AND YELLED AT ME, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. I would give zero stars if I could. I came in last night for a fill and gel polish by appointment, they sat me down and I waited twenty minutes before an older man from the back came and filed my polish off, then he got up and told me the young man would finish my nails when he was done with another costumer. This was annoying but I wrote it off, now when this young man is finally ready to do my nails he files them again essentially taking off all the support and thickness of the nail (I have stiletto nails so thicker nails are necessary) which I ignored because whenever a technician has filed my nails down so thin they replace a little bit of the width when they go into doing the fill and pull it across the nail. So I assumed he'd do that and fix it. Even when I haven't had stiletto nails, when a technician goes in to do the fill they pull a small amount of acrylic onto the rest of the nail to make sure the nail is even, he did not do this. He only put acrylic by my cuticle beds and it was completely lumpy/unsmoothed out and not to mention my nails were THIN. I pointed this out to him and politely asked if he'd pull the acrylic to the end, this man starts getting loud and defensive and telling me I am not paying for that- that I'm only paying for a fill. Which I understand 100% but this man starts going on a tangent whenever I try to say something or make a point about how I've never had to ask for someone to do that and how I'm not asking for anything out of the ordinary or extra, just for the fill to be done correctly so my nails aren't breaking off within three days. He starts yelling "you have long nails you have long nails" while holding onto my finger tips, I pull away and this man PULLS ME BACK IN to which I snap and tell him not to grab me if I'm taking my hand back, I tell him I'm going to leave and that I'll pay for whatever he's done so far but not for a full price fill. I told him he was so disrespectful and he screams I DONT CARE I DONT CARE. The girl next to him who was working quickly snapped at him and he immediately calms down and looks at me and goes "okay I'll do it for you". And I'm like WHAT, so now that she tells you to do it you will but when I politely asked, you yell in my face and call me names? I again say I want to leave. He looks ashamed for a moment and keeps telling me to calm down even though I haven't raised my voice once, every time I point out the fact that he's yelling and asking me to be calm, he looks like he feels stupid, then he starts yelling again and is standing up walking in circles in frustration, the girl who told him to do my nails correctly then tells me she'll do my nails and told him to finish her client who's sitting right next to me. I tell her I really would like to leave and I'll pay for half the service and go elsewhere. She insists on finishing my nails so I gave her my hand because I felt bad with all the other costumers staring at us, but as soon as she starts putting acrylic on my nails this dude starts talking badly about me in English RIGHT NEXT TO ME & still infront of all the other costumers. At this point I wiped the acrylic she applied on two of my nails off on the paper towel infront of me as I stand up and tell them I'm not going to sit here and finish a service while he's still sitting there throwing a tempure tantrum like a child being rude as hell. I walked right out that door. I honestly respect the woman who tried to fix his mistakes but he dug himself into a hole. He was so incompetent and just trying to make an extra buck, I'm glad I asserted myself and didn't allow him to take advantage of me.
